A wonderful park with plenty of lake access, dog beaches, swimming area and a scenic trail. A lot of prickly pear cactus keep your dogs on the trail or in the lake.

Hidden gem of a park on Kelowna's west side. Great views of the lake from the hiking trails. Cool feature of "Miner Bees" on one part of the trail.

One of my favorite places to walk my dog. The main access via Collins Hill has a gate that is often closed in the winter (probably because the road down to the small parking lot is quite steep and would be treacherous in the snow) but the trails can be accessed on either end by the Sunnyside or Casa Loma neighborhoods (limited street parking) or off of Collins Road. The lower trail is fairly wide and follows the lake and has vault toilets and trash cans midway (please pick up after your dog!). There is a unfenced dog beach area (a bit more natural -no sandy smooth beach here) - this is the only off-leash area. The upper trail is very narrow but has beautiful views. Watch out for patches of a prickly pear low growing cactus - they will get stuck in your dog's paws- they are in a few areas just off the upper trail. Note that these trails tend to get quite busy in summer and on weekends. Also a nice place to launch your kayak with a dock that has a launch for handicapped (only in the summer).

I've lived here for close to 15 years and that has helped me to get close to nature and enjoy our natural resources always keeping in mind to leave no trace behind and try and make as little impact as possible respecting all life equally. This park is perfect for a time-out no matter the weather.

Lovely beach area with on and off leash dog beaches too! Lots of space to set up for the day with garbages and washrooms. Floating dock that is great to swim out to. Parking lot is small and can fill up fast but definitely worth a visit and swim.

Beautiful nice loop trail to walk with kids and doggy. Not too many people and path was well maintained. Just be careful that there are many tiny cactus rolling on the side of path and our puppy stepped onto few of them. It was quite painful to remove them as well.

I love coming here. Has dog friendly parts of the beach as well. Will say that it is pretty rocky in the dog area, and boats like to drive a little too close and make a lot of waves, but its nice to have a dog beach that isn't covered in geese!

No one should go here. Dangerous cacti and addictive hikes and beaches. Keep out.

Small cozy beach with full sunny spots, and few with a natural shades from trees. Water is clean, and also is pretty shallow - good for kids. First few meters has rocky bottom.

One of the best dog beaches and short, yet beautiful walking trails. When the flowers bloom in spring it's stunning.

A favourite place to take the dogs and myself for a swim/paddle. Lots of options for the dogs either to the left or right of the public beach. If you are planning to swim at the dog friendly parts of the beach, I would suggest bringing water shoes. Parking here is usually pretty full, but if you just hang and wait 5-15 min, someone is usually leaving. Nice trails throughout the park as well. This spot is a gem.

Great place for a family to walk along the water, with swimming dock, gravel beaches. Very limited parking, fills up early in summer. You can park at the top and walk down but it is quite a steep, long descent.

Nice small beach, bit rocky and not sheltered from waves. Clean and relatively quiet though
