I recently dined at 34 Mayfair in London, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was extremely poor, and the staff were unprofessional in their interactions with customers. We experienced an unreasonable delay in receiving our orders, as it took more than 50 minutes for our food to arrive. This was incredibly frustrating and had a negative impact on our dining experience. The table we were seated at was incredibly small, barely able to accommodate more than one order. The staff did not offer any assistance in managing the limited space, which made the situation even more challenging. As for the taste of the food, it was below average. It seemed as though the presentation was the only focus, with little attention paid to the quality of the dishes themselves. This was a major disappointment, considering the reputation of the restaurant. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend 34 Mayfair to anyone. It is a shame that a restaurant with such potential failed to meet even the most basic expectations in terms of service, ambiance, and food quality.

Good food. Service above normal with attention to detail. Atmosphere as expected for Mayfair. The mandatory cover charge is insulting because when asked for an explanation it was explaining that it's to cover napkins and table preparation. All of the above should be included in the food price. For clarification none of cover charge goes to staff nor charity

An upper class location on mayfair. The menu is decent and drinks a good. I am not really sure if you need to make a reservation but you will welcomed on the door. Seems to be a good place for the night aswell.

My 1st visit this week and everyone was lovely from reception to the gentleman serving us. Food was very nice indeed and it was nice to see a menu that was a bit different for a change too. It was a business lunch and they accommodated our request of a quiet table and not near any kids which thankfully there were none. Will definitely be back

Unbelievably disappointed. I had waited all year to eat in 34 Mayfair amongst the famous Christmas decorations and I couldn't have been angrier and more upset by the end of the meal. After waiting over half an hour between the starter being cleared and the mains been served, as soon as the mains were cleared, we got told we had to leave and could not have dessert (or even look at the menu) by some very official man in a blazer. When expressing are upset upon this news, he told us our time on the table was up and there was no way we could have dessert, unless we were willing to sit outside (it was about 4 degrees). He then reappeared a few minutes later with the news that if we wanted to spend £80 upwards on 3 desserts, we could have the pleasure, but would have to vacate the table immediately after. At which point we kindly declined. On a £465 bill for two courses for 3 people, which included a £2 cover charge per person to just sit down and a £55 service fee, I would expect to be treated a little better! I wouldn't dream of ever returning. The food was up to speck but the service most certainly wasn't. Such as shame, especially as the server we had all evening at the table was really fantastic. The man in the blazer should work on his customer service skills!

Very nice decorative design. Staff not the best especially the waitresses one almost spilled the water on me but didn’t even apologize. None of the dishes we ordered was even delicious or worth the prices. Definitely not recommended for anyone to enjoy an up scale experience.

Wonderfully friendly establishment and my wife, son and I have been here many times. The welcome is genuine and they are fantastic with children. The menu is extensive and the quality is first class. I can’t wait for our next visit.

Had a lovely meal on the terrace. It was decorated beautifully. I loved the way all the staff uniforms were coordinated with the summer decor. The bread was lovely, fresh and warm. The food was full of flavour and I really enjoyed my meal. The plating and presentation was beautiful and the labneh really brought the dish together. Can also highly recommend the “Something Tropical” cocktail. Would have liked to see some further options for vegetarian main courses although the menu does change seasonally.

The ideal Christmas themes restaurant. Really nice feel to 34, cocktails were very nice and the food was good overall. Thought it was expensive for a lunchtime, specially as we had a few drinks at the bar which I had already paid for.

A lovely place, that came highly recommended on the basis of their outdoor terrace, and it didn't dissaponint in the summer evenings. Great menu selection with very good tasting food. The only issue is that you can only have a maximum of 4 on the outside terrace so if you have childeren it's a little tight. Staff very friendly and accomadating.

You can expect the highest standard of service at this restaurant, the most efficient, considerate and professional staff in london for sure . Despite not being one of the most expensive, they can easily destroy any restaurant in Mayfair with there standards . Huge well done to the training and efficiency . Also I am always amazed on how the host remembers me by name, even if you don’t have a booking they will try to accommodate you as they are actually interested in serving and making money! On to the food, I have some missing pictures but over the visits I have made I have managed to post the ones attached, they have a lovely lobster Mac and cheese, all the red meats are of the highest quality (wagyu or not) and even some interesting veg options like the sweet potato burger ! If your thinking of where to eat on a weekend brunch(outstanding menu) or just a weekday dinner, then I recommend 34,,, 34times!

We enjoyed our meal at Mayfair 34 very much and the service was on tip top form. The restaurant is well designed and the environment comfortable and classy with a live band playing jazz. The slight let down was the flavour of our rib eye which was slightly bland and over cooked so we couldn’t finish that. The other dishes were well executed. Please see photos.

Amazing Christmas decorations! The interior of the restaurant is beautifully covered in Christmas baubles, it feels very festive. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Very nice food, there are great options besides the steak - I can recommend the duck salad entree and lamb main. The chicken was also nicely cooked, but not as nice in my opinion as the lamb was.

