I love this area for hiking!! There is a $6 parking fee (which it seems a lot of people ignore) but the money goes back into the conservation so its well worth it. The hike we went on was mostly easy going and wide, well maintained paths. There was one section with a HUGE staircase so keep that in mind. Just beautiful!

Great spot for a hike. The trails are scenic and secluded with large trees. There is a river along a large section of the trail. It's pretty flat, though there is a steep climb depending on where you start as most of the park is at a lower elevation. Walked 6km in 1h 5min. There is paid parking onsighy, but I parked at Ashburn and Spencer on the street for free, and it was very convenient to access the trails.

Amazing park with asphalted trail that is convenient to bike or walk with your dogs. Enjoyed the walk today and definitely will make that part of my weekly routine.

It was an amazing experience for me as I went at the beginning of spring. There are a number of trails we can hike around, and it takes 1 to 2 hours to cover the whole area. People who are interested in climbing steep hills can come and enjoy the trail.

One of my favorite hikes. Easy trails for the most part. The hills could be challenging for someone with mobility issues, though there is an accessible trail by the Hwy 7 parking lot.

Heber Down Conservation Area Hiked three major trails that form a loop: Springbank, Devil's Den and Railroad. Trails are a mix of forest, hills and open field. Hiked in early fall so the fall colours were beautiful.

Beautiful scenery. Lots of tadpoles and other creatures in the pond. The hike is mild and full of greenery. Love all of the wild things growing there 🥰

All the cloca areas are beautiful and serene. Wonderful place to walk or sit and enjoy. A tourist from another country commented to me "I am in paradise "

Went for a winter hike and wasn’t disappointed at all. Clear walkways mostly with some ice and snow. Heber down can never go wrong on a bright sunny day.

A beautiful scenery walking up and down the hills. Seeing the vibrant fall colors. The ducks in the pond were in a playful mood. The babbling calmess of the creek. By far one of the most stunning places I have visited.

$6 paid parking but I parked by the dog park which didn’t have a parking meter (maybe due to construction in that area). So to avoid $6 parking, you can consider parking by the dog park but check for signs in case things have changed since I was last there. There were lots of cars parking there but there were enough people leaving throughout the day for us to find parking easily. The trails were pretty easy, not all paved though. Some have pebbles on the floor and can get muddy at times if there was recent rainfall (at least on the devils trail, which was the one I did)x There are a few slight hills but nothing too difficult for the regular semi-fit person.

Great trail for all seasons. Not all trails are clear or maintenaned during winter. Have to pay for parking, unless you want to park on the road and take the risk of getting a ticket which will cost you more than the parking fee at the trail

Beautiful park for a walk, with great amenities for your dog friend. Despite visiting on a Saturday afternoon, the parking lot had plenty of open spaces. Right at the main lot on the north side, there is a nicely maintained dog park, with sections to separate big and small dogs, ensuring every pup has a good time. The park itself is beautiful, with nice trails and a variety of options for easy short walks to technical hilly hikes. Now that the 412 is toll-free, it's fast and easy to get to. I'll definitely be back for more time at the Heber Down.

It is a vast park with beautiful trails and an off leash area, with separate zones for bigger dogs and another for smaller dogs. Paid parking that could an annual charge if you'd like and you'd be help towards the conservation of the park.

The trail is worth the cost of the parking ($6). Well maintained and marked with different gradients. The off leash dog park at the front is awesome and we ran into well balanced dogs and invested dog parents. There are washrooms too.

Well groomed and marked trails, pretty easy hike. Gets a bit busy especially by the dog park.

Beautiful area with wonderful foliage and a great mix of sceneries. Parts of the trail offers access to the nearby stream. Trails are easy to moderate difficulties and very well-maintained. Note - there are two parking lots. Depending on which trail you wish to hike, you may want to park at one vs the other lot.

Used to be great, would regularly see deer, foxes, and coyotes on my walks...but ever since the era of covid it is now full of people with their off-leash dogs harassing wildlife, harassing other on-leash dogs, chasing joggers and cyclists ...and if you ask them to leash their problem dogs somehow you are the jerk. Talk about entitled and inconsiderate. Such a shame, used to be a lovely and peaceful conservation park

A pretty easy walk filled with paths parallel to the river. The walking trails become perfect for cross country skiing and tobogganing in the winter. It’s a quiet park that is less well known to most, so that’s what makes it such a special place to me. Great place to bring dogs!

Really nice spot for walks, a few trails make it interesting, currently renovating some of the pond and bridge so be careful. Lots of trees and will animals. This is a really nice park to bike, walk, or just to enjoy the nature. It has also a big park for pets which is amazing if you have a pet.
