πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is a great hike around Mount Boucherie. There is a well worn path that is a simple hike. The hike to the top is of moderate difficulty. The paths are easy to find but are not marked with their difficulty. The views are amazing. People often mention hike, Boucherie, views, trails,

Rewarding view of Kelowna atop the approximately 275 m first peak of Mount Boucherie. Relatively hidden trail entrance in residential side lane. Unmarked trails, although most intuitively leads to the peak. Low traffic trails. Known site of rattlesnakes.

Some super fun bouldering, if your into climbing, about a 10 minute walk in. Very nice forested trails. Good for on leash dogs. No washroom. Decent amount of parking. No playground. Good for families. Mild trails. Use maps to find, it's at the back of a confusing subdivision. A really nice place I will go back often and look forwards to exploring it more.

Great place to start your hike or just have a picnic. This hidden little gem starts off fairly high up the side of the mountain so not as much climbing to get a great view. Wonderful spot to look for birds and other subjects to photograph. West Kelowna has many small parks like this on the Lakefront or near Powers Creek. Parking and clearly marked trails. Enjoy with a friend or in a small group that wants fresh air and exercise. Okanagan Wolfman β˜†Approvedβ˜†

Less well known and less busy way up Mt Boucherie. Starts in small gravel parking lot on dead-end street. Unfortunately you now find yourself on the edge of construction of a high end home development before heading up Mt Boucherie. Moderate hike with some sections of loose gravel (I recommend poles) until you get to the top of a ridge with views looking towards the lake and the bridge. There are connecting paths that will take you to the popular Mt Boucherie overlook (not marked) No facilities on this trail or in the park. Pretty in wildflowers season as area near parking lot is more of a meadow. Dogs on leash although many don't follow this. Bears have been spotted here.

A truly beautiful walk. Features a few ways to get to the top of the mountain. Watch out for possible snake sightings and snails, especially after a rain event.

Delighted to find this hike in amongst the wineries on the west side of Kelowna. Didn't do the full hike but estimate an hour round trip to the top. Very cool looking terrain and views of the lakes. There are clear signs indicating rattlesnakes in the area so stay away if you are timid of snakes.

Great but we did see some rattlesnakes so prepare for that if you don't like snakes

It's not really a park you come to visit for the sake of the park, but it is the best trailhead to Boucherie. There is also a nice view of the lake from this park.
