Came here for the famous steak and gravy - very tasty as expected! Loved the original and the garlic version. We had to sit inside because of the weather and it was way too loud (not due to music though), that might be distracting. Our drink order came wrong but that’s okay for us and dessert menu never made it to our table, so it is busy there be aware😄

What a lovely restaurant! Close to a tiny boulevard where other restaurants come close. The menu is various and the tenderloin I ate was very delicious! The waitresses where very nice and reacted really well to the guests. The dessert was só good. Strawberries with vanilla ice cream and whip cream, what else do you need?! It was really hard for me to make a reservation because it was short day and also because the restaurant is really popular, but sweet Anna made it possible for us! Credits to Anna for making this possible! Don't worry about a reservation guys, Loetje is spread all over the Netherlands! 😄

Great food, lovely atmosphere. Adequately priced. Pleasant service and nothing was too much of an ask. Great all round. Could get really busy at peak times. Right opposite a water front so after dinner we took a long casual walk.

Food is good. Even though they serve steak with the sauce on top of it. You can order it separately.

Fantastic location! Incredible if you are planning a date and want to surprise your significant other. Friendly staff and a good selection of food and drink. Location & Ambience: (5/5) I would give this area a 6 on 5. But that is because of the vibe of the entire street. The street is full of a great selection of restaurant from Asian to continental. The vibe during the evening and sunset are perfect. It changing sky and the feel of a small town make for a great evening view. Food & Drink: (4/5) The beer is a selection of the usual and nothing too out of the ordinary. The burgers were good as were the portion sizes. The flavours were all there and the salad was great. All in all a great option for food, but nothing that will blow your mind. I enjoyed it, but given the incredible food in Amsterdam overall, it’s hard to give it full marks. Nonetheless a great place to sit and grab food. After all an experience of eating out is an experience that involves all the senses. Summary: (4/5) Ambience, ambience and ambience. This is the place to be. A must try. A ways out of the city, but totally worth the trip down.

This is by far the best Loetje. The steak and bread were great and the fries were nothing short of amazing. Wow! The deserts were great as well. The only two things that I did not like was the fact that the waitress did not ask how we wanted our steak. The cook the steak medium rare, but I like my steak medium. As we entered the restaurant at 9:45 and since the kitchen closes at 10:30, we directly indicated which deserts we wanted to have. She responded that the desert can only be ordered after the main course. As we had our steaks and the kitchen was closing soon, the waitress did not take our order for deserts. That is why I decided to go the kitchen myself and ordered the deserts (five minutes before closing). I am glad I did because the deserts were amazing, but it would be attentive from the waitress to take our desert order, as she knew that the kitchen was closing. That is why I rated 4/5 instead of 5/5

We went here for a team diner. It is a very nice and cosy place with a very open atmosphere. Staff is kind and helpful. Food quality is very good. I took the classic steak. They serve it with a lot of meat jus. We also shared a steak 0.0 to test the vegetarian option, very interesting: a plant based 3D printed steak. Taste and structure made me doubt if it was really like meat. Nice restaurant and worth a visit when you are around. René

Came on a busy Thursday evening and the host made a great effort to make a space for us even though we didn’t have a reservation. We ordered the classic Ossenhaas, a Ossenhaas knoflook, and sweet potato fries. The meal was delicious and filling. The food came right away so there basically no waiting for anything but the staff to come to you. If you want to be extra indulgent don’t forget to ask for the free bread to take in those last bits of sauce.

We were visiting and heard great things and Loetje definitely did not disappoint. Only 4 stars as the beacon was OVERLY salty and it took forever just to get the bill and pay. Highly recommend if your visiting Amstelveen…have the steak, you won’t regret it!

We have been here several times and everytime the beef is just perfect! Try the hot Bali beef sauce! This time I tried avocado fries and what a nice surprise, super tastey. Wine selection is ok. Salad is good, hamburger big and delicious. Friet portion is too big, good for 3 people. Prices are normal. Our food came in an hour but servers were always smiling and they are all very friendly so no worries!

