1. We went there for our weekend dinner at 6 pm and waited outside for 25 mins without receiving the notification. Then we were lead to a table when went back inside without explanation, 2. The lobster soup was not only salty but quite bitter, but the butter biscuit was good and probably the best food there, 3. Waited for 20 mins for the seafood. Good lobster, not very fresh shrimps and crabs. Shrimps were bit over fried. Some crab legs were hollow, 4. We found some dark disgusting spots on the crab legs so asked staff there, were told these were deeply planted dirt on crab which was absolutely normal and on every of their crabs. Then we googled it and found the dots were actually leech eggs. Discussed with manager for 10 mins and received 25% discount, 5. Tried to communicate with the staff who previously said the leech eggs were dirt, the reply was “I don’t want to keep arguing about that with you”, 6. Left the restaurant without receiving any goodbye greeting even a group of staff were talking at the front. To be honest the 25% discount ($15ish) was just a return price of the crab, it was not a big deal to me and we were there for a Sunday dinner for some good memory. I still paid a tip even it feels so embarrassed and unspeakable as a customer talking to a service staff about the food which was not in good quality. But when I left there I just felt myself paid for some not-so-fresh dirty food and some “arguments” with different people at that restaurant. I’m not sure if they do feel there are issues with the food and the service but I’m sure I will not go there anymore👋

We went there for my birthday. Serving is quite fast.The freshly baked biscuits and coconut shrimp are the best. The rice is too salty and price is little bit too expensive.

This was my first time going to red lobster. My server went above and beyond to make my dining experience excellent. Extremely polite, quick, friendly. She thoroughly explained the menu and the specials and when I ordered she explain to me what I will be getting and what to expect. The food was amazing. Ordered the lobster platter for lobster lovers which came with two tails and the seafood fettuccine. One of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The lobsters were cooked to perfection. The coleslaw was delicious. I got the stuffed mushroom caps for the appetizer. That as well was amazing. I even overheard other diners raving about the food. I highly recommend this place.

Great Seafood Place. I believe the best in Winnipeg. Had the opportunity to visit Red Lobster over the weekend. Its a really busy place. Better make a reservation before visiting. They have an extensive menu with lobsters, scallops, shrimps, salmons, and even prawns. I loved their shrimp platter, where you can select for the flavor of shrimps, Great coconut shrimp, and sweet chilli shrimp. And the Lobster was really good taste, great fresh sea food. Customer service is also really good. Must visit again. Though note that restaurant is on the higher end for their prices, but worth every penny.

My fiancée and I visited for our anniversary dinner. Even though the wait time stretched to an hour and tempted us to consider Olive Garden next door, we were thankful we stayed put. I opted for the Lobster Duo paired with mashed potatoes and green beans, while she chose the Crab Legs. For a starter, we selected the Crab Queso served with Tortillas. For drinks, we tried their special Margaritas: I had the Spicy Pineapple and she had the Piña Colada. The Crab Queso was exceptional. If I were to suggest any tweaks, it would be to dial down the cilantro and reduce the salt on the chips. Regardless, it was so delicious that I'd order it again in a heartbeat. The Lobster Duo was delectable. I found the rock lobster superior to the maritime lobster tail due to its delicate texture, pronounced flavor, and a slight bitter aftertaste that I enjoyed but others may find off putting. The maritime lobster was tougher, requiring a knife for the meat, and its flavor was more subdued, getting somewhat overshadowed by the butter. Nevertheless, both were delightful, with the rock lobster being my pick of the two. My fiancée thoroughly enjoyed her Crab Legs. Regarding the drinks, the Spicy Pineapple was the only letdown of the night. As someone who appreciates fermented beverages and ginger beers, I expected something different. It tasted more like a pineapple juice slushie with, perhaps, cayenne and salt around the rim. I had ordered a double, which might have diluted the pineapple flavor too much or masked the ginger. It wasn't bad, but not what I anticipated. She, on the other hand, was pleased with her Piña Colada. The ambiance inside was a tad noisy due to the crowd. A minor hiccup was the towel dispenser in the men's restroom which was somewhat temperamental. Kudos to the wait staff, though. In spite of the rush, they remained attentive. In conclusion, it's a 9/10 for me. The beverage hiccup kept it from being perfect.

