We tried out the winery on the recommendation of a friend. We didn't do a tasting, but headed straight for the patio. The inside was packed to a degree where it was uncomfortable and we couldn't find any space. We landed a beautiful spot and had some great music. We ordered the pizza and a bottle of rose. The reason why I wouldn't give this place five stars....the pizza crust was burnt and the rose was okay (doesn't blow you away).

Visited this winery with a group of 15 people as part of a winery tour. The place was absolutely beautiful. However I believe the patio area is reserved only for members of the winery so we were standing at tables (when only one table on the patio area was occupied). Additionally, surprisingly I wasn’t the biggest fan of the wine, even though this is one of the most popular wineries. My favourite was the Big Red, but besides that, no big contenders.

Hidden on the West Bank by the water, this is a gem... Not only can you do your wine tasting by the lake but the food is really really good. From Bistro to full service, your choice. Pizza are a must if you are a Pizza lover. In the winter they offer the bubble experience, quite the scenery. Their wines are really surprising. We love the different whites that were so distinct in taste. Our favourite was the Baronesse and the The Premier.

We were fortunate to be accommodated for a tasting at Frind without a reservation. Our host was busy and divided between several groups but still did her best to be attentive. She was very friendly! Some wines at Frind were less to my taste than others I tried this weekend, but that's not to disparage them. We did still find some particularfavourites and left with three bottles. I know many people who adore Frind's wines, and rightly so! The winery itself is gorgeous, as is the lakeside setting. At the end of a hot and busy day, a particular highlight for us was relaxing on Annie's patio with a delicious roast chicken pizza. The peppers were perfection! We'll definitely check out Frind again.

Excellent wine tasting experience! Our wine server was informative and friendly! We bought a few bottles lol. We went around the back to check out the patio that faces the lake. Spectacular views all around!! Wines we tasted were delicious!! A definite visit to go back next time we are in West Kelowna!

Tasting fee is $10.00/person (for 5 pours) but the fee is waived with a purchase of a bottle. Our pourer was friendly but didn’t like how she tried multiple times to push the wine club on us and didn’t state how much their tasting fee was upfront. They also don’t have it anywhere on their tasting sheet. We tasted: - 2019 Big white - 2021 Viognier - 2021 Rosé - 2020 Premier cabernet franc - 2020 Midnight Sweet, beach side views at Frind but unspectacular wines.

Beautiful winery! We went for a tasting and it was a fantastic experience. The wines were all delicious. They also allow dogs on the patio (and even provided a water bowl!) which was lovely. Highly recommend a visit!

Absolutely loved this place. Vineyard is around 5 years old (in 2022), and the whole estate is beautifully built and appointed. The wines were also amazing and we found all of them to be smooth and very enjoyable. The views are also spectacular. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Kelowna.

The only winery on the water to my knowledge! They are family friendly, and cater to all! They have a pizza oven, a beautiful cafe called Annie’s with great selection, and the winery is bustling! It has boat and car access (so it’s own dock) and the wine is good! $10 tasting but that’s free if you buy a bottle! They have seating at the beach, the patio, inside… they also have live music… it’s a must to have on your list!

Came for coffee and pastries and stayed for pizza because of Terri’s incredible service. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area, the winery, the cuisine. Friendly, and accommodating. Available but not hovering in our space. The perfect type of service that you rarely see anymore. Highly recommend!!

Yesssss! The service and wine and experience here are EXCEPTIONAL! I am thoroughly pleased. This winery is still only 3 years old and is the only beach front winery in North America. But that’s not all 😏 the staff are all so kind and accommodating and all the wine we have tried has been so good. Cannot wait to visit this winery again.

Frind is one of my favourite wineries along the wine trail. You are always greeted like an old friend at the front door, and their tasting pouring are quite generous. They have a little cafe on the side which serves pizza, coffees, pastries etc. and everything is made from scratch. What I love most about the place though, is the ability to sit outside by the fire pit, or by the sandy beach and have a glass of wine with friends. I recommend!

Cool to be in Bill Bennett's old house (now the winery) I think there is a wine here for everyone 🙂 Our sommelier seemed disinterested in us at first, but warmed up as we went along. Visited for the first time on Wed, with a table full of lovely business ladies. The view IS incredible, the server was fantastic. I truly enjoyed the Big White wine and the Big Red as well. My veggie wood fire pizza, with added prosciutto was very tasty. All in all a great experience - Highly recommend.

Don’t miss out Frind estate winery if you come to Okanagan. This is a dog friendly place where you can chill with your dog on the patio and enjoy the wine with beach vibes.
