I'm so hungover and tired, I should have gone home, but I was in Basingstoke and decided I couldn't not drive to Josie's. I'm so glad I did. Food is amazing and I feel human again now. Always difficult to pick from the menu, I want to try everything. Today had fried chicken benedict...so tasty!

Went for birthday breakfast had the American breakfast and bucks fizz. It was delicious the pancake was amazing so fluffy and tasted freshly made. I wasn't so keen on the scrambled egg it was a little too wet for my taste. My husband had the biggie and boy it was big. I really enjoyed my food the staff were friendly and service OK. I will definitely visit my local branch in the future I definitely want to eat more of the pancakes.

Probably the best brunch restaurants in Winchester. Josie's provided us with well presented and tasty food, excellent service and great milkshakes!! I would recommend this place as first port of call for anyone looking for a spot of breakfast/brunch. Very much looking forward to coming back, at also visiting the other Joise's! Note - they do not take bookings and a few times there has been an hour + wait for a table, I would advise getting there early to avoid disappointment.

We had a late lunch at Josie's. The sandwiches; the Fried Chicken & Toasted Club, were yummy with a good flavor. However, I would suggest taking out the middle slice of bread as it makes very difficult to bite through three slices of bread. The staff were friendly and provided prompt service. The atmosphere is comfortably casual.

I've never seen this chain in London. It has 4 branches so far but defintely one to watch out for. It's one of those trendy, American/Brirish cafes that provides breakfasts, lunches, and brunches that are different , interesting, and a little different than I have experienced previously. All in a positive way, i must add. It mainly attracts young families, couples etc. It gets really busy, but they have a great system similar to Nandos where they take your name and number, and they let you know through the app/tect where you are in the que. Lots of options for veg/ non veg vegan, glutenftee, etc. We ordered a vege breakfast with grilled haloumi and mini potato tots (or whatever you call it 😀 and I had a 2 stack American pancake with egg, bacon, and sausage with maple syrup. Sounds rich and fully of calories, which it was, but damn tasty. Service was quick, a little too quick in my case, where they got my drink and order wrong as it was rushed, but apart from that, it was all good! As it is a fast-moving place, paying for the bill is easy and fast, where wach rable has a QR code and picks up your bill once you have ordered. Quick, simple, and effective. Great place Great and food and a very modern twist to a lot of places like breakfast club, etc.

Wow…great variety of food with a superb level of service. Looked at prices and thought they were spot on for the quality of food and service I received. I’m so impressed and recommend Josie’s and will be telling all our passengers about this place in the future. Thank you for the best start to my Sunday! Tim Director Heathside Travel

A must visit breakfast/brunch spot in Winchester with plenty of vegetarian & vegan options on the menu. One of the most friendly & accommodating staff we have ever interacted with - all our requests were handled promptly and with a smile. And they serve some very delicious toasties on a choice of breads along with one of the thickest & fluffiest pancakes we have ever had. And even though we had to join a virtual queue for about 35mins before being seated, we would happily queue again for all the deliciousness on their menu.

After a stressful week and a tough day, going to Josie's was a great way for me to feel that little bit better. The waitress that served me was nice, polite, but also happy to leave me be and the Boxing Day tots I had came out super quick and were absolutely delicious. I know this sounds silly but I really needed it today, so thank you for running a place with wonderful staff, a welcoming atmosphere and great food ❤️

Delicious food. Great service. Very reasonably priced for this kind of food. Funnily enough when I told a friend who is local that I was visiting here he even said he was going to recommend it to me for lunch 🙂

Came here today for brunch with my partner and there is no way we could of left happier. First of all the staff were super friendly and we only had to wait 10 minutes for a table (we didn't book). We ordered the breakfast pancakes and the breakfast burrito and both of them were incredible. We both also enjoyed our biscoff milkshake which is easily 2 and a half servings. The staff were really friendly and we can't wait to come back! A must visit if you're in the area.

Great lunch with a friend. I had pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. I was allowed to add chocolate syrup to the side too. Pancakes were tasty. Very thick so became a bit much as they were like three sponge cakes on my plate. Ill opt for two next time. My friend was please with her vegan/vegetarian option too.

We’ve been a little quiet recently as we started to prep for an April that contains two house moves, a holiday, two birthdays and a birthday party!! However, we have managed to squeeze in a few bits of good eating!!! Where better to start than with this sweet monster!! Wow, wow, wow - it’s not often desserts defeat us but this one was just 5/6 mouthfuls too much! Some of the thickest and fluffiest pancakes you ever will find are located in Winchester, they come with loads of gooey sauce and delicious ice cream too!! This was the two stack and we’d probably recommend getting one to share between three of you… but be prepared to fight over it - as it tastes amazing!! Our fave things: The menu is brilliant, we could have chosen 6 or 7 things easy! 📍🚆| Just a 5/7 minute walk from Winchester train station.

In my top 2 breakfast places of all time. Gets very busy and doesn't take bookings but the text system allows them to message you when your table is ready. On both occasions the estimate of waiting time was spot on.. 10 mins and 20 mins. Great staff service, superb brunch menu and the food and coffee pretty perfect.

Josie's always great and the wait times are testament to that, booking a table in advance is a must. If you try and walk in you could find yourself with quite a wait. My partner and I had the Biggie Breakfast this time. I had fried eggs and wholegrain toast, she had scrambled eggs and sour dough toast. I'd say the portion size was fair for the price and the only complaint we both had was that the bacon was a little over done, however this is forgivable as Josie's is always packed and the kitchen are probably run off their feet with orders. It didn't take away from the overall experience and was still perfectly edible. The staff are always kind and helpful checking if everything was okay and if we needed any more drinks. At the end we just paid with the QR code at the table and left without a fuss. 4/5 this time because of the bacon, would easily be a 9/10 if Google allowed that.

Josie's is a busy and bustling food stop which delivers on flavour. Their breakfast wrap was delicious with a great chorizo style sausage and you can't go without trying their tots! So tasty and crispy!

Clear attention to detail across all areas of the restaurant, from the food to the service. Good sized portions, a bit on the expensive side. The avocado on toast with the poached eggs was a bit flavourless.

It’s all about them pancakes! Big, fluffy and matched with some brilliantly sweet treats. The cafe is really good and serves an excellent array of coffees and brunch items.

👍👍 Visited today with with my husband and 4yr old for lunch. Had a warm welcome when we arrived and was explained how the menu worked.
