Went to late night dinner at Chuck’s in Whitby on Sat. Jan. 7/23@9pm. We were seated at the front window to a large round table. I can’t fault the food as it is always good and the same at every location I’ve been to in all over Ontario. Food was fresh and hot and came out faster then we expected. Unfortunately we had a server that was not very happy nor personable. She did Not introduce herself nor did she say hello , she was quite rude and didn’t show any care for her behaviour. It just really turned our experience at this location very sour. I am a very frequent customer however I will not return to this location.

Chucks Roadside Bar in Oshawa. Great food with reasonable beer prices and their burgers are so good. Service was okay but could be better.

Wife and I stoped for a quick bite that turned out to be an excellent porterhouse steak, wings, salad and Moscow mule drinks. The food was excellent, hot and got to our table fast. Our server Hayden was absolutely fantastic, she remember all the things we asked for post ordering our food and checked on us just the right amount of times.

We had a good time. The service was outstanding. Although we had few mistakes with our order, they were completely understanding and responsive. The speed at which the food was served was really quick. We ordered steaks and fried appetizers. The doneness of the meat was perfect for 3/4 of the stakes and they fixed the last one. In a nutshell, we recommend and would be visiting again

Great food and drinks! Service is polite and friendly. Our family and friends really liked burgers, salads and chicken. Recommend it.

Our visit to Chuck's Roadhouse was great! I had Fish Tacos, my son had steak well done with French fries, and my other family members, had Cheese Burgers, with French fries. We did not have to wait long, for the food. The wait did forget to bring the gravy, for the fries...but went back to get it. Otherwise, great time and food!

Overall the experience was good. The food was good . It was good portions. The nachos were very good . The steak was well done . It was good service. 7.5/10

Really enjoyed this place. The steak wasn't made perfectly but was acceptable. Desserts were awesome. Prices are great. Would recommend.

This place exceeded all my expectations, thanks in large part to the outstanding hospitality provided by Kevin. From the moment I arrived, Kevin’s warm and welcoming nature made me feel right at home. I got the lobster and steak combo and OMG!!! you should try it ! prepared using high quality meat and it was super delicious.

I sat at the bar and was ignored for 10 minutes as the bartender was busy chatting up a customer. The food was cold, washroom dirty. My first and last time visiting this chain of restaurant.

I've been to many of the Chuck's Roadhouse eateries, and I truly must say this one here had the absolute best dish of nachos and a perfectly cooked steak! The food was absolutely perfect. Couldn't ask for more!

Have dined here twice in the last month. Decent burger with fries for $9 plus tax and the 3% fee. Service was good both times and beer cold. They do need to work on their fries — guessing they’re cooked from frozen and both times were undercooked and not hot when they arrived at the table. Music is always a little loud here.

Kevin and our server(I can't remember her name) were super accommodating, we showed up with what we thought was a party for 15, then we thought it was 20, and in the end it turned out to be 32 people and it was a Saturday night and Kevin really worked with us and was super helpful and accommodating, food and drinks came quick and food was amazing!!! our server was attentive and amazing!!!! Thank you truly from the bottom of our hearts for helping make Our friends Birthday one she can remember for a life time!!! All of you at Chucks are amazing!!!!

Great service compared to most restaurants you go out to today because of short staff. Can't confirm if they had short staff but the service was excellent. Not like going to many of the other restaurants in the area right now that are short staffed. We didn't have to ask for anything. Even drink refills were done without us asking. Amazing service. Definitely recommend to anybody looking for a great meal and great service

If you want to feel good and full at the same time, this is the place to go. Our server Melissa was excellent. Melissa was attentive, funny, and accurate with all her recommendations. The food was good, my wife had the steak and lobsters, and I had the wings and ribs. Everything tasted good, nothing over or undercooked. I would definitely go back.

Okay, you just can't beat this place for the value. Even if the prices were higher I would be impressed. This was our first time at Chuck's, but won't be our last. Had the porterhouse, baked potato and corn on the cob for $30?... Yes please. The steak was magnificent as was the potato. Also had the wings....absolutely delicious and my wife had the burger which was one of the best burgers I've tasted. The kids menu is like $6 a meal and great food! Highly recommend this place. Shout out to our server Matthew, nothing but great service! Yes the prices are impressive, but the food is great. I spent $54 on a steak at The Keg the night before and much preferred this one....

