The pancakes are amazingly fluffy, beautiful and delicious. The sodas are stunning and taste amazingly as well. It will take a while before the pancakes are ready, we had to wait 40 minutes or so during lunch time.

Very cute place, and the Matcha is tasty, but not very friendly for vegans. Did not even allow to remove cheese from bread and has no other vegan options for food. They do have other milks for extra cost tho. Also, as my friend told me, the staff was not too helpful or nice, but they were okay to me.

We've been planning to try this place for a while, since it always seems so busy on weekends. We finally made it, but unfortunately, we left disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, even though there were four staff members working. We waited really long time for a sandwich, and strangely enough the tables weren't being cleaned promptly after customers left. When our chicken BBQ sandwiches arrived, they were lukewarm at best. The bread and chicken were barely warm, while the sauces and kimchi were cold, which made the whole dish confusing. I couldn't tell if it was meant to be a hot or cold sandwich. The drinks were also nothing special. The one upside is that the interior design is really chic and stylish.

The sandos taste amazinggg, the matcha is normal to me. It is a small, cute, nicely decorated, and relaxing place for hanging out with friends. It can be a bit hot on summer days because they don't have AC

The first time I went here we had to wait an hour for 2 sandos. As an apology we got a free matcha cookie. The food was really good, the sando shrimp had a rich taste and the hot white chocolate matcha was also really good, I could really taste the chocolate. The second time the waiting time was shorter. I got a belgian chocolate souffle, which was nice but not special, and a cold matcha lavender earl grey, but I didn't really taste the lavender. The vibes were nice and the interior was cute and aesthetic. It was quite crowded during lunch time and the beebs to get your food were kinda annoying.

The food was fine. We had the Sando's BBQ and kimchi. It had a lot of flavor, which was a bit too overwhelming for me. But that is more of a personal preference. :) The Bread was nicely toasted but a little bit too much sauce. It did look really good tho! I really liked the yuzu drink and ceremonial matcha. The matcha was nice and frothy, with a pleasant bitterness that wasn't overwhelming but still provided a good kick. The atmosphere was good, although the walls felt a bit empty. I think more wall decorations inside would enhance the overall look. Service was good, very friendly people and it didn't take long for our food to be prepared. We paid about 40euro's for 2ppl. (2x Sandos, 2x Drinks and 1 Matcha tea)

I love this place! We went for brunch on Saturday (it was busy). We ordered a beef sando and a tofu sando; both were really good, but I strongly recommend the beef. For drinks, I got the matcha latte and my boyfriend got the crème brûlée coffee. The matcha was delicious. The coffee was a bit too sweet for his liking. For dessert (and the reason we went), we had the soufflé pancakes. We got the Belgian chocolate; it was divine! Fluffy, tasty and perfectly sweet, a must-have if you visit. This place is so lovely and the staff were very friendly. The interior is cute and unique. If you're in Groningen, don't hesitate to come here!

My boyfriend had a chicken bbq sando, and I had a rib-eye kimchi sando. He likes the chicken bbq, for me the rib-eye is on the sweet side. The lychee peach soda was good and refreshing, the ice coffee came in with milk as a default I think, the coffee can be stronger. You could dine in, they have plenty of space, but you need to order from the counter. Price was ok for the portion you got.

I have been waiting a long time for a place in Groningen that would serve japanese soufflée pancakes, and it is finally here. The food is great, the pancakes really didn't disappoint. The sandos are nice as well (tried Chicken BBQ and was happy). The service is also excellent, people are very nice. The drinks are a bit underwhelming, but they are fine. My new favourite café ~

very busy, was completely full (on a Sunday). Took 20min to get a drink, it was yummy. Cute clean place, nice atmosphere. Downside might be very long waiting times. - they don’t do reservations either

After seeing a few reviews on instagram I decided to go check out this place. Having arrived in the morning, the place was fairly empty. I ordered the White Chocolate Matcha Latte, the Lychee Peach Soda and the kimchi sando. Needless to say, only 2 out of 3 things were up to par with the price. The Lychee Soda was delicious, very sweet and fruity, and I can't say that I didn't feel full after eating the sando. Very rich flavours, with the mayonaise perfectly complimenting the salad piece and kimchi. As for the matcha, it was too watered down for my taste, and I expected to have the white chocolate syrup inside the drink rather than the foam. It is definitely a bit overhyped, but all in all its a nice place, a bit more on the pricier side.

This criminally quiet asian café is the only of its kind in Groningen where you can get japanese sandos. The ribeye kimchi sando itself was amazing and easily competed with viral sandos found in the larger cities of the Netherlands. The bulgogi-flavored ribeye was perfectly tender, umami, and paired nicely with the tangy kimchi and richness from the eggs and mayo. It was almost perfectly balanced but did lean on the sweeter side. We also got the seasonal matcha brûlée soufflé pancake, which was great. It's wonderful that they actually use a good amount of culinary matcha for the sauce, as higher quality is usually too delicate for food. The pancakes were fluffy and light: no complaints. However, the brûléed sugar was very small and more of a garnish. Lastly, the blueberry cheese foam matcha was great because the matcha flavor was able to break through the richness and sweetness. The tiramisu latte was good, but more mascarpone should be used to make it really 'tiramisu'. You can tell that they care about the quality of their dishes and that they clearly know what tastes good. Will be coming back for the only hoijicha latte in Groningen.

I've been to Nabi several times, and can say without a doubt that it is one of my favorite cafes in town. The owners regularly add new things to the menu, so there's always new surprises, yet they never compromise on quality. Today I tried one of their hojicha lattes. So good!

Always a great time at NABI café! It’s my friends and I’s favorite spot for a matcha and a chat to catch up. It does some times take quite a while to get your full order, especially if you order food, but both the drinks and the food are so worth it!

Good food and fast service! We shared the chicken bbq sando and the biscoff pancake, they were really nice. There is usually a longer wait time for the pancakes, but it's completely worth it.

The biscoff soufflé pancake was delicious and super wiggly. It tasted as I expected. Worth the wait. Best in Groningen.
