Beautiful walk from whitby, doesn't take long at all and you are rewarded with these gorgeous views. Nice clean path too so perfect for dogs. Easy to find the cinder track too and you can keep on walking if you want to walk further than the Viaduct.

Larpool viaduct is amazing place to go because it's stunning views, looking forward on the top of the hill you have Whitby abbey, downward the picturesque larpool village beside the River Esk. It is a tranquil area with free access to get some fresh air, walk and enjoy the beauty nature around it.

We’re staying just beneath the viaduct and it is a stunning landmark! We’ve also taken the path over the viaduct into Whitby and the views are stunning. Definitely worth a visit just the take in the size of it!

Just an awesome view and little walk to see Victorian Structures at thier finest. Part of the Cinder trail which follows an old railway line which uses to run from Whitby down to Scarborough.

We stayed at Captain Cooks Haven and a splendid view of the viaduct, with a special surprise the NYMR steam train passing through making my holiday, brilliant!

An wonderful example of Victorian design. The rail tracks were removed in 1965 however it is open for cyclists and walkers to cross.

Tall and beautiful viaduct, built in 1885 as a railway bridge. Now used as foot and cycle path over the river. The views from the bridge are fantastic . You can clearly see the abbey and river underneath.
