I think it's an interesting relic of retail history. Unfortunately it suffers from the demise of in store shopping and the growth of online shopping. I love that the mall interior still shows its 1960s charm.

The five stars is for Kohl's. Everything is closing or closed but if you going specifically to Kohl's you will get a whole lot at a great price. The staff are super friendly. The whole mall is still clean (not dusty) despite the shops closing. Other than that since any shop open is having a promotion, this is a nice place to get bargains before the whole place shuts down.

This mall is ok. Better than the horrible "mall" in Stroudsburg. If you are looking for a real mall I would suggest heading to NJ. 🙂

Although Whitehall Mall has changed quite a bit throughout the years I still enjoy going there. Especially to visit the Pet shop with the cutest puppies. I also enjoy shopping at Kohl's and the Discount mart.

I used to go to this mall all the time with my grandparents back in the 80s. The Sears was our major stop, but I remember how full this place always was, the number of stores, movie theater, and water fountain. Yesterday 10/2023 was the first time I stepped back in this mall since 1988....my heart sunk. Sears is gone, most stores gone, theater gone, fountain gone....some small stores holding on trying to keep it going. The floor is the same and literally my brain could remember it...so the nostalgia came back for a moment. Sad what time can do, but brought back some great memories!

There's basically no stores here. But because of that there's plenty of parking. They're supposed to be building it back up into something now so we'll see.

It's not that it's a bad place, but apparently our economics and online shopping habits have caused many of the storefronts there to close. As they have worldwide. Very sad.

This mall is pretty sad. There aren’t that many stores, and it’s empty. I guess it’s a good mall to go to if you want to shop quietly and peacefully for very few things, but it isn’t all that exciting. I definitely wouldn’t recommend

It's a shell of the mall it used to be in the 70s, 80s and 90s. That's a plus. Never crowded like it was in its heyday. It's a nice calm atmosphere.

Whitehall Mall is just a shell of its former self back in the day! Nuff said. Wait, they are doing a lot of building stores and are bringing new retailers into the mall as I type this so I'm sure it's going to improve. The only direction there is to go is to improve as it's been a dismal shopping mall with Sears being the anchor but now Sears is no longer part of it anymore. Hope the planners and investors give new life to the entire Whitehall Mall. I'm going to keep an open mind and check in there from time to time as I'm in that area.

I have been going to the Whitehall Mall since I was a Kid. Used to go there for Boy Scout uniforms, the the movies, and a trip to Sears was always good! Then as I got older I frequent the pet store as well as the comic book shop. Also the outside stores as well. The Whitehall Mall was always smaller then across the street but holds a lot of memories for me!

Most of the anchor stores are gone. I didn't go to the mall was just passing on my errands. Doubt I've been in a "mall" in 10+years. Service and customers service are non-existent for sometime now.

I like going to the Guitar Center and some of the local restaurants and stores like Five Below. We do miss Sears though.

Another lousy old out of shape mall which eventually will die with all the rest I never go there. Good luck at night you might get shut!! Do not recommend women going there alone!

Boscov's is a mainstay in the community, and the store values its patrons greatly. Consumers still try to return items they've stolen or bought elsewhere. Some customers, however, are thrilled with the value they receive. The Lehigh Valley is a fantastic shopping destination. Because my family's health problems and my work schedule, I rarely go shopping somewhere else. Now that I've found some great online retailers, I conduct most of my shopping online. For me, it's Boscov's.

Five Below is one of the few stores still open there. It is a unique store with many seasonal and different items although many items are priced above $5.

Dead, only 5 stores open, Kohl's, a nail salon, a bridal shop, a comic shop, and that pet shop that's been closed like 4 times because they use puppy mills

I do not go to this mall. I only go to 1 store outside. This mall has been lacking for years. There is so much opportunity wasted to draw people inside. I have not had any interest in the mall since the clover store and movie theater days. They even lost Arby's. There is a small stand there but really nothing there to offer in the sense of a food court. There is a comic store inside but you wouldn't know that from the outside. It is very poorly run. Make a freaking effort in the place or just close it down completely! Just wasting the potential for that space in my opinion. Take Westgate mall for example. It's small yet made a major impact on itself and now has way more visitors than before. New attraction, New construction of a face lift and the repositioning of a grocery store to open up other potential in the other part of the mall. Why is this so hard for Whitehall mall. Is it run by someone with a slumlord mentality that just wants to take in cash and not lift a finger???

