Lots of places make burgers. Most are just average. Some places gonoutvif their way to change things up. This place is AWESOME. Great meat makes great burgers! They have a nice variety of options all added to a phenomenal party of meat. Big selection of craft beers on tap. We go out if our way to eat here whenever passing through. Rajun Cajun burger is pictured. Be sure to try the fresh cut fries.

We stopped for burgers. We ordered a cheeseburger and a California burger. Both were cooked to order. It came very quickly. Fries were both good, regular and shoestring, although I would rather the shoestring next time. The regular fries came out very oily looking. The sauces were fantastic on the California. Our server was polite and friendly, very smiley! The music in the place sucked. Too loud. Not my taste. Only complaint was the music really.

5 out 5 stars. Best burgers in the Wausau, WI area. Service is great. Atmosphere is hopping. Mouth watering burgers and the fresh cut fries are second to none. Highly recommend!! And the nachos are Yum!!

Great atmosphere very cool 😎 nice place lots of drinks 🍻🍻 to pick from. menu has a great variety to choose from. loved it I'm going back. have to try more. there burgers are just perfect. right amount of ingredients. burger to bun ratio perfect. The fries seasoned perfectly and hand cut home made. just excellent I highly recommend oooo and the cheese curds seriously better than the fair for real a must try

We knew the food was going to be amazing as soon as we walked in. It smelled so good and the atmosphere was just as great. Delicious fresh food and prompt friendly service. We especially enjoyed the “extras” for burgers because, unlike some places, everything was customizable.

Fun bar , voted best burger for many years ( although we didn't have one , just passing thru ) Cheese curds were awesome though !

As someone who is out of town, I try and find good places to eat and destress. The staff is amazing. Always helpful and accommodating. While the week I spent here was short, I will always remember the people here who made my visits memorable.

Very busy. When we arrived there were no tables available. After about 10-15 minutes a table inside opened up and were able to take it. Food was delicious, and depending on how busy they are, it can get loud inside. Overall was an okay experience. I ordered the burger of the month.

Staying in town for a youth baseball tournament and chose this place because it was near hotel... Got lucky. This place is great! Really good selection of beers on tap (~35). Wide variance of types of draft beers. They're active on Untapp'd so easy to find something you like or want to try for the 1st time. The food was really good and very, very reasonable in these post Covid times of ridiculous prices. Hamburgers taste fresh, buns fresh, ingredients fresh, interesting burger variations, numerous add-ons that are downright cheap (add a fried egg for $0.69!). Special burger of the day etc. All very good. The coolest thing is they make their own fries out of fresh potatoes right behind the bar. Order some fries, watch the guy cut it, spiral it, sting it... Whatever type u order, makes it right there. Lots of flavor-shakes that they can add and multiple fry 'dipping sauces' also. Overall a really positive, impactful experience. Wish they were closer to home!

Had the cheese burger with provolone and added pulled pork to it and it was very tasty! I did add a seasoning to the shoestring fries (parmesan garlic) and I think I would have preferred them without. I did take the top bun off because it was a lot of bread and it helped with the taste-in my opinion. It’s a nice place to stop and eat and is handy if you’re traveling through since it’s right off of the highway.

Highly recommend the cheese curds, burgers, and fresh cut fries with beer cheese sauce. A lot of locally sourced ingredients; which is amazing! The staff was friendly, and it really felt like I was at home here. We’ll definitely be stopping on our way to and from the twin cities! Thanks for being awesome!

Got the Rajun' Cajun burger, double patty. The sandwich had ZERO flavor. There's not a chance they even put salt on the burger. Just balnd ground beef between bread. I was very disappointed as this was supposed to be the best place to get a burger around here. Very good selection of beer, cheese curds were delicious too. . won't be back for dinner, drinks and apps we'll definitely be back though.

What else can I say, this is my favorite restaurant in the area! The best burgers in town with the perfect size menu. They do burgers, fries and beers and they do it well. The burger of the month is always fun and they have the best curds I’ve ever had. Yes the location is small, but they have quick turnover and speedy take out! Consistently affordable, delicious food and friendly service. They even have a rewards program!

It was PACKED when I got there. We took the last 2 seats. The menu is small but that's cuz they only make a handful of quality burgers. The food is great as far as gourmet burgers is concerned. Plus you know and feel like your money is going toward your local community rather than a corporate entity. Pretty loud in there so if you're looking for a more intimate location to relay that fake story to your date then this is not the spot for you. If you wanna relate that TRUE story to the love of your life then this is the genuine place for you. Prices are pretty good.

Love this place. The staff are cordial and effecient. Love the burgers, several creative options, great toppings and the bacon is excellent. Don't pass on the freshly made chips, several seasoning to choose from. Hands down the best burger I have had in the area.

Went here due to 4.7 review. The lady who served me was very pleasant, the service was very quick, but the burger was seriously lacking taste, and the patty was way too small for the bun. I did enjoy the natural cut fries. Build a better tasting, better sized, burger and I will definitely try again.

Very nice place for a great burger with even better service. I only wish I remembered to take a photo of my meal. It looked so good I couldn’t wait. The beer selection is amazing and it’s served very cold. All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. I’ll be back.

Highly recommend the 1919 root beer on tap. All burgers are fantastic and priced well. No price gouging here, just a great atmosphere and well thought out burgers. Cajun flavoring on the fries is good too ;)

WHERES THE BEEF. Been here a lot, the last 4 times I received this tiny burger. Please charge me more just fill the bun. Otherwise service was fantastic and food is very good tap beer selection is awesome. Tommy was our waiter and did an excellent job.