Loved it! This place is gorgeous! The food was top quality, super delicious and well presented. The service was fabulous: our waiter was very kind , friendly and attentive. The menu is very attractive, barely stopped on just one main..but at least I know I will have to come back so I can try the rest of the delicious treats the restaurant offers. All staff we encountered was very smiley and we loved that. The food price I’d say was absolutely reasonable . For starter I had the octopus, the best I have ever eaten so far. I would only change the sauce to something that’s less heavy. My partner had the crab tart which was very yummy 🤤! For main I had the Cornish lamb rump, and again the best lamb I have ever eaten! It was so delicately cooked and well flavoured. We also tried the Monkfish chop which was very nice too ( I needed more sauce for it tho). The desserts were great and very tasty! Elegant restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff!

My friend wanted a night out to make her feel festive and this certainly hit the mark!! She is vegetarian and our original plan was to come for brunch where there would be plenty of choice for her, but lockdown put an end to that plan so we had to reschedule and come for dinner, meaning there were only 2 or 3 options, but I guess we couldn't expect more in a steak and seafood restaurant! The food was divine, the cocktails delicious and the the service was good - although we were asked what drinks we would like without being offered a wine list or cocktail menu (the same happened to the table next to us) and then a misunderstanding saw us brought 2 espressos instead of espresso martini's. This was quickly fixed by the lovely barman, though. Obviously not a cheap venue, being a steak restaurant in Mayfair, but I'd definitely be back for another special occasion.

We had a lovely 2022 Christmas lunch at 34 Mayfair, the Christmas decoration is stunning, food is great and quite pricey but it is worth it for great service and experience. We tried grilled tiger prawns with lime, soy and red chilli glaze for Starter, crispy duck for Salad, Rotisserie Suffolk chicken with potato and chicken gravy and Lobster mac n cheese with smoked mozzarella for main course and baked Christmas pudding fondant with Baileys custard for dessert.

I went for brunch and ended up getting the Sunday roast. Unfortunately, it was tasteless! The beef had no seasoning, the potatoes were dry and hard, the Yorkshire pudding was not fluffy. It was all very lack lustre. Didn’t bother to finish it so ended up getting dessert which was good! The chocolate & pistachio fondant with milk ice cream. This was tasty but my fondant didn’t fondant didn’t ooze and the ice cream was too small a potion for the fondant, it was just a small quenelle on the side of the plate. I think it needs to be a larger scoop to fully enjoy it with the font at before it melts and particularly considering the price point too! I had an the lychee blossom mocktail which was refreshing, very floral. Customer service was ok and the restaurant ambience was nice too.

Absolutely exquisite dining first class menu and flawless service. I visited for a friends birthday dinner in June 2023 and they had made a reservation. I found the whole experience great. The menu is varied with lots of choices for all pallets. Lots of fish meat and a great wine list. Service excellent and I highly recommend this for fine dining

First I would like to start with the reservation, I couldn’t reserve online and the one answered was so unfriendly. The food was outstanding, the best orders were burrata, corn soup, duck salad for lunch. Cheesecake and donuts for dessert are a must. The service was good, but the welcoming man was not friendly.

Everything from service, food, staff, decor to the whole of the ambience scores over 5 stars! No words are enough to describe the love and appreciation we feel for this place for making our wedding lunch event so very special. Each of guests haven’t stopped raving about it! From the point of the inquiry, Lauren the lady who helped us through arranging our entire event was super helpful. She made life so easy, especially putting up with our endless questions and being so humble to many changes from our side. Each and every staff including the manager at the restaurant are super professional and very friendly. Each dishes were executed with delicious flavours, making the dish look even better than Michelin stars ✨ The wine were favourites and the cheese cake is to die for! I highly recommend this place for any occasion and I know my friends, family and myself will soon be returning here!

Our wedding anniversary celebration at 34Mayfair in London was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The impeccable service, coupled with the elegant and romantic ambiance, set the perfect tone for our special evening. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary, with each dish thoughtfully crafted and bursting with exquisite flavors. The attention to detail and personalized touches made us feel incredibly special and truly enhanced our anniversary celebration. 34Mayfair is undoubtedly a top-tier dining destination, and we wholeheartedly recommend it for any memorable occasion.

Their food was the the star at this place. A good place for groups and business meetings. Though their service ain’t gonna be their selling point but it exists. Food was cleared off our table without us being asked, food was put on our table without being introduced. It’s a shame because the food was good! The scallops had a fusion kinda sauce which was so good we ordered more. We were 4 people; 1 serving of the scallops was 3 pcs, a good restaurant would normally ask if we would like to have 4 pieces instead but they did not and brought 3 more servings when we had ordered just 2 more as they said they could not do 4 pieces. I had the Korean spiced chicken which was delicious and my friends had the monkfish, sole fish and salmon and were all happy with it. The wine selection is quite extensive as well. I would love to go back there again for the food so I hope their service would get better!