Pro's: Went to Boscov's department store and as always..Great selections..neat and clean..and everyone who works there are very friendly and helpful ! Large selection of everything! Cons: They need more open registers!! This has been my big "con" with Boscov's for the last 15 years! More Open Register's Please!!

Everything went great, all the stores are open plus they're getting ready for the holiday shopping and the weather was nice that day. So what else can you ask for.

Nice mall with plenty of parking and store options. The mall has a lot of good options for food, snacks and something sweet too.

Not much left here. Maybe 6 or 7 stores if that. Even the pep boys closed the retail store and are repairs only. Can't be to long for this land to be redeveloped.

Many store locations closed. Would love to see empty places filled with a great buffet place and larger space filled with a go cart and in door golf play area

Boscov's is an anchor store and really appreciates their customers. Customers still steal, try to return merchandise purchased at other locations. Yet others really appreciate the service and prices. Lehigh Valley is an excellent place to shop at. I don't really visit any other stores now because of my family's health issues and my work schedule. I generally shop online now I found some excellent vendors. Boscov's is my spot

Visited Red Lobster there and they were actually really great about giving me an order that I forgot to wait for the prior evening! They didn't have to accommodate me. I am grateful they did!

Actually, I'm only ever at the Whitehall Mall anymore for either Bed, Bath & Beyond or Five Below. So my rating is solely based on going to those 2 stores; but Google asked if I'd rate the mall, not the stores. My only complaint is more of a suggestion for Google, NOT the mall or the businesses located there. Maybe stop asking people to rate "the mall." It's not really a mall anymore, in its historical or in the typical sense. I just feel like people should rate the individual businesses separately. The only thing that really applies to the mall would be the common areas, like the parking lot or the sidewalk. This is merely my personal opinion and admittedly is based on having been a regular mallrat years & YEEEEEARS ago. (before it expanded, when everything was inside - the Plaza Theater, Leh's, Clover, Sears, an arcade, fountains, etc.)

Not for nothing but this particular mall, but this mall gives me the creeps. It looks creepy, the inside it's basically plain and bland. Meaning there's basically approximately about.... I would say 6 stores and it closes early. I went today 11/23/2022 on or about 6:30pm and the only store that was opened was Kohls. Whitehall mall you need and have to do better.

The Sephora is absolutely the best place in the whole mall, the staff and manager there always are on top of everything and make sure I always enjoy my experience. Much appreciated to the associate Shane for helping me find all the products I needed and manager Hanna for assisting when I needed some things that were a bit more complicated!

I gave 5 stars because sometimes I don't even go to buy just to walk around and look at the amazing stuff they have in each store.. and when I go to buy anything, they always treat me with respect. They are so nice!!

I grew up with this mall before the remodel. Apparently there was a lot of damage from not being upkept, resulting in it being easier to just remodel. While there's still remnants of that mall, the current ownership didn't learn any lesson from history of the mall: they don't upkeep it. There are breaks which could easily be fixed by a carpenter in under an hour. An increasing number of lights around the shipping center flash or are out. This is not only an eyesore: It's a safety hazard by epilepsy standards. It's also a possible for hazard, with that many lights flickering. I'm unsure whether it's haunted or a disco at night. Management hasn't responded to emails about something else last year, and so now I'm considering reporting the lights as an ADA violation. Only reason it's not 2 stars is because it's still got business running, while many mall overcharge until they fail. Still, take that money to fix your venue.

You've gotta love Kohls!! The only thing they really should consider, is getting a couple of scooters for those of us that are disabled and have mobility issues.

The mall is beautiful but it's empty and only 3 stores are open. My only complaint is the pet store. All the animals are mistreated. About 25 white rats are stuffed into a 10 gallon tank with one small wheel, water bottle and house. Same with the full size rats. A puppy was barking and the worker told it to "shut up already" They don't allow you to record or take a picture of any kind (understandable) but sure it's because of the living conditions of the animals. On top of that they charge $2500 to take one home. Adopt and don't shop.

🫤 The selection of stores are okay here... there is cheap, affordable shopping, but the upkeep of this place is horrible. It’s laden with trash! It has been on several of my visits. I go later in the day. Who owns this place!!!