I went out to Chuck's to meet up with my brother and a friend. We spent a good amount of time talking and never felt rushed, our server was attentive but never in our faces, she kept our drinks flowing and when we finally ordered the food came out in a timely manner. I had the Chuck's Philly Cheese sandwich with a side of their potato soup. The sandwich was warm, fresh, and delicious and the soup was hot. We also shared the Buckaroo dessert, which was amazing! Great food at a reasonable price.

In Canada working and if you are in the area give this place a try. Fabulous food very friendly A*

The rack of ribs were small. But they came out hot 🔥 with the fries. The beer came with a frosty mug 🍺 not like Chucks at Townline and King St. They charged me an extra dollar for rib sauce? Pathetic. See my picture.

What a restaurant! I love Chuck's. Where in the word are there bargain deals like this for a sit down restaurant. Great beer specials, tasty food, and above all, friendly service. Really enjoyed the steak and fries. Good tvs to watch the game, or simply a nice place for lunch as well.

This place was a huge surprise and a definite must go to. I am very impressed with the price that they offered as it ranks as low as your basic fast food joint, but it is a sit down restaurant with excellent customer service, delicious food that you would get at a more expensive restaurant. Our waiter never said what his name was but we had three different servers, showing me that they value the customer's experience over the number of heads that they themselves have to attend. Management is doing a great job as the staff show how much they enjoy working there. Thank you for the great experience.

Absolutely amazing service, not one complaint. My wings were taken away before i was done because i went to the bathroom and left nothing behind to say i i was still eating. they weren’t aware i was still eating but they absolutely made up for it. they reimbursed us for our beer and our food. The owner kevin is such a nice and genuine person, anything you need he will be there for. Absolutely somewhere you should eat the food and drinks are at such great prices!

Very negative experience yesterday at this location! Our server was very rude with absolutely no customer service skills. We did not get her name as she never offered it to us. She literally threw the menus on our table and walked away. Another server observed this conduct and promptly came over and apologized. Thank you to that server. We left and will NEVER! return.

Food was fairly good, the service was terrible. Firstly: a $2 up charge for extra pita when you’re given a full bowl of dip but only 6 pita? How does one finish the dip they paid for without the pita? Serve less dip if you’re going to serve only 6 pita. Secondly: Our server, Jackie; was rude our entire time there, EXCEPT when it came to paying. All apps were brought to the table except my friends. Her app and meal were brought out at the same time, despite her saying “to start, I’d like the sweet fries.” So, she went without while we ate. She had attitude the entire time she served us, even slammed my water down when she walked away too fast for me to ask for a water when refilling my friends drink. Lastly, as she took my plate; she said “oh you REALLY enjoyed your meal.” Because my plate was empty. So, we were treated badly, the food wasn’t brought out together, ridiculous up charges, AND I was fat shamed for eating my $20 steak. Jackie needs to be retrained, or let go. Even if the food was a 10/10, I will never return to this location.

had to give this location one star in order to make s review.. I can tell you right now that this location does not even deserveas star!! Had a horrible experience here because of the apparent owner! The owner here nickel & dimes his customers. We will NEVER eat here again at this location! When we asked the owner about the policy for the pickles, tomato & onion, he told us it was one per person & if u wanted an extra pickle ect ..it would be an extra .99/slice! What a bloody JOKE!! When I asked the owner for the head office #, he brought out the guideline binder to show me the police..I told him on MANY occasions that I didn't need to see it but he kept trying to show me it...NOT the way to keep the customers coming back & word of mouth is everything today!! NEVER AGAIN!! NO consistency at this location....1 minute you get 2-3 toppings..then the next you get 1 and a lecture????? 😡😡😡

Went for dinner with a friend to chat and catch up. The server Megan was amazing very friendly. Kitchen staff came out with food and had me cut into my steak to make sure it was cooked as ordered very impressed. The food was hot and delicious. We were not rushed and enjoyed the atmosphere.
