Beautiful looking property, lovely for hikes and walks. Restaurant workers were really great and friendly. There was an extremely bad smell lingering around the inside of the property so we were unable to use the facilities as hoped. Reception workers were unwilling to assist! I sent a complaint about the bad smell we experienced and the reception were once again extremely unhelpful. Really still deciding whether quality accomodation makes up for terrible service?!

Don’t get all excited about the castle pictures, you’re not sleeping in the castle tower, princess! The hotel is a fine 1970s structure with basic rooms and good service. The staff isn’t the friendliest bunch around but this is fairly standard in the Netherlands. Good service without a smile (who has time for that…) Cheap rooms are single rooms which are - as expected- tiny but clean. Forrest surroundings are great.

An extremely great place for cool and calm stay. We stayed here for a long weekend just for a change of place. It felt really nice with awesome breakfast 🥰😍

Stayed here for a conference. Nice walks possible in the surrounding forest and natural areas. The restaurant is fine, but on the expensive end. Lunches are well-done and have good variation during meetings and conferences. The coffee and tea arrangements are rich, but indeed this has a price. They claim to be very sustainable, but I noted quite some packaging for snacks, single use cups for coffee breaks, etc. The energy use is likely high, because these are old buildings.

This is overall a decent place to stay, but nothing special. The location is great; it's situated close to the forrest with various walking routes directly accessible. Rooms are small and simple: the bathroom/toilet really needs work, the temperature/air conditioning was not great and check in/out hours could be better (15:00 in, 11:00 out). Breakfast is pretty nice and the bar is open until late, which is quite convenient.

Receptionist was friendly we liked the stay

The room was sparse and badly designed. The bathroom was IN the room, only see-through glass separated the toilet/shower and the room. Not the best pooping experience. The location was gorgeous. The staff was prompt and polite.

It's nice. This is a corporate training retreat kind of place so not exactly a tourist location. However it's very clean, quiet, and very good value for money so if you need a place to stop when you're in the area I recommend this place. Rooms are a *** equivalent so don't see the rating I gave as a bad thing very clean and comfortable with very nice staff.

Nice hotel in the middle of the countryside.

Good conference location in the middle of peaceful nature.

The ambiance is more of that of a conference hall than that of a cosy hotel. The atmosphere is more business than leisure. My room was not thoroughly clean with visible dust and stains. Design flaws causes water from the shower to flood the bathroom. Room for improvement on that subject. However the breakfast buffet is nice and so is the garden. The location makes up for what the hotel lacks. Good starting point to discover the region. Preferably by bike. Infrastructure is very good.

Pleasant conference centre hotel with decent restaurant and well stocked bar. The setting is great, surrounded by forest; good for clearing the mind! The rooms are a good quality though they are not sound proofed from the corridor noise. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

First of all, there was a menu change and it was not reflected on the website. We have not been asked for our Covid passes, even after enquiry. The service was a little slow, and lastly the steak that I had was not done well and was chewy.

Top marks for location and setting! Good food, pleasant staff and service and the city of Doorn is a short walk away. However, despite booking a superior room, it would have made dining in y/our room (under corona regulations) uncomfortable, as the room was modest in size. Fortunately we had both breakfast and dinner in the garden which was a wonderful experience. The lighting in the room was disastrous - the lighting was not where you needed it, shockingly poor design.

Fantastic place in beautiful countryside. Great ecological ethos. Good food and service with a smile. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Very nice location. Not so much vegan or vegetarian choices.

Beautiful sorroundings and wonderful staff. They waited for our arrival despite already having closed the kitchen so they could serve us dinner.