Gave us the booking at 9pm when there is a curfew at 10pm, food took 30mins to arrive and when it was 9:45pm they were literally telling us to have our food take away while we are eating and kept on kicking us out, when there were a couple in front of us who just got their food at 9:45pm and they didn’t do the same to them, I felt very disrespected, when this evening was suppose to be special because I was celebrating my birthday. The food was overrated 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 would not recommend to go there

I’ve dined here more than my own kitchen! The restaurant that always welcomes with open arms ! Trusty 34 Mayfair can always be relied on for a good meal. Food is always enjoyable and the atmosphere is usually always busy for lunch or dinner with a stylish decor and seasonal efforts. The burger is truly unmatched and one of the cheapest items on the menu - a win win ! An In-house bar for before/after drinks although not regularly sat at by guests in my experiences. The terrace is a great spot in winter (heaters) or summer. Parking outside if you’re lucky and based in the heart of mayfair you’re just a few minutes walk from the sq.

The food here is great, such that we've raved about it for a whole year and decided to go back again and it didn't disappoint. Starters were a treat, scallops cooked perfectly and the steak tartare was a generous portion. For mains the lobster mac n cheese and chateaubriand were as good as we remembered, cooked just right and having amazing flavour. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. Generally the food service was attentive however the night was marred by the front of house. It was a busy night and appreciate this but there was no waiting area other than the bar which was also packed. Both areas you're spilling into diners trying to eat their dinner or getting shoved about by more customers and the staff going in and out to serve customers sat outside. Secondly, we were waiting over 45mins for a booked reservation and there was no acknowledgement from front of house of this other than to wait, as they didn't want to ask diners to leave (at our last visit we were asked to pay and leave when our allotted time was up). We had to ask numerous times and there was no apology just that it was what it was. Maybe during less busy periods, this isn't a problem but when it is, it could have been managed better.

The food is great, the service is great, the vibe is great. It's a fancy restaurant but not so stuck up at the same time. I found it to be a unique balance or classy, relaxed and great food. Try their pizza, Lobster cheese pasta and much more but you always have to end it the sweet way, with the special fluffy doughnut. 😍

The venue is wonderful for a Sunday brunch and all the little details about the seasonal decor are just beautiful. Service was great and very friendly and the food was nice too even though I’d say it’s on the pricey end for what it is (but then you partly pay for the location as well). Can highly recommend the doughnuts for desert! We had two cocktails which both tasted amazing and were really refreshing. Downside for me was definitely that it gets really busy during lunch (obviously not a surprise) but we had a table near the door and in front of the kitchen and with staff walking around there’s a lot of hustle and bustle. Overall it’s definitely a lovely place and I’d go again.

I absolutely love the location and the restaurant presentation. They definitely take care of all details from start to end during the entire experience there. I went there for lunch, and I've been welcoming by the host, who was also very friendly. We were four people, and we went first to the bar area and, after a drink at our table, were guided by a staff member. Anyway, excellent service, the food was incredibly delicious and nice looking composition. During the time at the table, we were served by a friendly waitress that gave us several recommendations about the food and details about the recipe. I def recommend this place, and I will probably go back.

Really, really bad service, but the food was utterly delicious. First, the waiters came to us every 30 seconds to order, and rolled their eyes as we were making our choice. The food arrived and we began eating as the table began rocking and the expensive wine started rolling. We couldn't get the attention of the waiters now! Finally a grumble bums rocked the table to ensure it were true, more wine everywhere! He proceeded to dive under the table next to my daughters thigh adjusting whilst wobbling the table more. No apology - I spoke to the manager, who squatted right next to me with his facemark not covering his nose and proceeded to tell me I would accept a desert in lieu, when a simple apology would do. I really, really loved the food, but what good is an excellent, outstanding chef without the front of house team to the same standard I ask.

Hired the private room upstairs for my wedding reception in October and it was amazing. We’d eaten in the main restaurant a few times before so knew it wouldn’t disappoint, but it surpassed my expectations! Group dining can sometimes be a bit unreliable in other places but this was absolutely top notch - food, wine and service were all impeccable and had many compliments from our guests. So glad we decided on here for our special day.

It has Boris doubles dangling from the outside and 16000 balls dangling from the roof. We had the set menu £20 ahead but the usual cover charge nonsense is added which is very poor. The crispy duck salad starter was a triumph of style over substance and steak frites slightly over salted but the cod was nicely cooked. A good choice of carafe wines tho overpriced. Final bill for 2 for lunch about £110. The last time i was there i sat opposite messrs Gill & Clarkson.

Stunning venue for brunch - Food is very pricey for what it is but the ambience and staff were great. Disappointed we didn't see any of the featured decorations/themes but perhaps that'll have justified the food price. Mocktail was fresh and aesthetically pleasing. Can get overcrowded in the front desk especially when people are arriving and people also getting their coats.