GREATLY IMPROVED AWARD GOES TO… Red Lobster - Polo Park 💐🎉🍾 After years of intentionally skipping this restaurant due to disappointing meals, low quality, sub par flavour/flavourless offerings, we decided to give it a try to celebrate my Aunt’s birthday on Nov 12, 2023 Also, this was one of my Dad’s (deceased) favourite spots back in the day so we wanted to feel like he was part of the celebration too. I believe the last time I ate there was at least 8-10 years ago. We are so glad to dine here, because it truly was quite impressive. Because there were so many of us, we were able to try different appetizers, all were great and flavourful, and each of our entree was made exceptionally well. The shrimp was plump, lobster was juicy and size was reasonable. The food was wonderful. The best part? Our amazingly attentive and well mannered server named “THOR”. He was so patient with us and just really took care of us throughout the whole experience. My Mom was so impressed with him and how he showed authentic care, not just for his customers but for his job. Thor, if you read this, our sincerest thanks. We really appreciated him. It was also nice to see the Chef come out and check on all the diners. We look forward to returning to Red Lobster Polo Park! Kudos to the whole team! Food was good and our server was very friendly. Unfortunately bathrooms were disgusting. Not what you expect to find at a Red Lobster Restaurant. Very sad none of the wheelchair switches at the entrance and at the ladies room was working. I had a hard time taking my mom to the bathroom and manage to hold the door at the same time I was pulling the wheelchair. Some of the staff walked by and none was able to help. It was another customer who saw my struggle and decided to help. This place should not advertise it is wheelchair accessible because with the broken switches, it is far from being that.

We were here to celebrate our 8 year wedding anniversary and indeed it was a wonderful experience. Our server was Keenan and he was extremely helpful. He patiently explained us our options and gave appropriate recommendations. The clam chowder was creamy, the shrimps were flavourful, the biscuits were comforting and the lobsters were juicy and extremely tasty. The dessert was on the house for us and it made our special day even more special. I would highly recommend going here to have an exceptional dining experience.

I’ve had seafood feast or something similar and it was absolutely delicious! It was two lobster tails, each cooked differently and shrimp pasta. The potion was super big. The lobster was very tender and was cooked just fine. The appetizer I ordered, was fried calamari, which was great. No strong smell and was not chewy at all. The staff are very nice and our server was really amazing. I highly recommend this place!

The service was great! You could see that all staff were working really hard. What we didn’t like, was our child’s meal. He ordered the kids popcorn shrimp with orange slices. It looked like they gave him popcorn shrimp from the end of an empty bag. The pieces of popcorn shrimp (if you wanna call it that) were so small and he barely got any. The oranges looked old and not fresh. Half of the oranges were green. We always loved going to visit red lobster. It isn’t what it use to be.

Love seafood and winnipeg doesn’t have many options so it makes red lobster shine even more 😀. Consistently good food, and decent prices. I’d recommend the muscles and popping in when they have endless shrimp 🍤

We never had a problem every time we come and visit this place. However we usually come here only for a special occasion because it can get fairly pricy. But… the Food is always good. Don’t get me started with the biscuits. That by itself…. Hahah. Service was very friendly and helpful. Even the manager came out to greet us as well which was nice. Following Covid protocols and you feel safe dining inside. We will visit with our next celebratory occasion.

So delicious! Crispy coating with soft, tender and flaky fish. Tasty chips. Yummy creamy coleslaw. Ohhh, but the New England cheddar biscuits which the waitress surprised me with, melted in my mouth as I dipped them in, YES, melted butter 😋. The melted butter I requested. The waitress was kind to serve it. Everything was perfect!! Besides the waitress, even the manager came to my table to check on me, and that was a surprise!

Red Lobster is one of my favourite seafood restaurants in Winnipeg. It is on the pricey side so I visit once or twice a year only. However, food is always delicious and customer service is excellent. I’ve never had a bad visit. Servers are very attentive. Biscuits are good. The lobster-artichoke-and-seafood dip and the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake are my 2 favourite dishes. The Bar Harbor Lobster Bake has all the seafood that I want to eat! Yum yum yum! Their Thursday Special is also the BEST! It’s $42 Dinner for 2 (Choice of seafood starter, seafarer’s feast entree for 2 with lobster tails, scallops, 2 kinda of shrimp, 2 sides, and chocolate wave dessert). Will definitely come back!

