This is a very good hostel, the staff is very polite and well trained. The rooms were very clean, the housekeeping service was excellent. It has a clean pool. It has good food and drinks, special events every day of the week. It has a happy and attractive atmosphere. This was one of the best hostels I went to in the world. Excellent location and good access to the beach. I recommend that you definitely go here.

Loved the Experience at Lub D. They have the best location and great vibe. This is a community focused stay where you will definitely make new friends. They also have many activities that focuses on breaking the ice. Dorms are neat and clean. You have private locker and also a Luggage room where they allow to keep the luggage for free even after you check-out. However, toilets are dirty (men) if you go in the evening and night. Also, any extra-activity - Airport Transfers or a tour is super expensive. Just step out and you will find vendors in half of the price.

This Lub d is the best hostel we stayed in during our time in Thailand. The rooms are a good size and the shared bathrooms are always clean and restocked. All the facilities are great. The restaurant and bar team - Aon, Sam, Mom, Game and especially Pop are so accommodating and constantly went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and always did it with a smile. We stayed at other Lub d’s which we equally enjoyed but this one stands out due to the great staff and team there who have a way of making you feel like the only guests there. Also the pool is great.

The place is clean for the most part, we stayed in the female dormitory and it felt very safe as you needed a key card to enter the corridor and room. We really enjoyed our stay. The showers had a drainage problem but they had shampoo and body wash. The staff replaced the towels every day and you could take free beach towels for the day if need be. The front desk did not speak very good English so it is a little difficult to ask questions and communicate. There are washing machines, dryers and irons, though the dryer is also not great so make sure you don’t clean your the day before you leave. They also seem to have a fly problem in the general area but other then that great place to stay at! 10/10 would recommend.

I really liked the vibe of the hostel, especially the group activities which happen daily. You get to meet so many people from different countries/ backgrounds. I went for the Pub Crawl with the hostel group last night, and it was amazing. The host was Sophia and she had a really chill vibe. Really liked it. The whole experience was amazing. There are similar events which happen here daily.

Had planned a 4 night stay but extended it to 6. Cleanliness in hostel was good. But the highlight for me has to be it's highly social vibe, especially when you are traveling Solo. Met some of the finest people from around the world. Jaine was life of all social activities. But for me the finest member of Lub d hostel team was Jay. She treated me like family, and guided and looked after me very well. I found a great friend in her. Just a couple of things. Breakfast is not worth the money and prices of water bottles at reception are far exaggerated then the ones in marts next door.

The room was so new and clean. The hotel is in strategic location. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes. The restaurant was so fantastic with the pool beside. The stuff was so nice and friendly especially, Nami, Au, Ta, Aon, Mon, Net, and, Bell. Their service was so pleasant. You can ask them anything. The food tasted great. They have a bar by the pool and they also hold a fun party every week. Recommend if you go to Patong, Phuket, you should stay there.

We had a great stay at the Lub d hostel. The rooms are really nice and the pool is great. The staff are really helpful. Belle was absolutely lovely. There is lots of variety of food and drinks. Good priced

Our room was very clean but a little on the smaller size. Our bed was super comfortable as well. This was the most hotel like hostel we stayed at. The common room and pool is super nice and location is amazing as it is close to the beach and the main road for clubs and food. Staff were very helpful and I really appreciated the fact the had luggage storage as it gave us time to still do things before needing to leave. I would deff stay here again!

Awesome hostel for solo travelers. You won't get bored. Always an activity waiting for you. Easy to make friends from all over the world. I stayed in lady dormitory, It was quite. The bathroom was so clean. The only thing I did not like is during the night time check in the lady in reception was not able to speak English and was rude. Did not even show my room entrance properly. Overall if I come to Phuket I would stay again.

Our group of 11 loved this hostel, the service, food & drinks were great. Pop the server was an amazing host! We will definitely be returning in the future and would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone travelling to Phuket.

I love the lub d hostels. I ended up moving from a ladies room to a private room and omg I don't regret it. I stayed in the private room for a week and my room came with a hammock and I spent so much time on that hammock watching people down at the pool area and watching the sunset. The food is pretty pricey at this hostel but there's tons of nearby food, which I loved. Housekeeping was super friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome Hostel ! Great social vibe, there were plenty of fun activities and events to keep me entertained. Nice clean room, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms and a lovely pool/common area. Love the big locker/cupboards and individual rails in the dorm. Breakfast was exquisite and good value for money. Host was friendly and helpful. Perfect location just a quick walk to the beach, it’s wonderful. Overall I enjoyed my stay, would stay again. Highly recommended.

