Catholic church. Beautiful temple to pray, with possible space for kids to learn a bit of Christ and know other children.

I frequently joined the mass here, w/ English or Nederland as the language. Once upon a time, I joined a mass and the staff appointed that time commanded me to take my hat off. I didnt know why he required me to take it off. It could be inappropriate wearing a hat in a mass. But then I think, does God really think in that time I didnt deserve to worship? Does God judge the way I dressed? If this happened many times, it makes sense that youngmen prefer not to go to churches.

Beautiful cathedral. Walked in during mass on Saturday morning. I'm not catholic, but it was a pleasure to observe even though it was in Dutch and Latin. And I love that incense! There are many murals, statues, and gorgeous stained glass windows. It's worth a visit. Only 5 minutes from the center.

Visit for the beauty of the interior, not necessarily for the quality of the worship experience. Stained glass windows are remarkable as well as the Christ on the cross hanging above the altar. The hoge mis (high mass) is very stilted and the incense will over power you, so sit in the back. I felt that the music, though well executed, was haunting and not joyful. Though the words were about joy and clapping your hands, it was sung very sadly. There is an English language pamphlet to accompany the Latin. There is no translation of the Dutch language homily. Needless to say, it is dominated by male clergy. Even the Scriptures were read by priests rather than lay leaders. So, no women participated in the mass.

Everything is nice... If you're interested in architecture, you will see a beautiful building... But if you go for the mass, everything is even more beautiful! The quality and warmth of the speech after the Gospel is always amazingly beautiful... And the community is always welcoming and super sweet ♥️ I can say that this is, by far, my happiest place ♥️

On the occasion of the world prayer week, we were treated by a Gregorian prayer song. On an other occasion, we attended a concerts of the braghi orchestra and choir in this church. The acoustics in this church is very nice. Moreover the church is also very nicely furnished.

Luckily I got in there when it was calm and quiet. it wasn't really open for public (I guess, as the lights were all of) this cathedral isn t that huge, but a humble hidden gem.

Very beautiful church. The bells to call for the mass are the most horrible thing I have ever heard in my life. There are amazing ways to combine bells to produce a pleasant harmony. Please change it because it’s painful to wake up at 10:20 on a saturday to this sound.
