I've been several times in Vietnam and I am familiar with their cuisine. This restaurant serves the food as authentic as their native country. Beautifully prepared as one can wish for. Dishes are served with the exquisite flavours, spices and fragrances so familiar to me. The menu is reasonable priced. Excellent service and the fitting out is so cool.

The ambience is nice and the service is great, two stars for them. For food, the Vietnamese rice noodles here are now the worst I've ever had in the Netherlands. Everything was not right. The beef broth already had a weird sour taste before the lime was added, the rice noodles were clumped together in the bowl, not fresh and therefore no texture. The rice noodles in the tofu soup were flavorless. For authentic Vietnamese vermicelli, the chili, bean sprouts and cilantro should be added separately on the plate and the customer would decide whether to add it or not, but here it was added directly to the soup. The spicy soup of thin rice noodles and the classic banana-based Vietnamese dessert that appeared in the old Google reviews are no longer offered. The only plausible explanation for all this is that the chef is gone, but the former rave reviews stayed. I later verified this with the waiter. They got a new chef and a new menu. It was just awful. I'm really disappointed and saddened. If this restaurant wants to stay in business, and if it's not possible to bring back the original chef, please at least choose a real Vietnamese as the chef. I'm sorry, but I had to write this review to help other diners make their choice. Utrecht and Amsterdam have a lot of very good Vietnamese noodles, and I do hope that hilversum will have one back in the future.

Wow 🤩🤍 Tried Beef Pho, Vietnamese ribs and beef stew. Pho definitely the best, I’ve experienced. Overall food was beyond our expectations. Inside it’s super cosy, tables and decorations are placed in a way, that doesn’t make you feel crowded, however there are always a lot of people. Will definitely recommend this place and come back myself🙂

Absolutely amazing. Can’t believe it’s taken me so long to visit this restaurant. Fresh, authentic and food made with love and pride. The head waiter is also incredibly friendly and helpful.

Ninh Binh is a really good place to eat. The food was very delicious and I’m surprised I didn’t go there sooner. Good atmosphere and friendly personnel. Will definitely go here again 💜

I went there for lunch today. It is just delicious 😋 A took a noodle soup and a mix of started . Just great. Very welcoming place in the city center of Hilversum. Easy to park (in the mall of front of it) or easier by bike. See you soon Ninh Binh!

Visited with a few friends. Food was very nice, cocktails were on theme and surprising, personell very friendly and helpful. All in all a great experience. Only downside is that it felt a little jampacked with people, but that tends to happen when it's a good restaurant.

It's located just across a large shopping mall in Hilversum so it's very easy to reach. We went here with friends for dinner and we enjoyed it. Many of the menu items offered flexible adjustments (for vegan or vegetarians for example). The food had great flavors and was fairly priced. The staff was very friendly as well. When we informed the staff of items incorrectly added to our bill they apologized profusely and compensated for the inconvenience by removing one of our drinks from the bill. We'd definitely come back here next time we crave authentic Vietnamese food.

Delicious Vietnamese food with a very clear and easy to choose from menu, even for firstimers with no idea about the Vietnamese cuisine. The food is very tasty and authentic and the atmosphere and service are good. Sometimes it takes a bit longer for the dishes to come but you will not regret the wait.

The Goi Cuon here were exactly what we expected. Is was especially Nice that the vegetarian option didn’t automatically contain tofu. The rolls are royally filled with veggies and herbs, everything tastes super fresh and crispy! Helpful staff and definitely worth returning to try out the rest of the menu.

These photos honestly don't do the food justice, I will come back someday with a better camera 😅 however the food and service was excellent! Enjoyed it a lot and definitely will visit again.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and tried 3 fingerfood dishes to share - all were delicious and also gluten free! I was so impressed how many options were GF, and that I could have the bitterballen & dumplings since they were rice based - but didn’t lack in quality or taste whatsoever without the wheat! Very friendly place and a fun color changing drink as well! We tried Nem Ran, Vietnamese dumplings, and Ga Com Dep, a matcha latte and butterfly lemonade (color changing)

The ONLY authentic PHO in Hilversum, soup, beef, herbs are perfect! Nothing can be better than having a bowl of warm PHO soup in cold winter time here, even it is a bit pricey.

Nice central location, food is authentic but a bit more sweet than usual. Spring rolls were handmade and Pho broth is quite flavorful, would give one more star if the pho noodles were a bit softer.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in town, i love their Pho ( beef noodle soup ) but tonight i ordered other kind of foods and i recommend " Banh Khot " is the second one on the " must try " list

Food is okay, service could be much better. I ordered vegan bao but they gave me the chicken one so I sent it back. In the end got my vegan bao but now I just realized they charged me for the chicken one!

Always a treat, especially the starters and desserts are amazing and everything tastes homemade. Also great pho and nice beers (t IJ) on tap with friendly service to boot.

We ate our dinner outside, the staff, even though there were plenty working, didn't really seem focused as our drinks got forgotten and we had to wait about 30mins until someone took our order (after raising my hands a couple of times) The food itself was of good quality. We ordered (I cannot recall the names) the spicy soup and the dark rice with duck. The duck was very soft and juicy. It was a quite dry dish without sauce though. Just a few salad leaves and dry rice on the side. It cost me 20,90€. It was okay, but would not come again.

The restaurant is cozy, cute, easy to find, near the parking lot, delicious food, friendly staff, especially Vietnamese owner is also very friendly. Will comeback soon 👍

Fantastic food! Their spicy soups are top of the line. Vietnamese food is usually a gamble for people with weak stomachs. Never had any issues here. Support this place! They also accept all credit cards and Apple Pay

Absolutely stellar Vietnamese restaurant! We shared both the 4 and 3 course menu among the four of us and the staff was really accomodating to make it into one big food fest. They even added two bowls of Pho, so we could all enjoy it. Great service and both the chef and head waiter took the time to come and talk with us, making it a night to remember. Both Ninh Binh’s (the town in Vietnam and this restaurant) do not disappoint 👍

Although food was good (the appetizers) we waited for over one hour for our main dishes (pho soups). We were sitting outside and we were literally abandoned there, very poor service. We are definitely not coming back. This is unfortunate as we had read reviews that mentioned the place was great..not really
