3.5 out of 5. Overall good experience for the kid. We were there right before the show starts. We were shown three animals and get to touch them. Also get to see them feeding the python with a poor frozen rabbit on the Easter Day. It might be a bit pricy as the whole exhibition +show takes less than 1 hour. They do have a playground, my daughter enjoyed it. But it lacks management, when elder kids rushed in, it become quite a mess. We had to pull our kid out to avoid getting injured.

Had a blast at Reptilia Whitby. The staff are awesome. Very knowledgeable and fun. Great interactivity and the animals are well taken care of. Admission prices are very reasonable. Adults are $16 and kids under 12 are $12. We watched a snake feeding which was incredible. We also got to see and touch two snakes. There was also a Tarantula, but we were not allowed to touch. Will bring the family back for sure.

Decided to take my nephew here on a Saturday and we both had a blast. Definitely cool to see the different reptiles that they have. The place also has an indoor playground and a cool maze that my nephew loved checking out. Bring your own food cus they do not sell food at the place.

Great experience. Loved that my teenage daughter and I could take our time going through. The Nile Crocodile was our favorite by far. Took all five of my kids here after enjoying my first visit so much.

Took my 3 year old and 1 year old for Valentine’s Day. Nothing says Cupid’s day like snakes! They both had a blast. Went right at 10am and stayed till 2 pm. The staff was great. They walk around and make sure everyone knows when they were doing a feeding or a tour. They pull out different animals for visitors to meet and educate them about. They had tables set up for colouring and a little Valentine’s craft. Kids play area is neat. Play place, music room, mirror maze, glow in the dark tunnel, and snake maze. The area has a water play area too with stones and rubber gators. Gift shop has lots to choose from. It is very warm wear a t shirt. No cafeteria for lunch or snacks, vending machines only. You are able to bring your own drink, snacks and food. They have seating and picnic tables at the enterence. It’s an all day pass, so you can even leave to eat and come back. Overall a great, fun, educational day.

Great place for the lizard lovers. The Gators are pretty big I recommend calling a head to see what the feeding times and show times will be for the day and plan your visit around the ones that interest you.

Clean place with lots of information about reptiles. Tickets were cheap through Groupon. Felt good supporting this place as a lot of their reptiles are rescued.

Took my son for a visit with his friend and their family. You can purchase tickets online or at the counter. Went at the morning time and it was pretty quiet but got busy as the day passed. My 2 year old had a blast seeing all the snakes and lizards. They do a show every hour starting 11 at the theatre where you can pet three animals if you want to. There is also a playground at the end where the kids can have a ton of fun. Overall it takes 30-45 mins to go check all of the animals but you can go as many times you want. Nice place for a day out or celebrating birthdays for little ones. Will definitely go back.

Went on a Thursday around noon and we practically had the place to ourselves. Our 3.5 year old had the time of his life. We were really impressed by the quantity and diversity of the reptiles at the facility. The highlight of which were the massive Nile crocodiles at the end. The play place at the end seemed like a nice bonus too. Would be an awesome place for a children's birthday party too.

Great place, they truly care about their animals! Apparently 75-90% of their animals are rescued abandoned pets, which is worrying given the amount of venomous snakes there. Glad to see some business is willing to care for these animals correctly

They're requiring a vax pass which they won't tell you on the phone, they say only masks are required. Not one customer in there today and not only did they break my boyfriends 2 year old daughters heart by denying entry but they also lost our families business. Do not support any business that segregates!

Had a great time at Reptilia! Kids loved it. Good social distancing and safety measures in place for Covid. Good value. I went to the original location of Reptillia when it was mostly a pet store plus a handful of display animals. Now they have two nice locations that are mini zoos. The animals are so active and interactive due to their great care. Normally you can touch animals during presentations as well. This location has nile crocodiles, black and green mamba, anacondas, tarantulas, and much more. Nice indoor and outdoor play areas for kids. Reasonably priced gift shop. They also sell feeders and equipment for folks keeping reptiles themselves. Great two hour event or birthday spot for kids.

