My
friend
and
I
went
to
Park
Avenue
Grill
because
it
came
up
highly
rated
for
gluten-free
friendly
restaurants.
This
place
was
definitely
popping!
We
arrived
around
12:30pm
on
a
Sunday,
and
we
had
to
wait
10
minutes
for
a
table.
They
will
put
you
on
the
waitlist
and
will
text
you
when
your
table
is
ready.
The
interior
is
cozy
and
reminded
me
of
a
bed
and
breakfast.
If
you
pay
in
cash,
you
only
need
to
pay
the
menu
prices,
which
is
why
I
recommended
cash
over
card.
We
both
ordered
strawberry
lemonade,
which
was
refreshing,
but
the
strawberry
flavor
took
away
from
the
tanginess
of
the
lemonade.
I
ordered
the
Country
Omelet
($18)
and
my
friend
ordered
some
type
of
gluten-free
tacos
that
were
on
the
specials
menu.
The
food
was
terrific!!
For
me,
I
got
my
omelet
with
fruit
instead
of
home
fries.
The
toast
had
the
perfect
amount
of
butter,
and
the
omelet
was
flavored
well
and
all
the
meats
were
juicy.
My
friend
also
completely
cleared
her
plate,
and
did
not
have
a
gluten-attack
after
we
ate
here.
The
only
reason
that
I
did
not
give
Park
Avenue
Grill
5
stars
is
because
of
the
way
I
got
treated
in
the
restaurant.
The
waitress
would
not
look
at
me
and
would
only
address
my
friend.
I
felt
a
little
weird,
but
I
did
not
want
to
read
into
it.
It
was
my
friend
who
brought
up
that
the
waitress
completely
ignored
me.
When
the
bill
was
brought,
they
also
handed
it
directly
to
my
friend.
It
was
like
I
did
not
exist.
I
can
see
if
I
did
not
speak
English
or
was
rude
to
the
staff,
but
that
was
not
the
case.
So
at
the
end
of
the
day,
it
just
felt
slightly
racist.
It
seems
this
is
not
a
common
experience
at
this
restaurant
when
I
was
reading
the
reviews,
but
I
wanted
to
put
it
out
there
because
it
was
our
experience.
