We recently moved all the way from Houston. After looking for a place for over a month we decided on Barclay Square partially because it was my wife’s first choice, secondly because it is in the exact area where we want. First let me say it’s beautiful around here. Being around Riverside and all the trees nature is amazing. Secondly, the neighbors are wonderful. Since we first stepped into our complex we were greeted with “Hello! Welcome!” “Hey new neighbors!” And even helped up with some things that we were struggling with. Lastly, the management have all been overwhelmingly amazing. Since we first spoke on the phone and via email then a quick visit with Erica, to our lease signing with Autumn and the other extremely nice lady that was helping (I cannot remember her name but she was so nice I don't want to leave her out). There were a few things that we noticed in the apartment and brought to Autumns attention, she had maintenance here within a few hours. All in all, I don't think we could have picked a better complex and are extremely happy moving back after 10 years of being away and living in Texas.

I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND anyone to rent here they are dirty , lazy workers, no customer service skills, they always got roaches and mice in some of their units, they don’t ever want to fix things they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, they just put you wherever they please and expect you to deal with it. In the 6 months I have lived here from doing a 6month lease they have went through 3 different management and still don’t have the right management. So save your money and definitely rent somewhere else. I’m going to be leaving this place and I wish someone would have warned us before hand.

Horrible place to rent from.. When I lived there I had my car broken into seen people fight outside and crazy people trying to climb balconys to fight their "baby daddy" I felt unsafe as a single woman to live there, When I had to leave my apartment due to mental health reason I was not told that it would be considered breaking my lease I was told to bring in my hospital paper work stating that I shouldn't be alone and I did just that. Never once was it told to me that I would be charged a lease termination fee for this meter once was it told to me all these extras would be added on . I had assistance at the time I would have done what I had to do. Nope they just added all this and I got it on my credit report 2 years later. I called in today to ask about it they showed no empathy no ways to help nothing. Nasty place nasty people with the ultimate goal in screwing over people who already have it rough. Don't rent from these people they have no heart 💯

Not too safe. Really unwell upkeep wise. Crime and traffic are far too high and often. 3 apartment complexes packed into one commotion filled parking lot. Do not miss it and wouldn't do it again. Recommend anywhere else.

The management will dun you for rent EVERY month after you've paid because they are too lazy and stupid to do their jobs. Worst place I've ever liv3d.

Read the reviews this place is terrible "security is trying their best to keep disturbances to a minimum" but yet theyll be driving through the parking lot blasting music at 5am theyll tell you you just need to get tags for your car then theyll put a notice for a whole different thing i wouldnt reccomend this place to my worst enemy its amazing people can run a scam like this

I moved into Barclay Square a month ago. My move in experience teeter tottered back and forth. So far my stay hasn’t been horrible. The washer in my building has been out of order the entire time and the dryers never fully dry the clothes no matter how much money you add to them. I really liked that you don’t need quarters to use them so it’s a bit disappointing that they don’t dry at $1.75 a load. My next thing is I asked for a carport and still haven’t been assigned one, even after finding the carport number I felt was the closest to my apartment. My next thing is, is I am a universal energy practitioner who is working on getting my name and business into the community. I spoke to Andrea about me renting a community room and hosting free sessions for all 3 communities to come too. Obviously, I would have invited people from my social media platforms and added it to my weekly digital marketing. Andrea believed it would be a great idea (she has marketing experience). She directed me to waters edge because the area is bigger and more secluded for the same price. Waters edge was open to the idea until I asked if I’d be able to leave flyers, inviting their tenants. They said they would contact corporate regarding how to advertise and they have never gotten back to me. Which is a bit crazy since I’d be technically advertising for their complex as well. Which could’ve lead to new tenants for them as well. On one social media platform alone I have 18k people that follow me. Not to mention, you would think your landlords would want to help you grow your own business rather than frown on it. It’s just to bad that the complex decided they didn’t want free advertisements or money by renting me the room. I could see if my business wasn’t registered but I was never asked that. I also never asked them to supply anything other than a way to invite their tenants.

PREDATORY & UNSAFE APARTMENTS - Even if you give proper notice, deep clean your apartment, and replace any damaged blinds, they will bill you for more than $700 after you move out claiming it was for 'touch up paint, trash out, drip pans, and vertical blinds'. Not only do sketchy people wander the hallways and knock on your doors at any hour of the day or night. There have been multiple shootings nearby recently. STAY AWAY, GO ELSEWHERE!
