Atmosphere is 10/10 right on the lake with a lovely view. The servers were very pleasant and food was good. Only 4* because it took a noticeably longer time for the burger + pasta to arrive.

Who would ask you to spoon the bee out of your cocktail and continue to drink it??!! ‘It’s outdoor’ said the server. ‘Spoon it out and put it on the floor’ then another server just killed the bee in front of my kids (they were taught bees are good and be kind to them). What kind of service is that?!! I’m very disappointed. I have never been to a restaurant who doesn’t replace a simple drink. The food is not too bad but not what I expected from the reviews. It’s either to salty or too bland. Also, the burger was too dry. Also, there are no food suitable for the kids. Kids want pasta so I order the shrimp linguine but it’s spicy (or just my kids can’t take spicy). Did not enjoy this place one bit.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all wonderful. The view of the lake was lovely. The patio/table set up is not crowded and each table has a good view of the lake. Food came out at a reasonable time and tasted great. Server was able to answer questions about food and she made great recommendations! There is a outdoor lounge area for people to sit/have a drink while they wait for their table. Ample parking across the street. No public access to the beach. Would highly recommend. Disclaimer: This is a very popular place and I made my reservation 3 weeks in advance.

Good way to spend the afternoon on a hot day. Staff from reception, to host, to server were professional, efficient and friendly. There is a sense of good teamwork among all the staff. This is how it should be. A bit of a drive but worth the scenery. Will come back soon. Thank you Fishbone kitchen and staff.

This restaurant is located right beside the Musselman’s lake, with a breathtaking view and such a refreshing ,causal vibe. We ordered: 1. Sourdough bread 4/5 2. Sausage 5/5 3. Steak 4/5 4. Tuna salad 4/5 All dishes are beautifully presented, especially like the way they serve the sausage, fires under the sausage . Service is good and attentive too. Make sure to make reservation in advance as they are quite busy.

Beautiful spot! View 😍 Probably the only restaurant in the area which is not a fast food. A bit pricey though, but in our opinion, the food doesn't worth it. It wasn't bad but wasn't very good either. Friendly staff. Recommended reservations in advance.

We went on a hot day (felt like 30+) , yet sitting under the patio was so comfortable. Ambiance and staff were excellent. We had chicken wings, grilled octopus, seafood linguine, margarita pizza and special of the day which is cod fish. All were delicious, I especially enjoyed the chicken wings (crispy outside tender inside), octopus (like the sauce) and the pizza. Must make reservations to avoid disappointment. There are only a handful of parking spots outside the restaurant; but no worries, restaurant customers can park free in a sizable parking lot just across the side street to the North.

Celebrated a special occasion here with a party of 8 and enjoyed our experience. We were seated on the private lounge which was unexpected and very nice. Gave us a beautiful view of the lake. Our server was great, knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions we had. I think they were a little understaffed when we visited as the service was a little slow, however, the view and private seating made up for it. Drinks are quite pricey but on par with cocktails downtown. Enjoyed the seafood platter (also a bit pricey for what you get) but the oysters and crab were amazing. Lots of yummy and fun appetizers to choose from. Mains were slightly underwhelming and took a while to come out. Overall beautiful place to enjoy a meal!

I recently had the opportunity to visit Fishbone By The Lake restaurant last Saturday and would like to share my feedback. Overall, I would give the restaurant a rating of 3 stars. While the location and the breathtaking view from the patio were impressive, there were some areas that fell short of my expectations. Let's start with the positives—the restaurant's location is undeniably excellent. The view from the patio is simply breathtaking, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance that adds to the dining experience. However, I found the quality of the food to be average overall. In particular, I was disappointed with the pizza. It lacked flavor and was noticeably lacking in ingredients. It seemed as though the pizza had been prepared with only a minimal amount of toppings, resulting in a lackluster taste. Another aspect that left me disappointed was the limited beverage options. They had only two choices of juices available, and unfortunately, one of them was sold out during my visit. This lack of variety was quite frustrating, especially when one option was unavailable. While the place itself is aesthetically pleasing and well-maintained, I believe there is room for improvement in the kitchen. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to focus on enhancing the quality and taste of their dishes, including the pizza, and expanding their beverage selection to provide a more comprehensive and satisfying dining experience. In summary, Fishbone By The Lake has its strengths, particularly the incredible location and stunning view from the patio. However, there is a need for improvement in the kitchen, particularly in terms of food quality and variety of beverage options. I hope that the restaurant takes these aspects into consideration and works towards enhancing the overall dining experience for their patrons. Overall rating: 3 stars

Amazing view with delicious food. We had the fresh bread and some brussel sprouts to start which was delicious. Cocktails also very good. Main course was shrimp linguini which was so tasty! Finished with fresh mousse and both flavors were so good. I do recommend.

