We stayed 4 days in a row. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The entry and breakfast nook is first class as the decor and food is exceptional. Our room was very clean and the beds were excellent and they asked if we needed anything daily. It's a bit away from downtown, but there are places to eat within walking distance. Being a bit out of town gave us a feeling of being located more in nature. We'll go back again. Thank you.

we stopped in williams lake , tired if driving for one day. Reserved a 1 bedroom suite. The bathroom is filthy dirty hair , soapy water drops over everything, pulled back sheets to get into the king bed and there is sock fluff, hair and debris all through it. housekeeper too lazy to change the sheets I guess. or no room checker. former hotel executive housekeeper here. During covid, this is very unacceptable

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice and very clean. For a free breakfast, lots of choice-toast, muffins, cereals, fruit, yogurt, waffles, scram. Eggs, sausage, hash browns. Will be back.

Prabhat and all the staff here are very courteous and accommodating. The fitness center is small, but it's open all the time, and I had it to myself. I didn't use the pool. Breakfast was hearty, and the omelette was especially delicious. There's filtered water and hot water in the lobby, and their coffee is always hot. I got the room with the kitchen, nothing fancy, but sufficient and clean. The outlets in the bathroom were not working, but I had no need for them at that time. The hotel is well-kept and accessible right on highway 97. You can't go wrong. Thank you for allowing me early check-in and late check-out due to unforseen work/travel issues. Also for modifying my reservations on short notice.

Good Rooms but need to improve the services, especially the front staff. The rest of the things are awesome.

The hotel was good and clean. But when I gave them my reward account, they told me they would add my points to my account. I waited around two weeks, and there were no points added. This summer, I travelled across the B.C, and each Best Western I stayed at gave me my rewards points when I checked out. Their staff solved this issue very quickly. Thank you very much, and I appreciate that.

Always my go-to for staying in Williams Lake. Wonderful clean rooms and always a pleasant stay. Sid, the front desk recptionist, is also always professional, personable, and friendly. Could not recommend more.

We stayed on our way tp Dawson Creek. Was a bit disappointed that the pool was out of order. We had just driven from Vancouver, so was hoping to kids would be able to burn energy after all tbe driving.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Nice linens and good pillows. (Not too huge for a change - yay!!) A bit noisy on the lake/highway side. Not much in the way of gluten free offered for breakfast.

Full disclosure: I used the BW app as I’m a long standing rewards member. I disclosed our full party size and our 11 lb. Jack Russell Terrier accompanying us. TRAVELER BEWARE! Traveling with family from Vancouver, B.C. Made reservations while traveling from Prince Rupert and 15 min prior to check in, my wife received a call stating our reservation would not be honored. Had a three bedroom suite reserved and without speaking to me the front desk clerk cancelled our room reservation, with no offering of assistance. As I was 6 minutes away, we drove to the location to speak to the manager, Prabhat Kumar. I was told no assistance could be made, despite the website allowing the reservation and no additional requirements being stated to “verify availability.” I asked to speak to the manager and the male front desk clerk (did not identify himself) stated the manager was not in. I asked if I could speak to them by phone and was told he did not answer calls on the weekend as his business card had the hotel number listed. I asked if the front desk clerk could call the manager, he again stated I could speak to him on Monday. It was Saturday. My family and I were enroute to Vancouver after a scenic road trip of coastal B.C. I asked again if the front desk clerk could assist me as we were tired and ready to rest for the night. The clerk stated, “if I help you, I will be fired.” I recommend all families traveling with pets AVOID this BW location. The staff are not empowered by management to assist and frankly have no compassion for how they treat “valued” customers. I was told corporate made the decision about pets accessing this “pet friendly” hotel. I’ve stayed at countless BW across the globe. I’ve never heard of this. I will be complaining to BW corporate. My advice go to Sandman Hotels & Suites in Williams Lake. They are family friendly, offer the same accommodations with restaurant on site, and had no problem accommodating our small dog for a modest $10 fee. I’ll add Sandman Hotels were much more reasonable in price too. BW Williams Lake you should remember you’re in the hospitality business. How do you continue to thrive by kicking your customers out?

