I'm a little bias because this is the lake I grew up around. First visited in 93' when I was in elementary and I'm so glad it hasn't changed much since. I've visited countless times and always get a sense of nostalgia when I walk through this park. Winter is great for skating, pond hockey and ice fishing. Other seasons are great for a short stroll, dog walk or canoeing. It really is an amazingly peaceful place to spend an afternoon.

Very nice park with a little pond/lake where you can go fishing! Apparently there are bass and perch and it is stocked with rainbows. I have not caught anything here but my insert is there are lots of catchable fish. Perhaps one needs a little boat to get off shore and increase the chances of catching?

Bathrooms benches and wild ducks around people fishing off the docs they re stock fish every years may I belive . Kids love the short walk to the lake . Handy cap parking available and paved walk way to the lake . You can walk further though grass around the lake but in paved ;)

Shannon lake has picnic tables, clean bathrooms, great dock to fish off of. Stocked pond great for kids fishing.

Beautiful little spot. Good for a short walk to just to GET OUT of the HOUSE. or grab a fishing pole and try your luck. And if that isn't your thing, there are one picnic table and a grassy hill or 2 if you feel like getting back to a better life

What a pretty lake and walking pathway. We did snow sledding here too.

Cute spot, plenty of tables for a picnic. Lots of kids like fishing off the dock for carp, bass, and perch.

Beautiful and clear lake.

Neighbourhood year round fishing hole that is a great place to visit just for it's beauty alone.

People were fishing and catching some nice Rainbow Trout. While I was there I saw an otter and a Turtle.

Nice to dog for quick walk , or catch a fish ., usually just small bas but there are bigger ones also trout and perch .

Perfect for a fishing outing with the little ones, picnic area and washrooms were great.

Overall nice place. Facilities: They have bathrooms, but my only complaint is that sometimes they have little to no toilet paper. Walk ways/paths: Very nice with clear areas to walk and very clean with railings as well. Benches and seating: there is a couple benches that are clean as well. Lake its self: Very nice lake to bring the family to NOT FOR SWIMMING its not clean water. The fishing its self is ok i have seen massive fish but it is pretty hard to catch a fish here and also nice ice fishing as well. Also some nice pond hockey in the winter. OVER -ALL Nice lake for family and friends, be prepared for it to very crowded.