Decided to try this place today as heard various opinions on it. It was a very sunny and nice weather which helps add to the nicer setting. The view of musselman lake is very nice 😊. The waitress that served us was very tentative and polite. The meal was pricy, especially the shrimp 🍤 cocktail we ordered. Ended up not getting any cocktails as they seemed very pricy relative to other restaurants. I ordered the tuna salad and it was tasty with each piece of sliced tuna fair sized compared to other places I’ve tried.

This place is a hidden gem, Deb is amazing and made our meal that much more enjoyable. Had many different dishes and all were fantastic and tasty. It's too bad this place is seasonal. The view is like out of a Rockefeller picture, watching a man with company fish on the lake, school bus in the distance dropping students off. The view is angelic. We will ne back next year!

We attended for dinner with a 530pm seating. Reservations are definitely recommended. We had a nice table at the railing overlooking Musselman’s Lake Lake. Service here is excellent. Ambience is delightful. The food was excellent (see picture). Hats off the our server Julia. We will definitely come back

The most beautiful view out if all places we’ve been to in Ontario. Lovely place to chill with friends or family. Free parking, great service, lake view. Loved it. The food was okay with some gems like Brussel sprouts and croquettes. Too much sugar and fat, but nice ingredients. Bit overpriced though. Would definitely be back again for the atmosphere and the view

Beautiful atmosphere to dine and get together with friends, family or a romantic date. Small menu but really great choices I have eaten here in the past many times so I was happy I actually got a reservation. With that said reservations are a must and has to be reserved with a credit card. We had brussel sprouts, croquettes, and spiced olives to start with Irish salmon as the main. We finished with a chocolate mousse and coffee. A very delightful afternoon.

Wonderful experience. The place is like a resort and feels like you've escaped Toronto. Food was amazing. Service was nice and spaced out so you won't feel overwhelmed. Lots of cocktail options. Wine and food options could expand a bit in future. The place overall is very popular, tables always filled. The lounge waiting area also very cozy. Lots of parking across the restaurant.

The good and the bad. Gorgeous location nicely done. For the ones that need to be seen. In the new Hip and Trendy place. TO MUCH SERVICE! Overwhelming wait staff, burned and overpriced food that lacks size and quality. Drinks are not what they are supposed to be and much too expensive. The washrooms do not reflect what the restaurant tries to accomplish. Overcompensating everything from the time the hostess takes you to the table until you get the bill. But for those who need it, and think that this makes you feel special, it's a great place.

This restaurant is my favorite place every summer. In addition to the lake scenery, its dishes have always maintained good quality. I must order kale every time during the exam, and cod, pizza and seafood pasta are all my favorites. The waiters are very young but very enthusiastic, they need to make reservations in advance and they are usually very busy.

The views from this restaurant is breathtaking. Situated along musselmans lake with shade. The restaurant is open seasonally only as there is only patio seating. Food is absolutely delicious - I recommend the seafood linguine, Brussels sprouts and the octopus. Service is great. I reserve on open table and the restaurant called to confirm the reservation which was a really nice gesture. Only comment I have is that I asked for a high chair on open table as well as over the telephone and this was not prepared when we arrived.

Took the parents out for a birthday lunch. We loved it here by the water. Friendly service and food was great. Portion was decent and yummy cocktails. We had a great time.

This was my first time and I was very impressed. They had a stunning view of the lake and the sunsets just on the right of it great for dinner time! The food was amazing, the deep fried brussel sprouts were amazing and a great sharing dish! The chicken thighs were also amazing, the presentation of each dish is phenomenal. Cocktails were good and well presented. I would go back again!

Excellent experience dining here. It is pricy. Don't get me wrong. But it's the price you pay for fine dining. And it's not much higher than the standard. The food quality is excellent. Service is excellent. Scenery is excellent. Only beef was the bees due to the delicious food but that's an outdoor patio issue. Definitely returning.
