ππ Beautiful place , very peaceful pram and wheelchair friendly. No toilets . If your lucky you might see a deer . Look for the carvings and the fairy doors . You can't buy food here but a few picnic benches and normal benches take your own .

ππ The council keep this area looking really nice, I'm guessing as its in front of the life centre though that would be the main reason for them to though. If it was in a different are of the Borough I doubt as much time or money would be spent on it.

ππ An absolutely beautiful work of art honouring our beloved punk pop Pete Shelley. Shame about the cars parked in front but one of the best places in Leigh to place such a huge visual tribute. Free and here for you to see and sing along with.

ππ Lovely slightly out of the way nature reserve. Great for dog walking and bird watching. In the autumn you can get sloes from the hedgerows and make some sloe gin.
