Nice place until the bill came. We spent hours there and then when the bill came I found several "inaccuracies". Had to argue for quite a while to get the posted prices and the correct list of items. We stayed one night at this place. It was a very unpleasant experience. We had booked a family room with two double beds prior to our arrival. But when we reached the place, they said the room wasn't available and wanted to put us in a room with bunker beds where others could also walk into sleep. The booking form had all details clearly where we had put a family room with double beds. But they said that isn't how their system indicated it. There was no professionalism at all and the staff looked very unhygienic. There were plates and dishes with leftover food stacked all over the place. The room and bathroom were clean but there was an awful smell of a toilet pit on the corridors. They wanted to serve breakfast only at 9am. By 8.30am, they were in sarongs brushing teeth. Though the menu said we can have an egg of our choice, they gave fried eggs. Hot butter cuttlefish we ordered at night took such a long time and most of it was burnt. The next door place,New Hummus,was so much better and hospitable. They were cleanly dressed and offered us coffee,which wasn't available on time at the other place. Chill Bay is not at all recommended.

We visited this place twice. One for just to have coffee and reading. The other time was for food. Fish Curry was great and we were surprised this place didn’t get enough reviews for this. My Fiancé had chicken burger it was 7/10 but the best one in Sri Lanka so far. Staff was very friendly.

We ordered fish and grilled tuna and waited more than 40 mins for food - there were now other customers. In the end, tuna was burned and almost not edible. Portion was small and not satisfying or filling at all. Two stars just because of grilled fish which was pretty good.

Loved staying here as a couple for a week. Perfect location in centre of Weligama. Across the road from beach. Very spacious and clean rooms with a/c and generator overlooking huge beautiful clean pool. Very relaxed atmosphere. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back on our next visit.

We had lunch there today. Seafood Fried rice was Average. Banana lassie and chocolate milkshake were good. 😊 Chocolate brownie with icecream was really good !👍 Served pretty fast. Spacious . Right in front of the beach. Prices were usual not cheap or costly.

Relaxed Restaurant & Bar with great food, friendly service and ok prices (they don't charge extra "service charge" or alike..). Some portions could be a little bigger and cocktails would make the menu complete, but overall the bar on the first floor with its beanbags and hammocks is a great spot to hang out before, during or after your day at the beach. We stayed for three nights (they have rooms too) so we enjoyed different foods and drinks. Rooms are new, big and clean, equipped with ceiling fan. They also have a fantastic and quiet big and clean pool with sun chairs, showers etc. as well as a shallow children pool. While at the moment there is still some minor work going on to finish the garden, once completed this place should be awesome..

Nice restaurant by the looks. After two hours waiting for our food, staff told us our dishes were not even availabe. Manager helped out though, we did not went home hungry.