Partner and I went and had a pretty good time! Lots of snakes, fish, tortoises, gators and frogs. Much smaller than the reptile zoo in Peterborough. Some animals didn’t have labels so weren’t 100% sure what everything was. Hourly shows in the theatre make a fun interactive experience but felt very geared towards children rather than all ages. Animals all appeared to be well looked after with clean facilities and regular feeding.

Great place to take your toddler for March break ( recommend 6 to 10) younger kids won't be as patience. Place was not as pack compare to the next door . Overall very fast, clean environment and not very congested place. Will bring the kids back when they get older .

Had a decent time but I can see kids that aren’t die hard lizard or snake fans getting bored pretty quickly. Overall it’s an okay place to go once or twice.

For anyone interested in reptiles, this is a great place to visit. The enclosures are really well done and there is multiple chances per day to view feedings. Many species that you would not expect to see or species that are unfamiliar. Venomous and non-venomous species of snakes are part of their collection as well as a great variety of lizards, turtles, tortoises, and frogs. Also crocodiles, alligators, African grey parrot, and tarantula! Feeding time for the crocodiles was exciting. Our grandkids loved our visit there.

Kids had fun. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The animals were active and that's all we could ask for. The place is well kept. There is a little water on the ground but to be expected considering the conditions that need to be maintained.

Hmm... I wasn't too impressed. The venue is ok (several enclosures seemed to be leaking water into the path though). It takes maybe 30mins to see everything but most animals seem to be either hidden or fast asleep. The biggest draw for us were the crocodiles, they are huge and very intimidating, but unfortunately they didn't move a muscle in all the time we were there (approx 60mins). I would suggest checking the feeding times online in advance in order to see some "action" - unfortunately for us, it didn't specify which animal was being fed, so whilst we thought we would see the crocs, we ended up with 1 not very hungry turtle.🤦🏻‍♂️ The staff are friendly and clearly love their animals which is good to see. I did feel a little sad seeing so many "wild" animals alone in small enclosures and the kids seemed to have a little more fun in the play area which meant we left feeling a little disappointed, so don't think we would go back again 😔 - perhaps you will have more luck? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Loved this place, saved the day on a rainy summer day. Can't wait to be back. Make sure, that you're there for the feeding, it's really interesting. I enjoyed that we could get close to most of the animals, it was a real hands on experience for my daughter.

When we brought our kids to this place, they were fascinated with the diverse array of reptiles. The venue boasts a range of engaging shows scheduled throughout the day. Our children were particularly thrilled by the sight of crocodiles being fed and the presence of turtles. 🐊 🐢 The indoor playground turned out to be the highlight for the kids. There is ample outdoor seating but there’s room for improvement in that aspect.

The best way to describe this place is interesting. So much learning fun for the kids which is truly the best way to have fun. They’ve got a nice walk-through exhibit, nice spacious party rooms and a super nice playground for this kids to run wild. Not sure we’d be back except for another birthday party but it was nice to experience Reptilia just once.

We were visiting from out of town, We took my niece here who is 7, she enjoyed every second of It. We watched the show and got to pet some animals. All staff was super friendly and went above and beyond. We got to feed Smog and take pictures with Doom. For a Sunday opening at 10am it was not busy, we stayed 2 hours and had a great time. If we get the chance to come back, we will. :)

An amazing family experience. Our 18month old son had a wonderful time. We went on a weekday afternoon and barely anyone was around. Highlight of our visit was the live show - we got to learn and 'pet' a tortoise, a lizard, and a snake! The staff were a fountain of fun facts about the reptiles. There was also a live feeding of the iguanas that we got to see which was nice. There is also a cool maze and play area. The gift shop is a little overpriced. We spent about 2hrs in here. Clean and well-maintained facility. Stroller-friendly. We got our tickers at Wagjag for a discounted price. Will happily come back again!