An ideal place for backpackers and bachelor crowd. Great ambience. Despite having a swimming pool at lower level , the cleanliness is at its peak. God food. Courteous staff. Happy and helping people. The only drawback is room are smaller than normal standard size. Not that suitable for double occupancy.

A very happening place. Rooms are very clean and organized. They have storage space for each bunk with a lock. They have pub hopping one can sign up to in the evening, group games and diverse crowd. The pool is open till evening. It is situated in a convenient place, walkable to the beach as well as patong street but not too noisy. Overall, would recommend 10/10

Friendly staff but the rooms weren’t my favorite. The curtain only covers half of the bed and the blanket is thin, small, and scratchy. The door on my locker broke while we were there but someone came to fix it quickly. Beautiful pool and area to hang out in where we met some really nice people. Patong Beach and Bangla Road wasn’t the best (the party scene was way too crazy and gross) but hanging out at the Lub D bar was fun.

We had the best time at this hostel!!! 😊 They were super accommodating and New Year is such a great asset to the team. He made the bar crawl so much fun and he can create a good atmosphere by just his personality. (Whatever you’re paying him, is not enough ;) ) I will forever recommend this place and I will return to one of the properties in the future!!!

Great hostel! Vibe is just what I was looking for. Social area is nice to meet people and hang out. Staff is great too. Mon and Pop in particular make sure everything is perfect! Would definitely come again.

Good service but noise hotel, at the end is a mix between hostel and hotel. Not sure if was on purpose,but I noticed twice my consuption on the restaurant was charged double (tip included by the waiter was equal to the total check).

This is my 4th time at Lub D and it never disappoints! The location is perfect , very close from all the main points around Patong . Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staffs are very friendly and every day have activities at the hotel . We joined the pub crawl and was fun.

The location is excellent if you are looking for a party atmosphere, beach access, and convenience. It’s definitely not for quiet relaxation. The private rooms in this hostel are clean, functional, well maintained and satisfactory. The rooms are compact but the king sized bed was comfortable for two people. Also the cleaning service was very good. I knocked one star off because the Wi-Fi is not stable in the room, there is no place to organize clothes, and you can hear everything in the next room. It does have a nice little balcony though. Also the optional breakfast is expensive and looks like plastic - better to go out on the street for a Thai omelette. If I wanted to come back to Patong Beach, I would definitely consider staying here if the price was right.

This was such a fun experience! My first time staying in a hostel and it was great. Easy way to meet travels and make connections and find people to do things with if you're solo traveling. They have some kind of event planned every day/night which helps you meet more people. The staff is VERY nice and accommodating. Charlie at the front desk was so helpful when we were dealing with reservation issues. I'd love to try the other Lub d hostels in the area! We stayed in a dorm the first night and a private with two twin beds the rest of the time. The dorms are small but doable. The shared baths were decent but got dirty toward the end of the day so make sure to bring flip flops. The private was small as well but had a private bath and were nice. The location was perfect. A couple blocks from Bangla Road, so you're away from the crazy a bit and can get to it easily when you want! The location of Patong Beach is nice for going to see other beaches in the area and Excursions like Wat Chalong and Big Buddah. Thanks for having us Lub d!

I didn't stay here (it seems like a nice hotel) but I had the burger. Avoid this burger at all costs! It is the worst burger I have ever eaten. Full of gristle. Not fit for human consumption. The poor chef was ashamed to have been given such a low quality beef patty to cook with. It's really bad. The staff were super friendly and helpful though and I didn't have to pay for it. Great staff and the place itself is really nice. Shame the owner doesn't care about the quality of the food.

Great location and very relaxing hotel lobby with activities. Love the pool, beer pong, pingpong, and food there. Nice and friendly staff. The room is small, clean, comfortable bed. me and my friend (we booked junior twin room) just in the room to sleep, so doesn't matter. Overall good and guests are nice as well

Nam-phung and New year amazing service! Very friendly and would go above and beyond. They provided good vibes not just for me but ensured others are being served and taken care of. Would definitely recommend Lub D for meeting new people! Made amazing friends! Food fairly priced but decent meals to fill you up! Service and cleanliness is top notch with regular changing of bedsheets in dorm with fresh towels which is rare in other hostels. Clean and large bathrooms! All staff deserve a raise! Thank you! Will be back!