3 years ago they were the best and now they still are the best place to have a fantastic steak in Amsterdam. Table service still has some room for improvement, but was overall ok.

This location by the river in Ouderkerk has been one of our favourites over the years and Loetje is one of the places with tables by the water. Loetjes steaks and sauces are the same as in other locations and consistently good. The menu is otherwise limited and doesn't seem to vary at all. We found more choices with neighbouring restaurants in the past. Staff is very friendly, but not very good in following up or checking on tables regularly. Still we enjoyed our dinner and had a lovely evening.

2 of us ordered the poke bowl with salmon which was excellent but the only down side was the lack of salmon. It initially looked plentiful but it really isn’t. Beautiful presentation and super tasty but for €19.5, it definitely needs a bit more salmon.

I have never had a bad experience at any of the Loetje restaurants

Nice place. We were with a group of 8 people for an end of year lunch and had a nice corner spot all to ourselves. Service: Servers were nice and helpful. I'm pregnant and often find it annoying having to ask people about the food ingredients but they were really patient with me and answered my questions. However with a group of 8 people it's often a bit hard to coordinate everything so when we were drinking coffee they had forgotten one person which was a bit sad. But they acknowledged it and came back with our coffee. Food: I ordered the club sandwich chicken and it did not dissapoint. It was stuffed with chicken, bacon, mayo, tomato and lettuce on nice toasted corn bread. Someone else ordered the chicken salad which was Delicious, but just a really big portion. Could have definitely been smaller. Prices are very decent and cannot be complained about. Atmosphere: It's a nice looking place, wooden tables, a bit of an industrial vibe. The music wasn't too loud which means you could just focus on the conversation at the table. It does feel a bit like a lot of other restaurants do and to me that actually reduces the atmosphere. It lacks a bit of character in it's design. The bar in the middle is pretty cool and so I can imagine that around dinner time (and after) and on the weekends there could be a nice buzz going around the restaurant but that is just an assumption as we were here for lunch.

What an amazing steak! 300 grams of high quality meat smothered in onions, bacon and chicken livers. İt was delicious! Looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely restaurant near the river in Ouderkerk. Excellent food outside on the terrace next a boat ramp. A pleasure to watch the little boats go by and watch an interesting small, hand-operated pond, manned by 3 people to bring pedestrians to the other side of the water.

Very good location, friendly staff and good food. The ossenhaas (beef tenderloin) with jus was perfect. Schnitzel was good and so was the burger. The only disappointment for me was the bread they brought to dip in the jus. It was just toast bread :) definitely worth the visit

Great food, sadly bad service. I accidentally dropped ketchup on the table and asked the waiter to give me other napkin to clean it. She never bought it. I had to use my own napkin lyo clean it myself. I left the dirty napkin on the table so she could remove it or realize that I had asked for one. She ignored it. I had to move it to another table and I ended up my meal without a napkin. The dessert came in without a spoon for the ice cream, it was apple cake with ice cream, so I had to eat my dessert with a fork. I never expect friendly waitres anymore. I only wished they would take their job seriously. More care on details like this would make a huge huge different in people's visit.

Used to love Loetje, great steaks and tasty chips. Not any more tasteless steak and cheap frozen chips. Will never visit again. One more thing 25% increase in price and steak smaller. Better value elsewhere.

Nice place in a calm afternoon. On the river, so in a good weather can watch boats pass by. On the other side - popular cyclist and motorbike path. Prices are not much lower than in Amsterdam but for the location definitely appropriate. Quick and attentive service (mostly).

Lovely place. Charming building. The food is delicious. Really enjoyed visiting this place. The Jamón Serrano was very tasty and melted on the tongue. The Rib eye excellent. The Loetje toetje amazing. Best 'Cortado I have had in a while. Coming back soon.

Great relaxed restaurant with excellent service! Awesome atmosphere with lots of patrons for dinner. We had the Loetje's Hamburger and the Schnitzel as well as a side of fries all of which were tasteful with generous portions.

Had a nice lunch, the steak was great but the vegan kebab with sweet potato looked amazing as well.
