Great for bird lovers, or just a stroll around the lakes. Plus a play area for the kids and a cafe (takeaway only at the moment), a lovely relaxing couple of hours with the family.

Loved this place, we've never been before and it's right on our doorstep. We bought ice creams from the cafe as my grandson wanted one, they were so good. We picked some BlackBerries and cooking apples from the hidden orchard and I made a pie the day after. There a park there also which my grandson enjoyed. The lake is lovely, you can buy a bag of seed from the cafe for £1 to feed the ducks on the lake.

Great little walk with children. You can see birds in the lakes and the little playground is great for 1-3/4 year olds.

Lovely place to walk the dogs

Good parking, small children's play area and cafe. Good place for a walk with attractive lakes with ducks and other water birds.

I met my cousin Susan there. We had a lovely walk around the park and surrounding fields with my dog Jude. Afterwards we called in at the cafe for a take away brew and cake. We we served by a very nice gentleman. He informed us of his new opening times and what tasty treats will be in stores for customers. I like it very much because it is so dog friendly, it's great for socialising dogs, and people of course during these uncertain times. Will certainly make it a regular place to go 🤗.

We love Orrell Water Park! Firstly the car park is large and there's always room to park. You can just park up and look out over the lake if you don't want to walk. You can walk around the lake, which is a lovely walk in itself, or you can take one of the footpaths that leads up into the fields for longer walks. There are swings for the children and a cafe/takeaway depending on the time of year, where we had very nice coffees and hot chocolates today. There are plenty of benches for anyone who needs/wants to sit. My friends and I consider ourselves very lucky to have Orrell Water Park near to where we live!

Lovely lake, you can feed the ducks and fish, play on the park or get lost in the woods, not much going on, but plenty of dogs and well behaved owners 😀 kids had a fab time!

Nice for dog walks, especially if you want access to water. Easy parking. Paths can get quite muddy though.

Lovely walk and nice area to be surrounded by. It does get quite muddy, but this is to be as the path is mainly soil rather than stones etc, it does not put you off going
