Considering that this is a traditional German restaurant it is bright and airy. The food is well prepared. My lentil soup was delicious and I haven’t had pork crackling like that for years. I thought the wines were really expensive.

A five star experience. The food was better than some of the traditional beer halls I’ve been to in Munich. Service was top notch and the beer was delicious. The crispy pork roast was an absolute highlight. Looking forward to returning for another proper Bavarian feast.

This was a great restaurant. Their pretzels were exactly as you would expect and want from an authentic German restaurant. Definitely make a reservation. We had a reservation for ten, but last minute, 5 people cancelled. They were understandably perturbed, but then after just asking us to let them know next time, they treated us very well the entire night. It was crowded all evening. The food was great. Parking nearby was at the Kurhaus, .6 miles away, or on-street. But it's worth a trip if you're in town.

Even though it's not the original location in Freising (which i strongly recommend), the spirit is there. Amazing service, food quality/ price relation is just about right and the beer is great (why else would you go to the "oldest brewery in the world" if not to drink beer?). Be it "Helles", "Weißbier" or any other variety you might feel like sampling, they are all great at representing one of the things Germany has best and is best known for, BEER! ;3

Weihenstephaner feels like a standard unassuming German restaurant when you step in. Went a couple of weeks ago and found a better than average experience. The food is prepared fresh and if you want the pork knuckle reserve in advance. If you sit near the kitchen you can overhear the kitchen staff pounding away at the next schnitzel to be served. The beer served is also very good. Staff is friendly and informative, a must experience if the opportunity arises.

Typical Bavarian-style brewery restaurant. Quick and friendly service. Tasty draft beer. Food menu with typical dishes. Quality of the food was good but nothing superb. A good choice if you are craving for a Bavarian experience in the middle of Wiesbaden.

My favorite German restaurant ever. Their shweinerkrustenbraten is God’s gift to this world. The pork belly, dark beer sauce in combination with the krautsalate and dumplings is the most amazing ever. That coming from a 95% pescatarian🤣. The 5% is this dish. Sorry if I butchered the spelling of the dish but I have a good excuse. I’m American

I wish I could give this place more stars as everything combined together makes this my favorite place to eat so far in Wiesbaden. I only wish I could do enough exercise to justify eating here every night. My personal favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel, but Cabbage special from a few weeks ago was very good! What makes this place extra special is the staff! I want to give a special shoutout to Petra! Such a lovely person and just so welcoming. I started coming here with a group of friends as we all just moved here and we love this place because the staff is just so nice! Jonah is also really great! The gentleman who pours the beer is something else too. We got to sit in the corner table just to the left of the bar all the way in the back and saw some techniques that were new to us. If you walk-in between 5-6pm you can usually grab a table right away. We've been coming in right at 5pm and there are always tabled available, but there are also plenty with reservation signs. So probably best to have a reservation if you want to eat here after 6pm and definitely worth asking for Petra or Jonah when you visit.

Best choice if you want to try barbarian style. Schnitzel good, goulash good, hacksen normal, wurst the best!! You can taste so many types of liquor. But some waitresses seem angry and don't even try to speak in english to foreigners. (Aber one older waitress was very kind and nice!)

Fantastic typical German cuisine, all the classics, goulash, Schnitzel etc, great beer, excellent, friendly and efficient service, the best experience. Highly recommended.

Service was delightful and food superb . Was so good I forgot to take pics. A dish with green sauce for appetizer was excellent. A pretzel with a special cheese was so tasty . Had the wiener schnitzel and it melted in my mouth. A must visit place. Good food , good service!

We travelled all Germany and this restaurant is one of the most amazing we have been to. You will find Bavarian foods in an amazing atmosphere. Pricing is fair, the beer is delicious.

Make sure to call ahead of you want to order a pork knuckle. The beers cold and the food is hot! Well, the tar tar isn’t hot but it was delicious. It’s a bit of a touristy place but when in Rome.

If you can, go after 6 pm and order the house special. I can't remember how to say it, but it's delicious 😋😋😋. Friendly service too!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Have never been disappointed with their food! Was even able to place an order for a duck dinner for two for carry out for Christmas Eve and it was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Nice German restaurant, good food, service and bier!

2 friends and I visited without reservations on a Monday around 7:30pm. We were seated quickly. The environment is classy, definitely at least a smart casual place or better (although there were a few patrons in hoodies). Food was phenomenal, I ordered the carpaccio, a starter, as my meal and it was filling and delicious. The server suggested a red wine and everything paired beautifully! An excellent choice if you're looking for a nice relaxing meal.
