I was in Kelowna on route to Nanaimo, my car a 70 Monte Carlo with a Turbo 400 was having issues after it was recently serviced in Wpg.. I stopped in at Dales to discuss the problems. He is very busy but took the time to listen to trans problems. After he also said he could take a look at my car a few days later.. I showed up a few days later at 8 am, luckily he was able to remedy the issues and got me back on the road ! Amazing and grateful for his knowledge and personal service. He would be the first person I would contact for further issues with any of my cars for transmission problems.

Dale diagnosed my vehicle....it wasn't my transmission that was the problem. It was a sensor that needed changing. I would definately recommend to all my friends. Friendly, fast, efficient and honest. Thank you.

Dale is the consummate professional, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to solving transmission issues (in my instance a 2007 Nissan Xterra). The fact that he and his wife Darlene are also super nice, accommodating and hard working folks just adds to reason why AATC is the place to go in the Okanagan area. I got referred to Dale from a friend who had dealt with this shop before, and I am very pleased that I took their recommendation. Dale bullet proofed my e40d transmission for an extremely reasonable price and it came with an excellent warranty, even better then the warranty a ford dealership would offer. Dale was quick to work me into his schedule and got it done. I highly recommend giving Dale a visit in West Kelowna for diagnostic or repair work.

I went to Advanced when my vehicle all of a sudden had no reverse! Never a good thing. Dale and his business were highly recommended by 3 mechanic friends I talked to. He was very busy but open, honest and despite dealing with delays for parts, he kept in communication and talked me through what was wrong, what was needed and what he needed to do to make things right. He warranties his work and is just a straight shooter. I feel safe driving the vehicle, look forward to a nice road trip and am happy to refer others to get their transmission work done here.

I took my vehicle in expecting a bill that would require my legs and torso too. What I got was an honest mechanic who tried the cost-effective repair first and explained to me the reasons why he thought that might be all it needs. He refilled my fluid and suggested a seal but said “wait a week, if the refill of fluid doesn’t fix it, we’ve got a bigger problem and I won’t do a bandaid fix, I’ll take care of the whole transmission, but I don’t want to replace a transmission if you don’t need it”. I was sent here because another mechanics shop sent me here recommending a torque converter replacement. It wasn’t that, and he didn’t just repair what was asked, he walked me through a repair that made him less money but solved my problem. They put their customers first. An expected bill of $3500 became $385.00 and he saw the car twice and worked on it for multiple hours. Incredible family owned local company. I highly recommend this establishment!

Dale was very knowledgeable about my vehicle and the issue it was having. He was very upfront and honest and provided great insight into what was causing my issue. I would not hesitate to have him work on any of my vehicles. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and inviting. Great team all around!

After getting the run around at Dodge for weeks with our transmission we headed over to Dale at Advance. He totally rebuilt our transmission in a very reasonable time frame at a very fair price! We will recommend this amazing shop to everyone we know!

Incredible customer service. I am from out of town and work up North. AAT re-built my transmission for me over the holidays as I was flying out of Kelowna. Their customer service far exceeded what I am used to in this industry. Dale ensured that once my transmission was out, my truck was towed to a second shop for other work that needed to be done while the transmission was being rebuilt. He managed everything for me and was kind enough to respond to my texts outside of working hours. After returning from my trip, I noticed a clunk in my driveline. Dale assisted me in troubleshooting over the phone during his personal time and when the issue could not be resolved by another shop, he fit my truck in and identified the problem for me. All my transmission work will be done at AAT from this point forward. I cannot overstate how impressed I was with the service I recieved. If you are reading reviews as I did to determine what shop to use, look no further.

I wish my experience was like these other reviews but it turned out my vehicle was not diagnosed properly and after 3 weeks of leaving my car here, it turned out it wasn’t my transmission at all. It ended up costing me $800 in parts that I didn’t need. The diagnostic tests did not show any result but it was taken apart anyway. I’m disappointed but got an apology from the owner who is a very nice man. I sincerely hope this never happens to anyone else.