Have stayed here in the past and it has been ok, but my most recent visit I got bed bug bits all along the right side of my body as that’s the side I lay on, I had let them know via their email survey and no one has reached out as of yet, it been a couple weeks, I have been staying at bestwestern/prestige hotels for a while and am a Diamond+ member, unfortunately I will have to take my business else where.

One night stay during a road trip. Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the freeway. I think it's probably one of the better budget hotels in Williams Lake. Older, a little dated but well-maintained. Decent shower. Decent breakfast (cheesey omelette, hash browns, sausages, waffle machine, yogurt etc.). Dog-friendly for $20 per dog per night which I value. Wouldn't necessarily stay there again and would consider alternatives.

The pool and hot tub were closed, sucks but whatever. It was soo hot we had to leave the window open the two nights we were there and when we went to check out we let them know the bathroom fan wasn’t working and then they informed us their central air wasn’t working! And they still charged their regular $170/night, you would think maybe lower your prices when nothing is working 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was having issues with payment options (my fault for being ill prepared), but I was just grateful and thankful they were willing to work something out with me. My mother and I needed a place for the night on such short notice, and they were super helpful. This happened back in March earlier this year by the way.

Way too overpriced for what you get. This is a hundred dollar or so per night room inflated to a ridiculous price. The rooms aren't updated in the last decade and the paper thin walls and doors lacking seals allow you to invite whatever is going on in the hall and im your neighbour's room right into yours too. The suites are outdated and even more overpriced. Williams lake is in serious need of some finer establishments for lodging because it seems not many of the big names can be value or class anymore.

I got there after a long drive and had a reservation. The receptionist wanted a $250 deposit on my credit card. Took 20min to find an alternative since they werent ok with a cash deposit. The bathroom had a lot of hair in it and the walls are paper thin. All in all wouldn't go back

Great place to stay in Williams lake. Clean hotel, comfy beds, great prices, large room and good breakfast with lots of choices and it’s included in the price. Friendly staff as well. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

We were very thankful to have a room on such short notice. The price was fair. Excellent staff and breakfast. Our room could have definitely been cleaner and some better sheets. Also a fan in the bathroom is needed but we would definitely stay again!

First time to Williams Lake and was a little nervous not knowing where to stay. Apparently the Best Western is the best in town. We chose there to stay and they didn’t disappoint. The room was spotless and beds were comfortable. There was a little kitchen as well. We didn’t use it but handy for anyone staying with kids or for more than one night. The room smelled clean when we walked in. Not overpowering at all. Just a nice clean smell. We will be back. The lady at the front counter was very nice. She seems to be very busy. I think she needs some help. Perhaps someone should be hired. Both times we were at the front desk she was on the phone most of the time and trying to help us at the same time. We never saw anyone else at the front desk.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Best Western over the week-end. The place was spotless!! The rooms were spacious, clean and very quiet. The breakfast was varied and the eggs were fabulous. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially blonde haired Doreen who was busy filling the empty spots in the continental breakfast (especially the cinnamon buns) while also doing laundry. All with a smile on her face. The staff on the front desk always greeted us and the cleaning staff were awesome too. Will definitely stay here again.

Had a comfortable overnight stay. The pet friendly room was perfect for our pup with a back door that opened onto a patio area behind the hotel. Very convenient. Room was clean and staff were pleasant. Wifi was not providing consistent internet access but still workable. Will stay again.

Great stop-over accommodation for a night in Williams Lake, BC. All other accommodations in the area are not good. This Best Western offers coffee and a packed breakfast bag and rooms are sanitized effectively including remote control. Staff are very pleasant and courteous. If you miss the bagged breakfast there is a Denny's and Dog 'n' Suds restaurant nearby if you miss the bagged breakfast). Both are just fine for hot breakfast.

Overpriced and mediocre. Noisy...can hear EVERYTHING in the room above me and outside! If you want to have a bad experience at least save some money somewhere else. Nice receptionist.

Honestly a super solid hotel, Natasha is one of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve ever encountered at a hotel. As someone who travels for a living, I’m extremely thankful to find such a comfortable place while on the road in BC. Will be back again.

Ok. So you pay 160 bucks now for a so so room with peeling paint and tile grout that is black from age. I guess this is the norm now so I have to pay 250 to get a decent room must be inflation. Staff were friendly and helpful so that was a plus also breakfast was included.
