Good place for indian food. You will find all local indian dishes here. Enjoyed the food and experience. Their serving size is one person only and food does not feel heavy. It is crowded and long wait lines at times. Reservations are hughly recommended. The place is small and seating is quite close. Cooperative staff and excellent hospitality. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

Well we waited for 45 mins seated outside with an infant hoping to be served. Unfortunately no one came to take the order and the owner simply said he couldn't do anything about it. Left the place vouching to never return after this reckless behaviour and zero customer service.

Absolutely horrible customer service. The waiter called us stupid because we were asking to see if we could sit on a 4 seater vs 2 because when we got there the restaurant was empty and it would have been nice to have a little extra space. His body language and tone was horrific and very derogatory. He was flat out disrespectful and his managerial staff sat there and didn’t say a word about anything so they are as guilty as he was. Obviously I am not going to visit this place ever again. Pathetic as best.

Excellent meal, the staff here really looked after us on a busy night and despite having no reservation and being told the kitchen was busy, we were welcomed and given a table. The staff spoke english to us and explained the dishes we chose, which arrived quickly despite the busy night. Ten out of ten, would definitely return here for an indian meal and the great atmosphere!

The food was ok. But we ordered akbar menu for 2 person and waitress forgot to get us naan, and 2 sabzis when asked she made faces and got it. Service is getting bad. Didn't even apologize for forgetting. We need to remember what we order. Quantity of aloo matar was so less for 2 people it looked more for small child portion. We had to find aloo and matar only few spoons of water was there.

True Indian taste, wauw the food is amazing . So much flavour. Offcourse it’s a Indian restaurant . But such a great taste.

Staff is unwelcoming and with a constant frown on their faces. I was with 3 other friends, sit in's, no reservation and we waited more than one hour for our dinner. The food wasn't worth the wait at all. If you ever go there without a reservation be aware of the waiting time.

I went there with two friends. The food was good; however the service was extremely bad. One waiter was trying to take the plate while my friend was still trying to finish the salad. I told the waiter that he could take my plate (with some pieces of tomatoes/lettuces on it), this waiter answered, "you should leave the salad to your friend." Unnecessarily rude.

The food was delicious and my paneer was cooked to perfection. Thank you for taking the time to ask me if I wanted it sweet, spicy or in between.

Came here last minute and didnt regret one bit.. Staff was on point,the food was great,service and atmosphere was absolutely fabulous.. would recommend anyone to try..

1. If you are looking for authentic Indian place this is not the place for you. 2. Staff is not friendly also they don’t pay attention to feedback and improve things and service. 3. Seems like They run on very tight budget seems they even can’t afford to replace the cutlery after each course. Food quality and quantity 1. The breads were not so good- specially Parathas 2. The quantity of Cucumber raita was not even sufficient for 1 person, they served us 1 small bowl not even half filled. 3. Taste of curries were not even close to Indian flavours.

What a pleasure to eat fresh, truly authentic Indian food served by friendly and attentive staff in a welcoming and cozy environment. Great stuff. Dropped in a Wednesday night ~20:00 and though busy there were a few tables open. Pleasant atmosphere. Had the Taj Mahal menu for two. The portions appeared small at first, but the number of dishes gave us not only a great sampling of flavors it also left us quite full and very content. Very reasonably priced. Loved it. Absolutely will be back and highly recommend. It makes perfect sense this kitchen has been in business for 35 years. Go see for yourself.

Average Indian restaurant. The starter was strange and felt not much like home made. I am sure they are. But I had samosa and Orion Bhaji that tasted much better. Main courses was ok and there was plenty of food for all of us. Friendly service and ok ambience.

We had made a reservation but were seated in another location close to the restaurant. We did not receive a drink, updates on the waiting time or apologies. Only once we were told they were preparing a table for us. After 40 minutes we decided to leave. The restaurant manager or owner did not seem to be bothered, again no apologies. I cannot judge the food but service is appalling in my view.

The food was okay. When making the reservation I asked for a quiet table, but the table we got turned out to be in the busiest part, with (loudly talking) guests half a meter away on both sides. Bad service.

Not bad nor good, the toughest part of the experience was about to be understood. Not à bad restaurant at all. The cat was friendly as well as "The Rosé".

One of the best restaurant in NL. The owners are very humble, nice. The food came very quickly to us even thought there was so much rush. <3 We often go there when we want to eat something authentic indian food.

We ordered this as a take away and we’re quite disappointed. The food was average and the containers were only half full. Considering they were 18.50 each, it was just disappointing.

I want several Indian restaurants in the Netherlands. Taj Mahal is definitely in the top 7 Indian restaurants in NL in respect of price and quality. Food and service was nice and satisfactory. And it is true the food was not too spicy. Maybe that is because they have lots of Dutch customers.
