There wasnt a line to get into the store, but there was a very long line to check out. We were surprised by how quickly it moved & our wait time was maybe 10 minutes. Go with a freezer bag to put your icecream in while waiting in line & you'll be fine.

Placed a deli order for a cold cut platter and salads, not for a new year's e e celebration, but to feed a houseful of people taking family photos. Placed the order 4 days ago, uneventful. Called the store this morning to see if order was ready, uneventful. As a matter of fact, the young lady that answered the phone said " oh I just finished, come anytime to get it". Drive to store, ask for order...eventful. long story short, no order. Then we are told we are in the wrong store, when I show my caller id and it is this store I am told no woman works in the deli dept. 2 walk right behind him (I believe his name is David). He tells us that there are 2 stop and shops in West Babylon. That is true, but unless the other store is using this stores phone number, as it shows in my phone, for both placing the order and verifying it, the order should be here. Being told, sorry check West Babylon and West Islip, was there way of ending this conversation. I go up front to speak to customer service, 20 minutes of my life I will never get back, ends the same way. Not once did any of the 3 managers offer to fix this problem. It was only after we told the we want it done and done now, did they say they would. If I didn't have 15 people in my house, I would have left, never to give stop and shop a penny of my money ever again. I'm only giving 1 star because an hour and a half later I finally got my platter. Sigh...happy New Year.

Great Stop & Shop. I like this particular store more than the others, their Flower section and the flowers themselves are far better than the other markets. I found a they had a really good selection of different colored roses alone. They easily rivaled flower shops. Other than that that way I was nice, clean store and helpful staff

We love this store. We’re new to the area and the employees are all really nice and the place is pretty clean. The bakery is delicious! We ordered our sons birthday cake from here and it got rave reviews (cookies and cream filled)

Cashier Daylana was very unfriendly, didn’t acknowledge me at all and barely said a word the whole checkout. After I said thanks have a good day she said nothing. Also I had a $2 off coupon on my card that she didn’t tell me about, seems she just didn’t want to be there. Big contrast to the other employees who are friendly and welcoming and willing to help

Store not stocked well, employees don't know where anything is. There's one cashier (Indian woman with long hair) who makes you feel uncomfortable as she hawks you at self checkout. There's usually a girl in self checkout who always has very greasy hair and gets annoyed if you ask her for help. I'd rather go to stop and shop in Amityville . The store is clean, stocked and employees are helpful.

I like the workers here and the selection, but lately so many items I've picked up have been expired. Mainly in the International and Asian sections. I came home to realize the Kerrygold cheese I just spent $8 on expired in July! (It's the end of August right now).

It’s 6pm on a Tuesday and Of the 11 checkout counters only two are open. Self checkout is wrapped around the aisle. There are no baskets in the store. They claim people keep stealing them. Order more maybe? How do you expect people to spend money here?

Shop & Shop is one of the most popular food chain stores and affordable in the US. Not only the prices very low compared to others but they have parking for customers. This particular one is not an exception,have everything all Stop&Shop have and a good customer service.

Stop and shop is a nice store. The salad bar is pretty good, I say that only because the prices are reasonable. At a higher price the rating would go down.

Besides Prices increasing 😠 Stop & Shop has always been one of my #1 Grocery stores!

You would hope that the place that sells your food and groceries would at least clean the the restroom this place smells worse than the NYC Subway and if they don't even have the courtesy of cleaning the customer restrooms what do you what do you think their storage looks like or smells like at away

My favorite grocery store! Very convenient and staff are friendly and always help me find what I need. Oh and they have a Starbucks!!!!

The store inside is well kept and clean. The sales they have are good. There's also a can and bottle return inside.

Only had to get a few things & the cashier was so kind because i was using scan n go n my 2 year old grand daughter pushed checkout n it froze. The cashier was very nice n was not annoyed at all!

