I've been watching this place for a while and wanting to find the time to drop in. Today I got to have the most lovely lunch experience there. Their signature dish is a rolled sandwich of sorts, flat bread with a wonderful concoction of 12 herbs and then rolled up to eat. It is absolutely delicious. It's a hot food they make it on the flat top so the bread is toasty and the herbs warm and aromatic. It's a good size portion and I snarfed mine completely. Although it was enough food, I loved it so much I almost ordered another one so that the taste experience would never end. Along with my sandwich roll I got a pot of thyme and mint tea which is a clear glass pot filled with fresh herbs and boiling water sat over a candle to keep it hot. It is so delicious and aromatic and the perfect compliment to the roll. I'm in love and I'm going to come many many more times in the future. The service is really quite lovely and fast and everyone was very kind to me and willing to answer my questions. Do yourself a favor and try this place out you will not be sorry! It's nicely decorated, clean and spacious and a very comfortable place to just sit and enjoy a light meal.

Zhengyalov Hatz - 5 🌟 Baklava - 5 🌟 This place caught my eye and I was close by recently so I stopped in. The decor is awesome and feels very welcoming. The staff was very friendly. When there is only one savory item on the menu and it is a popular place it is always because they know how to make that one item so well there is no need to offer anything else. Zhengyalov Hatz specializes in an aromatic herb flatbread wrap and omg, it is super tasty. The name of the restaurant is also the name of the wrap. I was surprised no sauces come with it. But I figured that was the style. I used some of the condiments on the table but this flatbread stands on its own. I treaded myself to a baklava. Also very fresh, flavorful and amazing. My only tiny regret is that I should have ordered tea. I read after my visit that a lot of people pair their flatbread with fresh tea. For next time!

Very clean place, great to see the wraps prepared front of house and of course it’s delicious—fast and fresh! Easy street parking around the block, also close walking distance to the Glendale parking structures.

Delicious and healthy, quick and homey! Great prices, better food, overall very pleasant experience. The atmosphere was really nice and the seating area was super cute. Armenian coffee was delish!

A tasty, healthy wrap with a burst of flavor. The dough is rolled so thin and pairs so well with all the flavors of the greens and spices. It’s fun to watch them make these! A bit warm inside, but cute set up. Bathroom says out of order…

perfect. simply perfect. one thing on the menu that they’ve chiseled down into the most concise and merited meal. i am a HUGE FAN!

Jana was very nice and hospitable. When I was there you can tell that all of the food is made from scratch and is fresh. I only ate a baklava on my first visit but it was 5/5 stars for freshness and taste. They also care about the environment in their business, which is important for me as someone who cares about the environment too!

Had been wanting to eat here for awhile. Finally got a chance after some shopping at the Americana. Delicious and authentic! They also have a great selection of Armenian beverages. Can’t wait to go back :) 🇦🇲

Interesting, but not great. I'm a big believer in doing a few things really well. But they do ONE thing fairly well. If you don't like onions, you're out of luck...and they're raw. At least give me an option with no onions? And no sauces? Will not return.

Delicious, healthy meal. Sandwich is packed with a week's full of greens. The price is hard to beat. Staff are very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Tasty little treat. So simple yet so delicious. Vegan friendly. We came early on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of street parking in front and no line.
