Despite
being
located
very
close
to
the
city
centre,
this
hotel
conveys
a
feeling
of
being
a
jungle
resort,
as
it
has
a
lot
of
beauty
plants
and
palm
trees,
as
well
as
a
big
and
beautiful
pool
-
though
being
a
bit
dated
by
today’s
modern
standards.
Nevertheless
relaxing
at
the
pool
is
a
great
idea
after
seeing
the
various
cultural
attractions
within
and
outside
Chiang
Rai.
Don’t
forget
to
bring
anti-mosquito-spray
as
the
lush
nature
attracts
lots
of
them.
In
general
this
hotel
seem
to
attract
mostly
Spanish
speaking
visitors,
perhaps
due
to
the
fact
that
it
has
a
Spanish
name.
Visitors
also
seem
to
stay
only
for
an
average
of
1-2
days.
Each
of
the
rooms
is
comprised
of
a
small
bungalow
that
has
newly
renovated,
fairly
modern
rooms
with
aircon.
The
aircon
is
much
needed
as
the
bungalows
heat
up
fairly
quickly
during
the
day.
Setting
it
up
to
a
level
where
the
cool
airflow
doesn’t
hit
you
straight
up
can
be
quite
a
bit
of
a
challenge
as
they
are
aimed
directly
at
the
bed.
As
it
is
common
for
Thailand,
staff
is
very
friendly
and
welcoming
even
though
I
did
not
have
such
„friendship-vibes“
like
a
had
when
staying
in
small
boutique
hotels
in
Thailand.
I
found
the
breakfast
to
be
ranging
from
alright
to
good.
There
is
quite
a
large
variety
of
the
standard
toast,
Marmelade,
baked
beans,
cake
and
fruit
as
well
as
more
Asian
oriented
meals
which
I
found
to
be
of
better
quality.
The
omelette
was
quite
good
though.
The
city
centre
is
about
15-20
minutes
walk
from
the
hotel
but
I
used
the
app
grab
each
time
and
called
a
driver
to
get
me
there.
Grab
is
probably
the
best
way
of
getting
around
in
cities
like
Chiang
Rai
and
Chiang
Mai
anyway.
Even
a
single
bus
ride
in
your
city
is
more
expensive
than
using
grab
-
so
try
it
out
:-).
All
in
all
I
can
recommend
this
hotel
to
you
if
you
are
looking
for
a
more
budget
orientated
way
to
stay
in
a
nice
and
relaxed
resort
for
1-3
days
in
Chiang
Rai.
Cheers
from
Germany,
Chris.