This was probably the best hostel/hotel I've ever stayed in, in terms of making new friends ,events, value for money and facilities. There was an event happening everyday and tons of things to do... pop was amazing during my stay. The only drawback was not having a fridge in the room and their sizes were small.

The hotel / hostel is amazing, the staff are very nice and funny. The location of the hotel is excellent since it’s only 5 minutes away from the beach. Special thanks to the best staff BuBu, Bob, Mon and Game. I would definitely come back to this place!

Stayed for a night and it feels so alive!! Giving the hostel vibes. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly. Room was alittle small but I guess we could make do with that. If you’ve a huge luggage, too bad. No fridge in the room. Simple stay, it’s good. Towels were a little dirty, tooth brushes weren’t provided. Please bring them! The pool area is pretty decent and it’s definitely a yes, if you’re into that. Pick up location is accessible too.

The location of the hostel is not the only best thing about it . The rooms are pretty good, the washroom is top notch, rooms are cleaned every day. There are a multitude of things to engage in - pool table, table tennis and the swimming pool, of course. The pool party was the best thing about it. Totally loved my stay here. Highly recommend!

This hostel was absolutely amazing. I really loved the vibe, mainly the group activities because even when you are shy you get to meet many amazing people from different countries. I went for the Pub Crawl with the hostel group, and it was amazing. The host was NewYear and he knew how to start the party and keep fun going. Absolutely loved it. The whole experience was amazing.

I’ve stayed in many hotels and this one is seriously cool and huge! We were there for New Year’s Eve and they had a party going on at the bar with tons of games, music, dancers, cool people and they had a foam party going on in the pool. The staff is beyond helpful, friendly and spoke very good English. They accidentally put us in a 4 bunk bed in the women’s dorm and my male partner was with us and they immediately stopped him when he walked into the all female dorm floor. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are good, the AC is great, there is a drying rack on the personal balcony and overall the facility is so nice! I highly recommend it!

Love the location right next to the pool. Great bar menu with awesome drinks and menu offering both western and thai dishes. My favourite is the Angelo Burger and great burgers.

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Great rooms. Clean bathroom. Regular housekeeping. And amazing pool. They also have a awesome common area for table tennis, billiards and darts. The staff is also very friendly. Plus it is located very close to Patong beach.

Really loved the atmosphere in this hostel! Really lively, has pool parties and pub crawls on friday/ sat/ weekend (not sure when exactly). Really loved the environment, location is great (near to the main area of patong), hotel staff are really helpful. This is a secure hostel for a single female traveller (locks on the rooms and for the toilets). Rooms are also very clean and well-maintained, and the pool area is a bonus. They also have specific events for e.g. full moon party trip. Overall great vibes in the hostel, 10/10 would recommend ! :-)

Lub D Phuket is great hostel however the place disappointingly felt more like a hotel than a hostel (not necessarily complaining about it but it was too quiet compared to other hostels). I understand Phuket and the hostel are only recently opening up to tourists again but with the place being close to capacity this week - I would have expected activities organised to liven up the place/ help us meet new people. Other than the pub crawls organised on alternate days, there wasn’t anything buzz around the place and residents had nothing better but to visit Bangla road to pass time in the evenings. Also the happy hour was quite short and there was no announcements as to when they were starting/ ending. The place has a lot of potential and is in a great location - so if they can address these minor “social” aspects, it would be a 5/5.

Lub D! What an amazing place! Not only were the rooms and facilities up to date, clean and came with a balcony but what really makes this place is the staff from the front desk to the bar and the cleaning staff were all amazing! A very special shoutout to Katarn! What a legend! Went out of her way to make the start of my trip amazing! I have no doubt she'll be running the place one day! Lost for words! And Korn also what a great bloke!

Nice atmosphere - poolside & open air - but the food was underwhelming. We ordered pad thai (tasted like ketchup, or something weird, not nearly as good as other pad thai I've had around the country) and my friend ordered the pesto pasta (they added so much pesto it was inedible. You literally could ONLY taste pesto). The garlic bread was 90% garlic, very little bread - there's a ratio that was missed. We ordered a piña colada bucket, and it was not sweet at all, extremely bitter somehow - it's supposed to be sweet, right?? No idea where the bitterness came from. The guy at the bar was nice enough, since it's a restaurant in a hostel, there's no real table service. It was ok at best, but we just expected better. Disappointed, I was hoping for more!

