I feel like De Duivelsberg is the most loved pancake restaurant around Nijmegen. It’s located outside of the city but definitely worth a trip. Combine it together with a forest walk and you got yourself a lovely Saturday activity. It can be pretty busy around lunch especially with such great weather, so if you hate waiting in the queue - make sure to reserve in advance. It’s also dog-friendly so you will find many furry friends around🐶

11 of us turned up with no reservation and they managed to accommodate us by moving a few tables arround. Service was excellent we could not fault it one bit and the food was fantastic. We only visit here every so often and we have never had bad service or food yet

Love this place at the top of the 'Devils Mountain'. Friendly people and great Dutch pancakes. Lots of seats both inside and outside, even on colder days. And a huge nice terrace. They do monthly special pancakes and they can be very nice. This months 'Topper' had dates and digs and nuts and was one of the better special pancakes I've had. The crunchy pistachios, almonds and walnuts go so well with their pancake dough. A genuine pancake place that doesn't have that full on children restaurant vibe that most of them do. It's just nice and cozy and serves great food on a very inspiring spot.

Well where do I start... I used to come around this restaurant ever since I could walk and never stopped coming here ! It's my favourite place to go to, for a walk and a delightful drink, for a family gathering with a festive pancake or just whenever I feel like craving their speciality 😋 I love the surroundings, I love their creations and I just love this restaurant! See you soon again

I have childhood memories of this pancake restaurant in the forrest which makes me think of the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale. The place is at a beautiful location from where you can go for a walk in nature. And this is the place where to come back and treat yourself and others to a pancake from their extensive list of varieties. Children’s playground outside. May look a bit outdated but it’s kind of a nostalgic atmosphere. If you want to make sure you have a table definitely make a reservation upfront as it can be very crowded.

A place with the best pancakes and a beautiful surrounding in the middle of the forest. Easy to reach by car and bikes. On the hiking trail near berg en daal. Favorite pancakes, via Romana, Opschepper (tastes like indian uttapam)

Stellar pancake house tucked away in a historic and beautiful natural setting. Loved the guided tour explaining the Roman era and unique features of the area. Pancakes are top-notch with a variety of choices. Perfect spot for walking tours. Highly recommend for a unique and tasty outing

Almost perfect! The location of this pannenkoekhuis is amazing, set deep in the forest. A really good welcome refuge if walking the N70 hiking route. The pannenkoeken were a little undercooked in my opinion (a bit too mushy on the inside) but the ingredient choices and selection are a lot better than other restaurants.

Such a beautiful place to eat Pancake (pannenkoeken), the restaurant is the middle of the woods! You can drive to get there or take a short hiking and ending with a super delicious Pancake and a glass (or two) wine! They also have a nice play ground for your children to let them busy. Just as a perfect place as it is also super friendly staff! Recommended..!

We thought that the pancakes are crepe-thin! Oh, boy we were wrong. We ordered 3 pancakes just for the two of us but we're glad that the lady helped us to pack the rest. But overall, the taste was good! And they have a nice view. It is better to come there just before opening because it gets crowded during lunch time and we saw people need to wait before being seated. We also had a nice hike going there.

Truly amazing venue with authentic and creative menu...reasonably priced, what delicious pancakes they have in middle of woods ...a must visit venue if you are a pancake lover ...that double ginger dutch beer is also something refreshing after long walk. Great part is pets are very welcome and staffs are extremely dog friendly and shows warm gestures to dogs with treat etc..

An excellent place to go fuel yourself before a hike:) Depending on the time of the day, you might have to wait a little but they are very well organized. The waiters/waitresses are always kind and accommodating. They offer both indoor and outdoor space so it's suitable both for dogs and kids (if your kids get cold easily, idk im only 20). Anyways, go there.

This restaurant is situated in beautiful hilly terrain, the surrounding area is a great place to have a walk and drum up some hunger. When you arrive at this restaurant you’re pleasantly greeted and with good weather you’ll be seated on a nice terrace. The food is great, portions are generous, and pancakes have plenty of toppings, all for a good price. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Amazing place for a stopover. Wide variety of pancakes and many tables outside. Children can play on their park. Prices are normal too! Absolutely recommended..

We would rate this restaurant a 6/5 if we could! From the lovely location (nestled amidst the Duivelsberg forest) to the classic Dutch ambience inside, the atmosphere was both warm and welcoming. And the food! There are more menu items than just pancakes, but I would suggest you go for their trademark. A nice variety between sweet and savoury, all are delicious and they are very generous with their toppings (and I mean VERY), and their hot chocolate with rum is not to be missed either for cool, Autumn-y weather. Servers were friendly and COVID precautions were evident, which was nice to see as well, but didn’t interfere with the whole restaurant experience.

Best pancake restaurant in/around the city on a beautiful location! Wide range of choices, from simple banana pancakes to pancakes with brie. Beautiful surrounding to walk through on a nice summer or autumn afternoon. Prices more than fair and very good service!

The pancakes were really nice, however I do think the cheese was a bit too much. Staff was friendly but really bad at smalltalk. Prices are on the higher side of the spectrum .

For after your walk in the forest the best place to crash down and take a drink and eat a pancake. Service was good. Food was great a really big pancake cooked to the perfect.
