Top, sehr gut. Kleines nettes Lokal. Im vorderen Bereich hat es wirklich was von Kneipe. Etwas schumirges Licht am Tisch. Ok, bin keine 18 mehr.. da darf es zum lesen der Speisekarte auch mal heller sein 😂 Ich hatte das BBQ Schnitzel. Mega. Sehr gute Portion. Gut scharf, nicht zu scharf. 20.90€. Anstatt Pommes, wollte ich gerne Salat. Gute Portion, ohne Aufpreis. Top. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Dazu ein Benediktiner Hell, 0.5 für 4.90€ Dann noch eine alte Marille von Prinz 🙏👍, für 3.90€ für 2cl. Top Sehr nette Bedienung. Cooler Besitzer, bisschen mit unterhalten. Sehr angenehm. Alles in allem, sehr gut.

Update Januar 20th. Wieder da, wieder sehr schön gewesen Der neue Inhaber schafft es gemeinsam mit seinem Team das Versprechen einer gemütlichen Altstadt Kneipe gerecht zu werden. Die Speisen sind frisch hergestellt und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt hier. Draussen gibts noch einen Glühweinstand. Da macht sich jemand Gedanken 👌🫣. Wir bedanken uns bei der netten Bedienung und kommen gerne Wieder.

Our first time here and we brought friends from out of country, all of us enjoyed this place! The beer, sausage, schnitzel with mushrooms, and apple strudel were exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere and service were great as well!

Great local restaurant and bar. Cozy seating both inside and out. Good selection of local beer and wine. Helpful wait staff guided us through menu options and specials. English menus available. We ordered hearty soup, schnitzel, and finished with desert. My coworker and i stopped by early evening and were accommodated. I highly recommend reservations as indoor seating is limited.

Gemütliches Altstadt Restaurant mit sehr weitläufigen Außenbereich. Ich war bei bestem Wetter am Wochenende dort, und dementsprechend war es sehr voll und der Service war am rennen. Trotzdem fand ich noch einen Platz, und da die Medaillons am ausgehen waren, bekam ich noch ein großes Stück Steak dazu. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehle es gerne weiter...😉👍

Such a great place for authentic German food! Our crew thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant/pub. Beer was good, and food even better. The ambiance of the place is really cozy. They have a bar, and outdoor seating for nice weather. Looking forward to another visit here.

At last I found a good “Bürgerlich “ restaurant right in the heart of Wiesbaden! The service here is very nice and service with a smile because of Coronavirus the menu is a bit smaller but still very good and I can tell you I can’t wait for them to bring back their full menu. I had an onion schnitzel which was perfect you’ll have to travel a lot to find a better dish! Enjoy with one of the many different beer’s or Apfel Wein 🍷 enjoy!

German pub! Wanted Bratwurst before heading home. The wait staff was super nice and spoke great English.

Nice German restaurant in downtown. They have menus in English and the staff speaks English and are very friendly. Service was fast and very good. Nice atmosphere. Food tasted great and the portions were big. Prices were reasonable for downtown. We paid 106 Euros for food and drinks for 5 people.

Der Bäckerbrunnen ist Kult in Wiesbaden! Schade dass das Herrenschnitzel nicht mehr auf der Speisekarte steht. Das fand ich immer super. Beim letzten Besuch hatten wir die halbe Ente und das Rippchen. Beides war ordentlich zubereitet und lecker. Gerne wieder.

One of the best schnitzels I’ve had! Try the veal one, you won’t regret it!

We arrived at 815 pm and sat at a smaller booth in the corner by the front. The atmosphere was quaint and quiet on a Sunday. The bartender and server were both friendly and spoke english. We had a variety of drinks and he took the time to understand my specific drink and food requests. They ran out of spaetzle, I understand with it being late but he suggested mashed potatoes instead. I am happy he did they were amazing and flavorful. We both thought all of the food was delicious. We finished with double espressos. They came with a nice crema on top, sugar and a cookie. We closed our ticket so our server could leave and sat for a bit. The bartender took over servicing tables. We very much enjoyed our whole experience the whole hour and a half we were there.

Greatly prepared schnitzel with fried onions, and for the Kaiserschmaren, I have no words, really fantastic. Draft beer also excellent.

Excellent food in a wonderful setting. Situated on a pedestrian street with outdoor seating. We ordered the specials of the day and were very happy with the choices.

Comfy atmosphere, kind and smiling staff, and very tasty food. I strongly suggest to go there if you want to try great German food, you won't regret it.

Service was sassy but friendly. Food was decent. Price was okay. Kinda small and crowded. Our table was also oddly shaped which didn't favor chatting.

Schnitzel was kind of cold. Woke up in the middle of the night to vomit and likely got food poisoning here. Manager(dude with blonde hair) was extremely rude as well. Very disappointing because I've eaten here in the passed. Must be new ownership or something.

Ich hatte telefonisch einen Tisch bestellt, schon zu diesem Zeitpunkt wusste ich....das ist ein toller Laden. Sympathische, männliche Stimme mit genialem Dialekt (wie dehäm) . Die Kneipe super gemütlich, sehr nettes, freundliches Personal. Die Speisekarte vielseitig und das Essen super lecker. Preis/Leistung stimmt! Wir kommen gerne wieder!! Leider hat der Absacker nach der Vorstellung im Theater nicht mehr geklappt.😉Beim nächsten Mal!