Phuket's best western food. Awesome drinks specials all day. Really friendly staff & customers. Stuck around with some people I met there till midnight then went on a pub crawl!

My fiancé and I stayed here for 8 days and had a fantastic time! Met so many nice people and the staff was great to us the whole time👍🤙😁 seriously, a good choice if you want to have fun while your in the area, the parties they throw are top notch! Be careful. You are only supposed to eat lobster when it is fresh(alive then killed). Most of the lobster in Thailand is already dead. On ice. For how long, I dont know. I got food poisining3x while staying in HauHin from eating lobster and shrimp. Then I found out the shrimp I was eating was river shrimp. I was told that grilled shrimp is usually river shrimp. If you see the thai rivers you will understand

Such a fun and friendly bar! My fiancé and I stayed at this hostel for over a week and it was such a good time. Many friendly faces and events most days, tasty drinks and clean rooms!

I went to Lub d to use their co-working space This hotel/hostel is located quite dental in Patong in a nice street full of shops, convenience stores, massages shops and 2 minutes walking to the beach. The population is quite young due to the hostel part. Hence it can feel that the lobby and pool are quite noisy. You will find few snacks/drinks available at the reception. The co-working space is for what I came here. Located at the second floor, well isolated from the noise of the lobby, you will feel in a quiet environment to accomplish any tasks you need to perform The internet connection is good enough to have video call ( Zoom/Teams) and plenty of desks / chairs available. Even a small terrace is available. Free water available and a lot of sockets to connect your plug. The co-working space is secured with a special card access that reception will give you, so no worries if you need to exit the room few minutes to grab some snacks or going to the bathroom. When I was there we were only two people and when I was in call, it created a bit of echo in the co working room which can be annoying for the other guests. Recommendation better to have a better sound dissipation in this co working space to avoid echo when speaking. Price speaking are very nice. As non-guest price were 120 baht for 2 hours / 190 baht for 5 hours ( half day) For guest you have even a better price.

Really lively hostel with lots of comfy spaces inside and outside to lay around. The reps and staff are all very helpful and there are events most nights to get involved in. I recommend the pub crawl on Monday/Wednesday/Friday as it's a great opportunity to meet people. Local to the beach, a few restaurants and shops. WiFi in our room (3rd floor) was very dodgy and was hard to stay connected so we used our data most of the time, overall I would stay here again!

The property is built nicely but I faced the following issues. • very small rooms. You wouldn’t have space to walk if you’re travelling with luggage. • travelling for work, only my floor had internet issues which couldn’t be fixed in a week. They couldn’t over another room as the hotel was booked. • the healthy breakfast • Co working space is chargeable, which is why it’s probably mostly empty. Also very weak chairs. • I felt like the front office is under staffed which is why you might find some staff members to come off as rude at times. The good • Clean rooms and washroom. • the coffee club next door was really nice. • very close to Phuket’s Hotspot beach and Bangla road. • some staff members were nice • American breakfast for 200THB • dedicated Co working space. • you’ll meet nice people from all over the world as this is very popular to stay. • a lot of space to sit and chill. • the pool.

Like many other reviewers, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Very clean (especially for Asia, and I’m picky about this), the beds are comfortable, and it’s quiet. We stayed in the women’s only dorms and the hallway had an extra key-entry door which made us feel even safer. The pool area has lots of seating, though they definitely have a fly issue and it made sitting down there unpleasant. Despite this, I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re with friends or solo!

They have put a lot of effort into re-opening this hostel. The private rooms are awesome and the vibe during the day is chill then gets fun and social at night. Everything is clean and the service is polite and efficient. Fantastic location

This place is very cute! we stayed in a mixed dorm, it was very cleaned and they gave us a pretty big space for a hostel! Plus, the bar under the hotel, there is happy hours everyday! Drinks are good (you can asked for making it strong!) the staff here were very nice especially Bell and Newyear!

I stayed in Lub D for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly - especially Katarn and the two reps they had. Every night out was super fun and ranged from a pub crawl to pool party. The rooms were super clean and the hostel was in a great location. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking to have a great time!

Had such a great experience here for my stay in Phuket! I had a 4-bed female dorm and loved how secluded it was. The bar and pool are super fun and there’s a lot of space to hang out and meet people. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful! This hostel is also in a great location to walk to pretty much anything you’d like. I would definitely stay here again!
