Since
the
manager
doesn't
seem
interested
in
responding
to
my
email
concerning
our
stay,
I've
copied
it
below:
Hi
Mike,
My
family
and
I
stayed
at
the
Fairfield
in
Williamstown
Friday
to
Sunday
(4/29-5/1)
of
this
past
weekend
and
we
had
a
few
frustrating
experiences
we
wanted
to
share.
When
we
arrived
Friday
we
checked
into
rooms
238,
240,
and
242
after
driving
all
day
from
the
D.C.
area
we
were
really
looking
forward
to
getting
some
rest.
My
brother
and
sister-in-law
discovered
the
toilet
in
their
room
(240)
was
clogged
and
called
the
front
desk.
The
woman
working
told
them
she
could
bring
them
a
plunger
to
use
themselves.
This
was
not
an
acceptable
response
and
she
was
not
willing/able
to
fix
the
toilet
herself
so
they
were
moved
to
room
208.
When
I
got
up
Saturday
morning
in
room
242,
I
pulled
the
comforter
up
and
noticed
a
few
spots
of
dried
blood
around
the
top
of
the
comforter
that
I
knew
did
not
belong
to
me.
I
informed
the
housekeeping
staff
who
were
working
on
our
floor
when
we
were
leaving
and
they
told
me
to
speak
to
the
front
desk.
On
our
way
out
for
the
day,
I
let
one
of
the
women
at
the
front
desk
know
I
had
found
some
blood
on
the
comforter
and
would
like
all
of
the
bedding
to
be
changed,
she
apologized
and
said
it
would
be
taken
care
of.
This
was
around
9am.
We
returned
at
5:30pm
and
upon
entering
my
room,
it
was
obvious
that
not
only
had
the
bedding
not
been
changed,
but
the
room
had
not
been
cleaned
at
all.
I
attempted
to
call
the
front
desk
only
to
discover
the
phone
wasn't
working
so
I
went
down
to
the
lobby.
I
told
the
woman
at
the
left
side
of
the
desk
that
I
had
asked
for
my
bedding
to
be
changed
and
that
hadn't
happened.
She
said
she
was
new
and
needed
to
wait
for
the
other
woman
working.
The
woman
on
the
right
finished
her
transaction
then
turned
to
me
and
said
she
could
give
me
a
clean
comforter
for
me
to
change
the
bedding
but
they
were
unable
to
change
all
of
the
bedding
or
help
me
because
there
were
only
2
of
them
working.
Meanwhile,
the
woman
working
at
the
bar
was
facetiming
a
friend
and
there
were
no
other
guests
in
the
lobby
so
in
my
eyes,
at
least
one
of
the
three
women
should
have
been
able
to
do
something
to
rectify
the
situation.
I
reiterated
that
there
was
blood
from
another
person
on
the
bed
I
was
to
sleep
in
and
I
needed
new
bedding
or
a
new
room.
We
were
then
moved
to
room
212
which
was
acceptably
clean.
On
Sunday
morning
when
we
checked
out,
we
were
asked
how
our
stay
was
and
shared
these
experiences
with
the
woman
who
was
working
at
the
desk
and
who
turned
out
to
be
the
same
woman
who
told
my
brother
she
would
bring
him
a
plunger
Friday
night.
I
understand
that
staffing
issues
are
impacting
every
industry
right
now
and
I'm
sure
your
staff
is
stretched
thin.
But
at
$350+/night
per
room,
over
$1,000/night
for
our
family,
I
would
have
expected
clean
bedding
and
working
toilets
which
I
don't
think
is
an
unreasonable
expectation
of
any
hotel.
Thank
you
for
taking
the
time
to
read
and
acknowledge
these
issues
we
experienced.