Super disappointed! Took my son today for the first time. It cost 15 bucks to get in. No big deal, right? Wrong! Everything is extra, and I mean everything. Wanna feed the animals? Extra $10 per animal. Take a picture with them? FIFTEEN DOLLARS A PICTURE. Then to add insult to injury, when you walk through the site, it ends up right in the gift shop, full of $100 teddy bears. Distaer for my 4 year old. Will not be back.

Really proud of the team that takes care of these reptiles. Some of the reptiles were relatively active in their enclosures. Moving about etc.. feeding of the big lizard was quite a sight... Spacious, clean place with polite staff

Love this place and the staff. I'm a keeper myself so I can appreciate the hard work and dedication it takes to make these animals happy. Thank you for a great day today. My favorite was the Asian water monitor. He's absolutely beautiful. I didn't take any photos but here's my baby November.

We just had my son's birthday party today and Katie was our host. She was amazing, she was very engaging and lively and she was very patient with the kids. My food was delayed and some of our guests were unable to attend last minute but Katie kept the show going. The party includes hosting, paper plates and napkins, tablecloth, some cutlery, help with the food, the reptile show (which kids love and even adults enjoy). The zoo itself is small but the animals are well taken care of, facilities are clean and the staff are all very polite and friendly.

Regular addmision price on 2023 Janurary is $19 + tax, I used the wagjag deal lowered it down to $13+tax =~ $14.50 total. This is a mini zoo of snakes , crocodiles, turtles and lizards all under protected glassed exhibits, all indoors. Friendly staff allowing us to pet the small reptiles (snake, turltle&lizard) in the hourly show and tell session, and showing us the lfeeding ofthe lizards (with bowls of veggies) and snapping turtles with the fishes. Overall it only takes just 30 minutes ~ 1 hour to tour the entire area of about ~50 exhibits of creatures. During winter time there is very little crowd, basically no lineups. There is a kids playing area at the end of the zoo with slides and mini-mazes.

Great experience! Kids loved seeing all the animals, which were very interactive and awake. They enjoyed seeing them in their habitats. Fun for both my 1 yr old and 3.5 yr old. They especially love the play area at the end. My little one couldnt enjoy tht as much. There should be a small area dedicated to younger kids. Overall fun experience and would definitely recommend others to check it out. 😊

The place has great care for the animals but I feel I was cheated. If you are like me and came as just you and your 3 year old and 5 year old. (Especialy if the kids are too excited to be there) Make sure you pay attention to what they are charging you at the front desk. They charged me for 1 extra child because I was distracted making sure my kids are okay. So pay attention at the front desk.

Fun experience for the children. They enjoy seeing the different species of Reptiles but due to the Covid there was no shows and no engaging activities from the staff. I regularly come here to get feeders for my reptiles. The ladies on the phone and front desk are always incredibly kind, knowledgable, helpful, and a highlight of my day to talk to whether it be over the phone or in person. Their feeders are also always great quality and they get in a really decent selection. I usually get silkworms though occasionally will pick up frozen rats and crickets for a friend of mine.

Very small enclosures for large animals like alligators. It's a torture for animals and we humans must stop using animals for our entertainment.

Overall a spacious, clean and well equipped reptile zoo. Apart from the reptiles, there's also a Jungle play area, rock climbing zone, indoor mazes, outdoor play area, ponds with fish indoors and outdoors, a picnic area in the conservatory and a souvenir shop. We were able to catch a feeding session which was a tad boring and a show which was ok but we couldn't hear the lady talking and holding the animals, however at the end she allowed us to come closer to the tortoise and see it up close and take some pics. We would come again!

This place has a lot of potential but unfortunately the upkeep is extremely lacking (or nonexistent). Having an outdoor area is great in theory since the entire zoo can be seen extremely quickly, but it needs a lot of love. Weeds having taken over, there’s garbage everywhere and all of the “ponds” are green and murky. There’s also no railing along the boardwalk which could be extremely dangerous for young children. I hope this place improves!