I'm giving a 5star only because of staff, especially the cashier Angie!! She is amazing. So friendly, helpful and she cares about her customers. She is one of the only cashiers that I've seen (out of all the places I shop). Thank you Angie!

Nothing but aggravation at the end of a long, hot workday! No PLU sticker on wing bar container; grocery scanner light goes on and I can proceed no further. Nice staff person helps, then moves on to help the next person (as she should). I go to my next item and scan a grapefruit, and… PLU sticker # won’t work, therefore sending scanner into “proceed no further” mode again! The very nice clerk was moving from person to person non-stop and now I’m stuck waiting again. Not her fault at all. Stop & Shop please, you can do better! At the end of my workday I am not interested in play guessing games as to the prices of items in your store! Yes, I left everything at the scanner and went to your competition. We pay to much to put up with sub par service, please properly mark your groceries.

I want to send money internationally. She says I needed to download western union apps .so she can send money. It doesn't make a sense. She says western unions new policy. I went to western union store. I sent it money within 2 minutes. So I don't know what is going on. I recommend the customer never send money from this stop and stop. Or let them change the rules.thanks for your concern. Anyway I forgot to tell about how dirty is on floor and I stepped some kind of food on the floor. I was going to fell down. Thanks God I am very careful on walking. Next time I will take a picture and show what it is .floor was Full of food spread on the floor. And also 6 ea tangerine is $5 . Is it highway robbery . They buy from whosale $1 and sell $5 .look at that price .they were blaming gas price goes up. I see it. Now gas prices come down extremely low. And prices are going . I recommend all world strike only 3 days do not buy anything and don't go. Look how they will reduce the prices and sell fair profit. That's it.

I have never had any issues with any Stop & Shop That I have shopped at but this one has to be by far the worst one I have ever been to, they are never in stock with their freezer section goods and it’s quite annoying at first I thought it may have been due to the pandemic but I have realized that that is not the case and this has now been consistent for a year and a half now. Not sure how this company orders their goods and if whether or not it is automatic but whatever the case may be they need to up their surplus in the area of the freezer goods to meet the demand in the store, at least that’s what any good store manager would and should do.

The supermarket itself is five stars, but I didn't like how the cashier treated me. The cashier appeared to be of age and should have some patience and courtesy, and professionalism, but instead, the opposite was true. I paid for my item, and I was teaching my daughter how to be responsible and also to learn how to shop. She only brought with her one dollar, and the merchandise may have been a dollar just wanted to make sure it was categorized as food since so many food items are not taxable. So, I asked the cashier to check, and she was unprofessional in her behavior and attitude towards my daughter. Not cool. On a positive note, this supermarket has lots of parking and reserved parking for wheelchair-accessible transportation and wheelchair-accessible entrance. I did not need to use the restroom, so not sure if one was present.

Came to the W. Babylon Stop and Shop for a quick thing. However this location was super clean and well organized. The couple of employees I encountered were friendly and greeted me with a smile. No one was head down in their phones…very nice to see, other locations I have seen a bit to much of that. Well done W.Babylon Location.

There is a man walking around this store harrasing people for money and then goes to buy lotto tickets with the harassed money he gained from paying customers. Last night my wife was made to feel very unsafe by this harrasing, intimidating gambler last night due to this guy Harrasing and following my wife. When asked about the guy Harrasing paying customers we are told he is harmless. In my eyes this is not a harmless thing if my wife is scared to go grocery shopping due to a strange man following and asking for money, because the manager wants to allow this kind of rif raf to hang around the store and Harras paying female customers. I do not feel this is right to allow this. I hope this review helps bring this to light. I really hope this situation is dealt with quickly.

I visited this place on Thanksgiving morning to conveniently pick up groceries, I simply shopped online the night before! I parked, rep came out packed my car for me"Smooth Sailing" Gr8 experience.. will do again🤗

The strawberries were SWEET and seafood salad was freshly made and tasty. Clean store and helpful cashier at the self checkout
