Literally
the
best
hostel.
I
was
travelling
through
Sri
Lanka
for
2
months.
Was
supposed
to
travel
around
south
coast
going
from
town
to
town
with
a
new
hostel
every
town.
I
went
Hikkaduwa,
Mirissa,
Tangalle
but
then
I
came
to
Weligama
and
found
Rockstel
Hostel.
I
was
supposed
to
spend
one
day
there.
This
one
day
became
2
1/2
weeks,
every
day
I
was
convinced
I
would
leave
the
next
day
but
every
morning
had
to
rebook
another
night.
It
became
a
running
joke
around
the
hostel
that
everybody
would
always
say
“one
more
day”.
Me
and
many
others
overstayed
our
original
plan
because
the
place
has
such
a
good
atmosphere-
hostel
visitors
but
also
more
importantly
the
staff.
They’re
so
accommodating
and
friendly.
I
feel
bad
not
mentioning
all
of
them
so
I
will
just
name
new
friend
Laki.
Laki
is
the
hostel
manager
and
the
best
man.
He’s
very
professional
but
also
a
great
guy
who
will
often
hang
out
with
everyone,
he’s
part
of
the
party
but
also
will
give
you
helpful
local
tips(never
any
money
included(which
is
common)).
Honest
great
man.
I
had
some
medical
surf
troubles
at
the
end
and
he
helped
me
out
in
the
hospital
(as
an
Englishman
but
Sinhalese
is
poor
to
say
the
least)
speaking
to
the
local
staff,
visited
me
and
brought
me
food.
He
did
this
all
In
his
own
time
because
of
his
big
heart.
Again,
the
atmosphere
at
this
hostel
was
amazing.
It’s
also
a
very
good
location
near
the
beach
and
a
local
supermarket.
It’s
very
affordable
and
the
rooms
have
comfy
beds,
air
conditioning(important!),
warm
showers
and
is
clean.
Can’t
recommend
this
hostel
enough.
The
south
coast
isn’t
too
big,
if
you
want
to
travel
around
it
I
would
recommend
staying
in
Rockstel
Weligama
and
travelling
each
day
to
a
new
place.
Or
just
stay
in
Weligama,
it’s
so
good!
Coming
back
next
year
