Small open park right by the Ambassador bridge and Windsor Sculpture Park. There's a small memorial here, and some of the contemporary sculptures start on this side of Riverside Dr.

We've walked and scootered around the waterfront on every trip through Windsor. The artwork and scenery is amazing! Take the time to check out the sculptures and research the history of this beautiful Canadian city!

I love walking down at Assumption park in the day time. Unfortunately it doesnt feel the safest at night as there is only lighting on the restroom buildings along to the path. It's a great view of Detroit the Ambassador bridge and as far east as you can see. This is a popular place for people to walk, skate, bike and many people fish especially in the spring and summer. There are oversized sculptures along the path. There is also excessive amounts of geese droppings so dont wear new sneakers for your walk!

Nice place to hang out with friends or with someone you love. Network connectivity with most of the carriers is very weak so no Internet connectivity. I guess thats the best part of this place that gives you time to connect with your actual friends not social media friends

This place is great! It took 6 hours to drive by there, from scarborough. There are fishing spots all around the river sides. People are on walks/ runs in the morning and afternoons. Get a fishing license and visit there in the white bass season. Youll catch tons of white bass there. Also get minnows to catch those bad boys. Have a safe trip

This is a great place to watch downtown Detroit and the Ambassador bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor… the sunset is amazing as well and there are lots of parking. Kids can run around and have a merry time on the grass. In the evening, be ready to be dazzled by the Detroit lights. An amazing hangout place one must visit. 4 hrs drive from Toronto and straight on 401. A must visit.

The park is a great place to visit and wind-down...just be careful WHEN you decide to visit. Too often it is now seemingly overran by hordes of kids where the parents are nowhere to be seen! Apparently this public space is now "the village's" backyard!!! Not sure how you can excuse this behaviour as "cultural differences" though, as good manners, politeness and respect for others never go our of style regardless what you originally called "home" πŸ˜”

One of my favorite riverfront parks. It's such a beautiful spot and with the bridge right there it just has a nice ambience.

Assumption Park was the location of the first Roman Catholic Parish west of Montreal, Assumption Parish, built in 1787. Until 1952, Assumption Park was part of Assumption College, today known as the University of Windsor. Between 1952 and 1990, the City of Windsor leased the property for $1 per year. In 1990, the City became the owner of Assumption Park.

This is really nice walking trail/park with tons of photogenic spots. Could someone care to explain the parking bit, is it free or paid?

Nice sculptures made by artist from around the globe help your mind to be peaceful and let you be thoughtful. Positive vibes flows in the bank of river which separates two countries. Scenery of the Detroit and windsor from here is worth to enjoy. Chill out here and get refreshed. Loved this place all the way.

Such a beautiful park. Sculptures are spread around nicely, paths are clean, plenty of benches, a beautiful view of the waterfront. Flows nicely into the rest of the riverfront trail.
