This tiny restaurant is really lovely place to have dinner. Superb food, small but imaginative menu with a good range of choices. Quite magical ambiance and surroundings. You will have to book most evenings but you can drop in and take pot luck. Quite expensive but worth every penny. We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal or been less than delighted with the service. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous French restaurant that is warm, welcoming and with great service. I have dinned here on a couple of occasions and will always return when in the area. The food has always been cooked to perfection with a great selection of French wines. The cost of the menu is insanly good value for money as the food is outstanding and always a great selection.

L'Aventure is one of the most charming, welcoming, simple, cozy, and elegant restaurants I have ever been to. Mme. restaurateur could not be warmer or more gracious. Her kitchen turns out the standards, and a few lightly innovative variations, impeccably. Truly an underappreciated gem of the London dining scene.

Outstanding French fare, great service and a really nice European vibe - the onion tart and the monkfish special were delicious, and the veal and the quail were very good too. Desserts were good, though not as good as the savoury dishes. Really nice staff and loved their playlist as well as their selection of wines! Will be back.

A cozy intimate French bistro just down Abbey Road that has very reasonable prices, a lovely staff and garden setting and excellent cuisine. Highly recommended

This restaurant is a real find! Warm welcome by the owner and amazing food. Excellent Gallic wine. Very rarely have I tasted such superb cuisine. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

L'Aventure offered a truly exceptional dining experience. The onion tart, with its perfect cooking and balanced goat cheese, was a unique and delightful starter. The main course, featuring the exceptional veal, was a feast for both the palate and the eyes with its remarkable presentation. What's worth noting is that L'Aventure follows a set menu format, allowing you to choose between various combinations. You can opt for a starter and a main course, or go for the full experience with a starter, main course, and a delectable dessert, like the phenomenal apple tart. While L'Aventure may be on the pricier side, the quality, presentation, and range of options in the set menu make it unquestionably worth the investment for a truly unforgettable culinary journey.

Went to L'Aventure in May for my son's B'day and we loved every second of our time. The food, the ambience and the whole experience was a pleasure. We will be going back. My favourite French restaurant in London and the deserts are truly fab French style.

I have been to L'Aventure a few times and it is consistently very good - fairly classic French food, good service, excellent wines, owner on premises most of the time and very nice - not cheap but toally reliable high standards

A hidden gem in St.Johns Wood with the best authentic French cuisine that I've tried in London. Lovely, cosy and warm atmosphere with a wonderful owner that will always make you feel welcomed and at ease. Delicious food and delightful experience guaranteed every time :)

Lovely ambience. Lovely food. I would have given 5 stars but one small negative was my main course wasn't very hot.

Four of us meet there for lunch once a year, and did so today. Just a lovely place to meet in, to be in, to eat in and to be looked after in. The food and the cooking are wonderful and the way in which one is received and treated a total delight. Life-enhancing.
