Good local spot right in town. The other reviews are pretty accurate - it's very colourful, cheap, and the food is consistently good. The only downside is that they don't speak/understand English so well and that it's hot in there but at the price point it's hard to expect anything more. I ate here 5+ times while I was in Weligama and would recommend people to try it. I tried both the vegetable curry, as well as the vegetable and chicken fried rice and they were all good.

Great chicken and curry local restaurant! Should try at least once for understanding how locals ate here for a long time in history. Not comparable with European restaurants so you better prepare and adjust expectations. Curry is really spicy as it should be.

Best Sri Lankan kottu of all the places we have tried. Recommend to take egghoppers. Amazingly cheap and flavourful. Ps! Workers don't understand english very good, it's a simple lunch place, don't expect to get special service there.
