BierAtelier
is
a
very
nice
brewery
in
the
town
of
Wettingen.
The
brewery
itself
is
located
at
the
end
of
a
curving
narrow
road,
in
a
large
pale
yellow
building
which
is
generally
not
open
to
the
public.
On
the
hillside
is
a
black
metal
fence
enclosed
Beer
Garden
when
you
can
enjoy
fresh
beers
from
the
brewery
in
the
summer,
but
it
is
closed
during
the
winter
season.
Driving
to
the
brewery,
before
going
downhill,
you’ll
pass
the
brewery’s
dedicated
tasting
room
and
bottle
shop.
There
is
space
for
parking
in
front.
The
multi-story
stone
building
has
a
red
entrance
door,
and
the
brewery
staff
is
happy
to
welcome
you
inside.
On
the
right
are
shelves
and
crates
of
their
bottled
beer
and
brewery
merchandise
for
sale.
On
the
left
is
a
long
wooden
communal
table
with
several
chairs.
Ahead
is
a
walkup
rustic
wooden
service
bar
where
you
can
request
samples
or
cold
bottles
of
their
beer
to
drink
onsite.
A
small
chalkboard
behind
the
bar
lists
their
offering,
and
their
beer
is
well
made
across
a
range
of
styles.
I
tried
several
onsite
and
bought
a
variety
pack
of
bottles
to
try
at
home.
I
was
especially
impressed
with
their
Barrel
Aged
Barleywine.
The
staff
is
super
friendly
and
helpful,
and
the
locals
seem
to
be
proud
of
the
brewery.
It
is
worth
stopping
by
if
you’re
traveling
in
this
area.
