Great experience, to buy baked goods or to order food made in front of your eyes and enjoy the stay. Everything is fresh, looks amazing, very cozy place to sit and have breakfast or lunch. I really liked the multicultural environment.

TERRIBLE service, loss of sale and business. DO NOT GO HERE. On Sunday May 29th at 430pm I was in line to get two smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels. When it came to my turn, I told the girl my order and because of the line of three customers behind me, she said she would help me after quickly ringing out them out. Confused, I politely agreed but after the first customer took extra time she still continue to serve the other two remaining customers behind me while stood with bagels I was hungry to eat. She did not communicate any appreciation for waiting. I patiently waited for the family of four ahead of me to weigh out their items and complete their purchase. Now she is making me wait to ring out three people before even starting to toast my bagels. I asked another work (young boy) if he could make the bagels and he said only the girl at the cash could make the bagels. Everyone can be patient and wait for the customers ahead of them - we all see you are the only one working. Why does everyone get to cut the line ahead of me when I am waiting just like everyone else. I don't understand that employee's decision making and customer service. Clearly each customer is not treated the same at this location.

Always a good experience at what a bagel. I got the smoked salmon Benedict on latkes and it was really good. Eggs and latkes cooked well and goes so well with the cream cheese and smoked salmon. My friend got the salmon omelette with Greek salad and really liked it too. Bit of a wait for a seat so make sure you’re not in a rush

Our server Tamana was/is absolutely fantastic. She was on top of coffee refills, accommodating when we asked questions and seems like nothing could bring her down. Very friendly and personable. The food was delicious and clearly the staff here care for their patrons. Thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch at our neighborhood What A Bagel. A definite gem!!

Tamana is a great server, we had a pleasant lunch on a Monday, weekend can be busy. The food is fresh and delicious as usual. Pictured is the mushroom Jerusalem toast and Shakshuka.

Went for brunch on a Saturday and it was super busy, I'd recommend coming earlier or you might be waiting a long while for a table. Service was okay, the waitress would cut into our conversation to push the bill even though we all hadn't finished eating, but she was good with refilling the coffee. I ordered a smoked salmon bagel with a side of salad and the bagel was okay, a lot of cream cheese. The salad was disgusting, you can see from the picture that it was slimy when it was first served, like it had been sitting around in the dressing a long time before being served. All in all, a mediocre experience that came out to over $20 after tax and tip. There are other brunch places in the area that are more worthwhile.

The food is so good. I have had catering before and did not know they have a dine in option. This location gives a home vibe and everyone is so nice. They also have the best and freshest bagels.

What a Bagel. More like What Happened to What a Bagel??? Based off of my most recent experience I am unable to reccomend this place to anyone. The service was hardly existent with employees who's focus is more on the weight of their customers versus their order. Not to mention that it is costs over $5 for a bagel with cream cheese to only be made incorrectly from how you order it. Save your money as the experience and the price you pay isn't worth the end product especially with so many other great Bagel places close by.

The bakery is not fresh and taste was bland. I return it back. I was very disappointed with the service as well. We waited for two coffees long time, once "barista" teach another how to make it. And coffee is poor... Would not recommend at all.

After nearly 30 years this is still one of the best bagels in Toronto. Salads are always made fresh never prepackaged. Great quick takeout. Excellent service. Reasonably priced.

Very nice staff! I was touched by how sweet and helpful they were. I also had egg salad on HW bagel and it was really tasty and fresh. The freshly squeezed orange juice was really good too.

I’m in disbelief at how terrible this location was, and how ignorant the staff was, the only nice woman working there was the younger one who seated us. we sat down, no longer than 1 min and the new waitress is rushing to get our drink order in, of course she gives us attitude when we say we need a minute with the menu as we JUST SAT DOWN. My coffee was watered down, they didn’t have strawberries for my French toast add on so I changed it to just a bagel with cream cheese and salmon… i tried to cut the bagel in half but had some trouble, I asked for a sharper knife but she just brought it to the back to cut, tell me why they cut the opposite way that I already started so it looked like it was cut in 4 which would have been fine BUT ONLY HALF WAS CUT SO MY BAGEL TOP WAS JUST FALLING APART.. Not the mention the bottom of the bagel was covered in cream cheese I can’t believe how bad it was 😂😂😂 My boyfriend is the easy going one and even he said “it was complete shit”, I wouldn’t have cared to leave a nasty review if the server wasn’t so rude but here we are, don’t waste your money dinning in, take out is pretty safe tho😂😂

Absolutely disgusting! We just picked up a tray of lox and cream cheese this morning ($85) and what a rip off. The tray is half full. Never going back there again👎🏼

Great bagels, made fresh daily, get a fresh sandwich made while you wait. Large selection of breads, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cookies, and other specialty treats. Eat in breakfast is very nice. Many locations. Service is pretty good, gets busy at times but line moves pretty well. I'm here 2 or 3 times a week.

Had a great brunch, after mass. The food is great, value is good, and serving is fair. Definitely for a huge appetite like mine! Love this place will come back again!

The BEST breakfast in town! Fresh bagels. So many flavour bagels - blueberry, pumpernickel, sesame, twister etc.. with different cream cheese flavours - olives, chives, dill.. the greens and strawberries salad is delicious. Poached eggs are cooked perfectly.