It's been a long time since I've gone out to a restaurant and had a meal and some drinks the waitress was amazing she did exactly as I'm sure they're trained to do and she was polite and she did everything correctly the atmosphere it was packed it was a Monday all you can eat shrimp promotion so there was no Empty Tables we did not have to wait long as we were only a table for two so they actually got us in right away and I'm sure many people who have been there will go back and I had a great experience and I had been there once before and will be going back because their drink menu is super cool and their menu for food for shrimp or Lobster or even steak is prime.

Every year on our anniversary my boyfriend and I come here to celebrate. 5 years in a row we have not been disappointed. We got here and was told it would be a 45 minute wait which we didn’t mind and got a text 13 minutes later our table was ready. The food is always amazing and never disappoints. Jessica t was fantastic!! She was super friendly and checked in regular to make sure we had everything we needed and that everything was tasting good. Thank you again to all the staff at red lobster for the amazing night and to help us celebrate this special day!!

We were seated right away. Restaurant was quite busy. ALL staff were smiling and pleasant, this was right from the front door reception to the gentleman that seated us, to our waitress! Our waitress made sure we we had a.great time, she not only asked if we needed anything she also asked if we were satisfied at every course of our meal! Our Meal was delicious and drinks were tasty. Fantastic dining experience all around. Thank you Red Lobster! We will definitely be back!

THE BEST steak I have ever had, not even comparable to the Keg or Montana's. You wouldn't think a sea food based restaurant would be known for the best steak in town but it is! Give it a try and you won't be let down I promise. Best service and food I've had in a long time. Try the mushroom caps as well that was my next favorite item! My boyfriend had the crab was also AMAZING... go here!!!

Met with friends while visiting the city. Our waiter, Sean, was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious, everyone loved it and service was reasonable even thought it was a busy night. My only comment is my friend and I ordered the crab legs, and both of us noticed that one "set" of the three were cold and had missed being flavored while the other two sets in both our meals were hot and bursting with flavor. Probably just a small mix up since it was such a busy night.

We had dinner at Red Lobster last evening. It was a lovely experience. We were seated in a booth and as we were settling at the table a nice young man came and asked if we were comfortable. He had noticed my arthritis was making things a little difficult. We thanked him and assured him all was fine. Our waitress was a delightful young lady who made us feel very special. The meal was delicious and well presented. My birthday was made especially enjoyable and we will recommend Red Lobster to all our friends

We went for our 19th anniversary dinner, it was so great to be out!! The service at red lobster is always A+. They hire the best of the best. This place has always been expensive, extra expensive I feel. They now have games on the table, digital tablet. Its $2.50 is added to your bill if you play any games. Its more of a place to go for a special occasion, celebration, birthday, anniversary, etc.. the location is great, its on the #1 highway.... its the last location in Winnipeg. We had lobster fest meals and we were so full on the amazing bunz, we took most of it home. See you next year!

Big serving. As always I like the shrimp feast. Calamari tempura was okay. Bun were always good. Friendly staff and service was actually fast when we dine in.

I’ve been going to red lobster ever sense I was a baby, they have changed so much over the years it’s crazy. The staff has always been awesome and friendly, the wait times to get in have never been supper long. However some of the things that made this place special is gone, you now get a paper menu rather then the nice leather fancy ones, there are limited menu items and the prices have been jacked up so high you can at least expect to spend 90 dollars for a table of two. We had the daily special and seafarers feast, the feast was awesome, but the sirloin daily special was half the size you’d expect for the price. Overall I love red lobster but I’m not sure If I want to go back and spend a chuck of my pay check for a smaller amount then what I could get at the keg. I guess you could say I have faith that they will improve one day and be the red lobster I remember.

We attend Red Lobster regularly for the fantastic Thursday dinner for two special. It includes a choice of starter, the main which includes a skewer of scallops, two kinds of shrimp, two lobster tails, rice, two sides and dessert for under 50 bucks. The portions are perfect as is the presentation of the meal and timing between courses. We can tell the restaurant and server actually care about the timing between courses. Everything was served was hot and fresh. I cant recommend this establishment or special any higher, I would give 10 stars if I could.

