👍 The beer is great and the venue is really nice. The pizza is great, nachos okay, but the guacamole is not good. Also, when the place is full it is loud enough that you have to yell to the person next to you to have a conversation. It’d be great if they put in some sound proofing material on the ceil... People often mention great, pizza, beer, happy, hour, good, staff, experience, beers, service,

The beer is great and the venue is really nice. The pizza is great, nachos okay, but the guacamole is not good. Also, when the place is full it is loud enough that you have to yell to the person next to you to have a conversation. It’d be great if they put in some sound proofing material on the ceiling or walls to help reduce the volume.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Stopped in for lunch, I don’t drink but was happy with the non alcoholic options. My friends and I all got pizzas and they were great. Would recommend if in the area, a great venue very laid back.

Lovely purpose built tasting room, albeit in a weird location. Very friendly staff and great selection of beers. Flights are very well presented, addition of chips and hummus much appreciated. Would recommend ☺️

This is the place to go for good beer, good food and amazing staff. They treat people like family and are always so welcoming. This place turned in to our hang out because of how they treat us and our friends.

Had our company Christmas party on Saturday. Well well well, what can I say. First off, the basement is an amazing cozy space. Beautiful, light and warm. The food and service was top notch Couldn't have had a better place to celebrate with everyone, thank you! **rumnoggs were spectacular

Best gluten free pizza crust we ever had!! They also offer vegan cheese, since our diets restrict us to no dairy and gluten. Even that is hard to find so we love they accommodate but not only that…they do a phenomenal job. YUM!

Great local brewery! They didn't have anyone booked for the basement and let us and our kids have the place to ourselves. The ping pong table was a huge hit, as was the apple brie pizza and beer flights (my fave was was the pomegranate sour).

Great marketing, sub-par experience. We came as a group hoping for a cool brewery experience. The beers are good, but a few kinds were sold out. The food was a disappointment, and it’s a recipe/ownership issue not a kitchen staff issue. While the pizza was okay, (though not amazing for the +$20 price tag for a small), the Mexican type items were mediocre quality similar to food court Mexican but double the price. Any of the Mexican style items were made with bland, store-bought flavouring that was all the same. The taco “salad” which took the longest is just cold rice and beans, packaged guacamole without any lettuce or tomatoes (how is this salad?), and lame sprinkle of cheese. The “fresh juicy prawns” were not recognizable as prawns. The reviews we saw did not reflect the quality; nothing service staff could have done to improve this situation.

From the top down, Owners to brewers to kitchen staff and servers, this place is absolutely phenomenal!!! My wife and I had our wedding at Lakesider after being regulars there for over a year and was absolutely blown away with the care and dedication they all took to make our night flawless in every way. Do yourself a favour. Perch up, buy a pint, take a sip and a look around and try not to crack a smile, I dare you. Cheers all

Came in on Sunday night and couldn’t have made a better choice. Food and beers were great but the service was over the top! despite our first impression of Jeff (he wasn’t in a staff uniform) you can tell he takes pride in his job. he was informative of the menu and incredibly genuine. Can’t wait to come back!

Decent beer, but definitely bonus points for including some chips and hummus with a flight. We inadvertently visited during a live music night and the ambiance was lovely!

I love this place. For a celiac they have a bunch of options, and the staff do well minimizing cross contamination. Would highly recommend the pizza and wings.

Excellent pizza and venue for a beverage and a visit. We've also hosted school PAC meetings in the basement (full meeting area with full service). Nice patio and great location. The brie and apple pizza is to die for! They also have wine, not just beer.

What a great time in a quiet neighborhood. Nice patio and the inside is super inviting. Food was excellent and a great selection of GF. And 2 different local GF beers. Beer list on tap was a good variety. We will be back!

A beautiful facility. Very clean. Dog friendly, which is a nice little bonus. While I did not enjoy my food, the spinach dip, my boyfriend devoured every last bit of his pizza. He said it was delicious! The service was, I guess average, for a brewery. All in all a decent experience.

First note, I would welcome management to contact me regarding this review. I have been here many times and have enjoyed the food, beverages and atmosphere. I came here today with friends to enjoy Happy Hour as that is what we do all around both West Kelowna and Kelowna together to celebrate our life and friendship. I convinced my girls to try Lakesider and unfortunately our visit today was less than stellar. My group arrived ahead of me at 2:45 and were not told about any happy hour menu or drinks or specials or anything of the likes that might have been in existence. Unfortunately, as it turns out, Lakesider does not offer any wines in their happy hour which, as a note to the owner or management, is not very smart considering that wineries even offer alternate drinks on their happy hour menus just in case someone doesn't enjoy wine and thus at lakesider they might offer a wine or two on their happy hour menus as some of us are not able to enjoy beer. We planned to order nachos to share then order a few pizzas and enjoy beverages and each other's company but that is not what happened. Our waitress/server was definitely an inexperienced one, not good with people, did not explain what and what wasn't on the happy hour menu, we had to actually ask for those menus after I mentioned to my party that there was an actual happy hour menu. She was not forthcoming nor helpful and definitely rubbed my party (of industry) the wrong way. (* Please place glasses gently on tables when delivering them to customers, do not drop them a quarter way down for them to spill all over, it seems aggressive and generally is not received well by paying customers). Nutshell version, we finished our plate of nachos and left but even that cost was $100 which shouldn't have happened at 3:30pm in the afternoon. We don't penny pinch during our get togethers but there's just certain etiquette and rules that go along with Okanagan happy hour and this just didn't coincide with our expectations. We left and went over to Mt. Boucherie where they know how to operate a proper Happy Hour. If you've taken the time to read this far, then I would definitely suggest you check out Lakesider for a beer flight and supper but in terms of a happy hour, an Okanagan institution, go elsewhere for appies, wine and other drinks like craft beers and specialty beverages to cater to ALL the members of your party. As we sat at Mt Boucherie I told all the members of my group that I hoped todays experience wouldn't deter them from checking out Lakesider at another time to enjoy the yummy pizza and to have a better experience overall. In essence, I should have given this experience one star but due to the fact that 2 of my friends enjoyed their beer and the nachos were good, three stars it was.

We had an exceptional experience for our first time here tonight. The beers were tasty and the food was delicious. Amy was our server and she went above and beyond. She had an authentically sweet personality. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
