EXCELLENT experience at Groenhuijs. It is inside a nursery and right next to their actual greenhouse. Staff was friendly, food was great and gave an authentic Welkom experience. Highlights include the lemon water self service and the lemon and lime trees. The mexican chicken burger was exceptional and so were the cookies they served with their hot drinks, we got a pack of those to go. 🤤

Nice spot to hang out with a friend or a group of friends, some of the employees are professional and friendly. I really enjoyed the food and vibe. This restaurant is close to the main road, easy access for people that use public transport, has a play area for kids. Overall, the place is nice and the food is great. Some of the employees just nees to be reminded that all customers are equal ☺️ I do recommend this restaurant.

The service, atmosphere, aesthetic and food is amazing. Great for a quick getaway meal, sweet treat, a date or even a catch up lunch, as they have alcohol on site and the menu is light to not really heavy. The staff is quite friendly and they are constantly checking on you. I enjoyed the berry gin cocktail I ordered, will definitely be trying the others out. My lil sis says their milkshake is quite thick, creamy and delicious, one of the best she's tried. It's so clean, wow. Argh the place is amazing and I'll definitely be going back

Very limited menu. Only tramezzinis and burgers for main meals. Tramezzinis were a disappointment, just a few strands of pork between two slabs of dry bread (for R100 with chips). Not even restaurants in bigger cities are as expensive as this place.

The bacon and cheese pancakes I had this morning was not great. It's the first time I have to complain been going for years. The bacon bits had so many pieces of fat in. If it was a little more crispy than it would have been better. Sorry

So wonderful to see Modern Pantry open after extended lockdown. They have taken the need for patrons safety very seriously with disposable menus, lots of hand sanitizer easily available and physical distancing. Menu pared down which is understandable but staff still friendly and helpful. Please support Modern Pantry.