Special shout out to Lacy S - hands down one of the best service I have had in a very long time! Lacy interacted with my daughter so kindly, we were figuring out food options for a picky eater, she truly understood our need and went above and beyond! She was attentive to all of us. :) had questions about the offerring of the endless shrimp that varied from the Presto screen vs menu, but she was happy to go out of her way to clarify if its still available from the kitchen. :) Seriously, one of THE BEST SERVER ever! :) Red Lobster management, you need more people like her!

Had an amazing time! The food was great, our server was a joy, and the drinks were colossal. The fact that the three of us had such good chemistry may have impacted my impressions, but I would suggest that if you want to have the best possible time then you should also bring people you're going to have fun with.

An ideal place for family dinner and with friends. Shrimps are crispy on the outside and melted tender on the inside. Lobster is above the average. Mushroom is a plus，over expectations.

Jordyn our server was amazing. Very nice and always has a ready smile whenever she approaches our table. Food was okay… ordered from the shrimp endless promo. The first 2 servings were very good portions but the next ones were just half the number of shrimps of the first serving.

I have been to Red Lobster in many cities, and I have to say that the quality of their meals is relatively stable. Even when you taste overcooked seafood sometimes, you can still ask the waiter to change it in time.

Went for Shrimpfest. Food was delicious and service was great. One complaint - my wife ordered a martini and they brought it in a whiskey style glass - no stem - a third full. Apparently they were out of Martini glasses. I found this odd. I asked her " what drink is that? " She replied " Watermelon Martini". It did taste fine, it was definitely a Martini, just the presentation was terrible. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner there.

We had a pick-up order of the Family Admiral's Feast. Sadly, the clam chowder/ salad is no longer part of the package, i must have lucked out on a covid special. It is a great meal, with a lot of variety. Two kinds of shrimp, popcorn and butterflied, clam strips, scallops and fish fillets, generous savings of seafood and tartar sauce, baked potatoes with butter & sour cream, and the blue-ribbon gold-star biscuits. And at a reasonable price, given the value. Love it!

Absolutely fabulous!!!! All food was perfect and hot even though it was delivered. Since delivery drivers cost you a good deal, my question is why do you not keep some of your staff employed as drivers?

It's Red Lobster. If you like large seafood meals and don't live at a coastline, it's an A+ experience. Friendly staff and can't say enough good things about the "Ultimate Feast" dinner. Perfectly portioned and couldn't make my own for the same price.

I hadn't been back to Red Lobster for many years. I remember now why. Went back today and the food was awful. The lobster tails were dry and ultra salty. The sidings were a mountain of carbs soaked in fish sauce.

Monday night is Ultimate endless shrimp for $24. We made reservations so we didn't have to wait. Fast friendly service on all fronts. LOTS of cleaning being done. Food was good and HOT. server was really good and friendly. I haven't been here for years and I am happy I went back.

The staff on the phone was kind of ignorant and rude. I asked to called about the reservation since there wasn’t any info about it on the website. I did not know they don’t take reservations on Fridays and Saturdays. She just said we don’t take reservations on these days and hung up on me first. Without asking if I have any other questions. Felt very ignored. Detailed information about reservations should be explained on the website and especially with the restrictions placed during the pandemic. Not so good customer service and highly disappointed.

Service was quick, seafood not over cooked, covid rules they had were understandable, only 30 minute wait and that was quicker then they said, overall experience was impeccable, couldn't ask for anything more from them. Devoured food! Ultimate feast, classics buns and the best dessert!!

Always appreciate the excellent service and friendly attentive staff at Red Lobster. It’s one of the few restaurants we’ve been to since COVID restrictions and I really appreciate the effort the staff puts forth to follow the government mandated restrictions, as well as putting both the comfort and safety of their patrons at the top of their priority list. In particular I appreciate the ability to make reservations any day of the week right now.

I brought my sister to Red Lobster on Thanksgiving day for her birthday, it was also endless shrimp day. Our server (I hope I have the right name) Lisa was fantastic. I'm sure she would have rolled my sister and I to our car from over eating. I definitely will be back for endless shrimp Monday's and hopefully I can request to have her as my server again.
