This is the worst ER hospital . My grand baby went there. They sent her home with the flu, no correct diagnosis. She was admitted in another hospital a day later with the flu and a infectious disease. Not to mention one of the nurses. Blonde, white, heavy set nurse that has the audacity to ask my son is he or his child’s mother had Aids or Hepatitis C before she took off her gloves. Unthinkable that people like this work in a hospital. I have called without response to report this. RIDICULOUS AND DEPLORABLE!!

Horrible care for the elderly. They have no answers and did not point it out to me, how my mother obtained so many dark bruises on her legs over one night stay and discharged in the morning. That is incompetent. What if it was a strangers house, and a relative was bruised all over the legs, it would be looked at as possible abuse. No explanation from the hospital. AGAIN, how did this happen!????

Waited almost 3 hours for a head scan for a possible brain hemorrhage, and still hadnt been seen while others were taken back that showed up before and after me. Good thing it wasnt something major, coulda died in the ER waiting.

Took my 8 month old there. He's been sick over a 1 month. Took his vitals and temp when we came but did not before we left and we was there for 5 hours. I live 20 min away by the time I got home he was running a fever. I was upset they didn't check him before leaving. I Called the er and 2 nurses hung up the phone and was rude to me. Even left a vmail to manager and never called me back.

We did not have a good experience and would not pick this hospital again. The ER phase was alright. We waited a long time but received the help we needed. The visitor’s bathroom was filthy with blood all over the floor. But the doctors were helpful and the nurses were alright. Our worst phase came when my husband was moved to the third floor. I can’t even begin to describe our experience there. None of the nurses were engaging or kind. They just did their jobs. My husband needed some friendliness and reassuring. None came but he was looked after physically. Other issues happened too long and bothersome to describe but an attending physician ended up apologizing for all the lack of communication and for the mis-communication. At discharge nobody came exc wheelchair transport and we were not able to say a goodbye to anyone nor did any staff say a word to us. They were all MIA. May be just super busy. We were just shocked at the whole experience. The ONLY thing that was a pleasant surprise was a pastor over the intercom sharing a kind prayer for patients, family, and staff. That did us good and happened twice a day.

One of the worst pediatric ERs I’ve been too. My 6 year old could have died. They waited to long to administer medication. Ignored medical history as a former established patient. Ran unnecessary test. Blamed a virus. Gave medications to treat virus till the realized they messed up.

I had back surgery in August 2022 by Dr. Jeffrey Roberts. Dr. Roberts, the PACU, Surgical Staff, Anesthesia, Physical Therapy, Lab and Nurses were outstanding! I had a great preparation and surgical experience. Dr. Roberts fully explained my procedures, and spent time talking with me, so I was prepared for my surgery! I was treated with compassion, professionalism, knowledge and respect by Dr. Jeffrey Roberts, his staff, and the entire hospital team! I would give them ten (10) stars if it were possible!

Was transported by ambulance in crucial abdominal pain , upon arrival in their emergency room the entire experience could not have been handled any better in my honest opinion... The Dr. did not hesitate to administer pain meds as my discomfort was obvious and apparent..( regardless of my history) I was treated with respect and dignity.... after maybe less than an hour was taken for a cat scan and a half hour later I had a surgeon by my bedside explaining everything in detail and even basically demanding my surgery take precident over a non life threatening procedure,as to assure she did everything in her power to ensure the best outcome possible during my Time -critical procedure ( which mind you had to do with restoring blood circulation back to my twisted intestine in hopes of saving as much damage as possible) before administering anesthesia was informed I may be losing some intestine ( which was scary) but shown the utmost compassion from the surgeon herself, that made me as reassured as possible... Dr.Voiculescu ,I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did that day!!!! I'd also like to testify that I didn't have to lose any intestines and had the best possible outcome, considering my situation!

My daughter had a baby girl in the Maternity Wing on Friday March 10th. They were amazing and wonderful for our experience with delivery and professionalism!! I can't say enough about how perfect our labor and delivery went! The caring they showed is top notch. Thank you for helping our family bring in a perfect baby girl 🩷

Very rude employees. Even racist against suburban people...shall I say. My stitches got infected while my stay there and they could care less. One of the nurses busted open my stitches, too. My arm healed terribly. You can literally see the stitch marks- one year late- as if I'm Frankenstein. I do NOT even understand why such a hospital as unclean, unfriendly and unintelligent of employees would even be in Westlake!

Had my first mammogram at age 33 yesterday. I was extremely terrified about it all. Everyone at the breast center was amazing and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Toni who did my mammogram was so professional and comforting. I apologize for not remembering my ultrasound technicians name, but she was another breath of fresh air. The both together are a perfect match. I can't thank them both enough for everything yesterday.

The Pediatric Unit at Saint Johns Westlake! Your Staff all around made this the best hospital experience. My son Ellis was admitted Monday due to having a bad case of RSV. For a while it was unsure if we were going to be transferred to downtown campus and I am glad we didn’t! The entire staff here was terrific. They were personable, attentive, knowledgeable and Hands on. Honestly the care my son received here would probably not have been the same at main campus! Each of your staff members should be very proud of what they do! I enjoyed your staff and the atmosphere here that while spending the week here I have put in multiple applications because I would love to work here. So Barb,Keely, Caleb, Stephanie, Ashley, Dr. Safi and so many more people. I would like to thank you all so much for everything you have done! You all are amazing!!

I had a major operation and from the cleaning people, nurses, patient care assistants, and doctors this was the best experience. They sing the Lords prayer over the speakers and also pray during the day. I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Special shot out to my nurses. (Carli and Cathy) and the patient assistants Staci and Da'lexus ! I'm doing well and very happy with this hospital.

I have to have surgery every 3 months and the staff and doctors/nurses are very nice and joke around with me to ease the stress. I don't understand the bad reviews. My only opinion is you get what you give 🀷 I choose St John's every time.

My son went in with an abscess in his tooth and all he needed was some medication to get him through the next couple nights before a dentist. They looked at him as if he was a drug seeker. They lack compassion and are surely in it just for the job. DO BETTER ER DEPARTMENT. You guys should all be ashamed besides a few good nurses.. and I mean only a FEW. The floors are also disgusting!! It’s laughable.
