Was super excited to try this place based on the raving reviews but was unfortunately very disappointed. Not only was the wait time 40 minutes, but the food was very mediocre. The deep fried pickles were delicious but were cold. The poutines were barely warm and the tofu jerk burger was completely flavorless and nothing “jerk” about it. Re-heating my poutine in the oven as I’m writing this…

Tabersnack has been on our restaurant bucket list for over a year now and we finally had a chance to check it out! It was very busy, but the cashier Kendra still took the time to go through the whole menu for us and talked us into buying a lot of the local products offered in the store. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! We stocked up on local drinks, cheeses and even some water Buffalo summer sausage- on top of picking up lunch to eat! Our order was brought right to our vehicle and was exactly as we had hoped and more. We took it down to a local spot to enjoy by the water. Exceptional! Looking forward to our next trip :)

The cheese curds are the best part of this poutine place. I also enjoyed the extra crispy fries. The meat however was not flavorful, quite bland tbh. I would probably just get the regular one next time cause everything except for the meat was excellently cooked! 😋

Absolutely loved it! My wife has celiac disease. But she could have all but one (or two?) Items off of their menu. We had poutine with mushroom gravy, onion rings and a bacon cheese burger... I would never have guessed there wasn't any wheat product involved.

The owner is extremely RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL towards customers who complain about her food and service. Over priced food and not worth the wait at all. Waited over an hour and a half for one poutine and hot dog that was a “take out” order. There is a better food restaurant down the road that has FRIENDLY staff and better food at a GOOD price. I don’t know how this person is still in business after reading other reviews on her service and how ignorant she is. You do NOT talk to customers like that. Owner needs a serious attitude adjustment.

Came out this way to spend the day sightseeing. Our main stops were the Lake on the Mountain and Sandbanks Provincial Park. While enjoying the picturesque scenery on the drive from one destination to the other, we passed this cute little place with a name that had me cracking up. Never heard or seen this place in my life, but I'm sooo happy we stopped off here at the end of a long day. Chantal greeted us and served us. The place is small and cozy inside with available seating outside. Food is made to order, so food takes time to prepare, while it did, we soaked the place right in. They have local beers and wine to pair with your choice of food as well. My daughter had her hotdogs and my son had the cheeseburger poutine. I had the 6oz burger ( they have 4oz too ) which I needed to unhinge my jaw to bite that big lol. The service was impeccable, made us feel comfortable and talked to us and we talked with other customers too, such a laid back atmosphere. Even met the lady that named the place lol. The restaurant was well lit and super clean inside and out, bathrooms were clean as well. I know I " had a burger " for dinner but it was easily in my top 10 burgers now!! Definitely worth a couple dozen repeat trips lol but in all honesty, we hit the trifecta here, great food, great service and awesome attitude. Nowadays that is ultra rare and I appreciate the effort. Thank you Chantal and the snow bird Tracy and whoever else makes this place function.

Highly recommended! The food and service were excellent, the outdoor seating felt safe, and it was dog friendly! We had a great time and would come back again next time we're around. The crunch on those onion rings though👌

Excellent service and food! Food is always made fresh and melt in your mouth delicious! Chantel is an amazing person and chef, she pours her heart into every dish and it shows! The woody burger is fantastic with lamb, scallions and to die for caramelized onions 🤤 also if you get a chance, try the onions rings or the poutine! You won’t be disappointed!!! Wish I could rate higher than 5 stars.

Great place and came highly recommend from friends for the putine. The owner was super friend, and the portions are an excellent size. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to stop over and check out the place.
