Service is always great at the Keg. Food is pricey but worth it. It is usually busy, so the reservations are recommended. The only thing that kinda made it less spectacular was the amount of kids running around & youth just being loud & themselves, really. Not something you expect at some romantic, intimate setting. However, if you are just in the mood for some good steak, this is as good as it gets in Windsor. Skip the lobster bisque soup as it tastes like a tomato fish soup, definitely not like a lobster bisque.

We are from out of town, and we know what to expect at a Keg..good food, decent service. But what this particular Keg provided was exceptional service, without the really dim lighting and the annoying background music that's always too loud. Kirsten was attentive, funny and seemed to always be there, without being obtrusive and never interrupted our conversations to ask 'everything OK here?' Love Love Love this Keg, and Kirsten.

Came over from Detroit with my family. We made reservations and were seated immediately. Overall the atmosphere was just okay. We were seated in the back with two other large parties, it was quite loud. Not really a good view. The steak was just okay. It was prepared medium how I liked but was not exquisite in flavor. The best thing on my plate was the twice baked potato. The vegetables had an abundance of peppers and only 4 zucchini’s (I preferred the zucchini). Out of 6 of us, I don’t think anyone was wowed by their meal. The flavors were missing. …. Just okay. I do not believe I will come back.

My 12 year old daughter and I visited The Keg on recommendation from a friend. We were in Detroit for a hockey tournament and wanted to venture across the border in our down time. It was a great experience and a perfect daddy/daughter dinner. The staff had the perfect level of attentiveness and it made for a fantastic opportunity to set the phones down and have conversation. Natalee had a berry smoothie, caesar salad and the blackened chicken. I had a tap beer, french onion soup and a large cut of prime rib. The food was delicious. I'm sure we will be back again in the future.

Had a great birthday dinner last night at The Keg Steakhouse Riverside Staff were friendly, nice & surprised me with birthday delicious ice cream 🍰 💗it .

We had free cake for our anniversary. This is a beautiful location of the Keg. Outdoor patio has the view of the river and the city of Michigan. The steak is very tasty and tender. Service is awesome. Price is reasonable. Serving is enough. This place I highly recommend it.

Came here and the atmosphere and service were great. It was nice to sit outside and get a great view of Detroit while enjoying dinner. The food was decent, and I have definitely had much better for a steakhouse. However I would rank this place is a medium tier steakhouse as the food is decent, but not great. The house bread was very good, and the cheese butter is delicious and goes great with it. As for the steaks they are seasoned well, and maybe a little too we’ll as they were slight salty. They were decent cuts, but definitely not the most tender as they were slightly chewy. The sides were pretty good, especially the garlic mash. The dessert here was good, and as I mentioned before the service was great. I would come again for the vibe and view.

Went for my mom's birthday dinner and she got a complimentary cake to go. Very friendly staff and amazing service. Food is top notch. It's a bit dark in there and finding somewhere to park is a bit confusing if you've never been there. Overall, great experience.

It’s best to make reservations before visiting Keg. We made reservations but still had to wait a while before getting a table. While we waited for our food, we got complimentary bread. Although the food took a long time, it was good. I didn’t like the cheesecake, I think it could have been softer and creamy at least.

Beautiful restaurant, service was amazing! Everything I ordered was absolutely delicious. The lobster tail took me by surprise, I was not expecting a lobster tail to melt in my mouth, I ended up ordering another, same results. It was seasoned to protection. I am going back for more soon. I cross the border all the time this will be my stop every time. Oh yea I forgot to mention the bread was delicious as well. The steak was not mine but my guest stated that it was melt in your mouth delicious also.

Always guaranteed to be a good experience. It's a bit on the pricey side but the quality is unmatched. We love the view on riverside and service is next to none. Always keeps us coming back! Must try the Billy Miner pie it's amazing!

Every entrée was beautifully presented, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The filet and New York strip were flavorful and tender, and the chicken breast was crispy and moist. Service was at a level rarely found today at any price. Be sure to leave room for the Billy Miner pie. There's a story behind that name.

I’ve been to this location quite a few times, my time is always just “okay”. The food is delicious, but I’m more of a pasta person, so I find I enjoy those kinds of restaurants better for the menu. We enjoyed the seafood garlic shrimp and the lobster tails. Both delicious ! They also give a complimentary bread for the table, usually with a few different butters. The last few times I have made reservations 2-3 weeks in advance. The 1st time we were seated at a cozy table which felt secluded until a table of 6 was sat right beside us. The tables are so close we could hardly hear each other speaking. The last time I was there we sat at a 6 person table just for the 2 of us, it felt odd, as we both sat on the booth side together, because the table was too large to sit next to each other. The service was good, the server knew it was our birthdays so he brought us complimentary cake. I enjoy the restaurant, but I don’t find it very special.

Great experience for our date night, good food and environment. I had 12oz sirloin with shrimp and my wife had chicken with shrimp. Both meals tasted amazing and as usual the garlic mashed potatoes are always very good. We also had the baked shrimp appetizer, you should add a larger version for a meal i would definitely order that. It was by far the best part of my meal I enjoyed the flavour with spices cheese and garlic. Will come back again another night when we can find the time.

I was here 2 weeks ago. I sat at the bar, and the bartender Jill took excellent care of me! She recommended the ribeye steak, and it didn't disappoint 😋 It was cooked to perfection!! She made me a couple of drinks too. A Whiskey Sour and a Brown Sugar Old Fashioned. Excellent as well!! Can't wait to come back!! Thanks Jill 😊

It was our first time at the Keg Steakhouse and it won't be our last. First, it's in a beautiful location and if you are seated outdoors you will enjoy the beauty of the riverfront while you dine. Inside, the service is impeccable. From the moment you walk through the entrance, you are greeted with smiles and a service staff that are near and will dressed. For the experience, I expected to pay at least 30% more than we did for restaurants in this category. I found them quite affordable. The food was a "solid good." It was cooked, presented, and seasoned well. There wasn't anything that we felt was so delicious, we will order it again when we are back. But it was our first time, and it was just my husband and I. We are excited about coming back again for the experience with this beautiful restaurant and top notch staff. When we made our reservations, we wote about my husband's egg and tree nut allergies. And when we got there, our wait staff Mo, went above and beyond to make sure my husband knew exactly what he could order. We spent $131 CDN, without drinks.

I went here on Saturday night to dine with a few of my friends. Service started out really well. Appetizers and Caesar salads came out promptly. I had the lobster bisque which was tasty. My friends had the stuffed mushrooms and escargot. They both stated their appetizers were tasty as well. My friend was underwhelmed by her chicken entree and it was pretty small. Another friend stated there lobster was over cooked. I had the peppercorn steak which was tasty and the twice backed potato was a 3/5 for me. Overall it was a decent experience but I’d only go back with a small group since service was a bit slow.

Nice place but a bit pricey. Food always good and great deserts. Was happy to see thy actually checked Vacines shots before anyone entered the resturant. Atmosphere very elegant and place well kept and clean.

We've enjoyed the Keg many times and it is one of our favorite places in Windsor. The filet and lobster tail were as delicious as expected. Only downside for this visit was the temperature in the restaurant. Full disclosure it was during a really unseasonably hot spell and I don't think their AC unit was handling things well. It was warmer than usual and didn't offer the comfort that we had been accustomed to.

This is a great place for date night or celebrating, and that's just what we did! The food was delicious, and the drinks were superb. My husband loved the creme brulee for dessert. We will visit again when in town.

Came here last night with My boyfriend. Our server Spencer absolutely ROCKED. Took great care of us! Always made sure we had enough water and was satisfied throughout the night. Definitely the one to ask for when reserving a table! Other staff were really accommodating as we asked to change our seats (I know is annoying) but she did it with a smile and made sure our next move that we were satisfied with The food was great, steak was very tender and juicy everything was well seasoned. Will definitely be back!

You were here with our teenage son after the Windsor university open house. We came here so happy hour and we're seated properly. Service was friendly and quick. The prime rib sliders were a hit - highly recommend. Decent view of the river.

So great experience! I ordered fried calamari and onion soup that were all great. Steak and lobster tail were both perfect. It was for my husband’s birthday, and they gave us an ice cream pie that was so amazing! Thanks for all the kind staff.

We had an absolutely amazing dinner here. Our server Amanda was the best server we've had in a very long time. Food was delicious. The absolute best twice baked potato I have ever eaten. Bread was hot, fresh and delicious. Lobster was cooked perfectly. My steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. We will eat here every time we visit Caesars!
