Good park to be enjoyed by persons of all ages. Main problem in current season is when you pass near trees, worms are there and even on roads. Even in grounds, lawn, tables everywhere these worms/bugs are present. Hope park authorities will take necessary actions in the matter. Has good quality swimming pool, children's play area, theater, etc. for enjoyment. Children can enjoying playing in ground, slide, swings, etc. Has wheelchair accessible parking.

Classic Winnipeg park with multiple attractions. Always lots of families enjoying the sites with bbqs, parties, and gatherings. Great for driving around in your classic or not so classic car. The witches hut, Rainbow Stage, gardens, and great walking paths.

This park is small but nice. Especially in the summer. The variety of flowers is mesmerizing. Sometimes, it's hard to find parking, but it's not really busy on the weekdays. The restaurant offers ice cream and some simple food from the outside window, and the restrooms under the restaurant are accessible to the public year round.

๐ŸŸข WALK in NATURE โ€ฆ Being at this beautiful park, makes you loose yourself from the daily chores of life. The lush greenery, chirping of birds, ducks ponds, playful squirrels, etc. have a very positive effect on us. Itโ€™s a perfect place for picnics, walking, running, cycling, kids play grounds, swimming, football, volleyball, etc. The park is very maintained with clean washrooms, plenty of parking and also has a restaurant touching a large water body.

Playgrounds, hiking, ponds flower gardens are free to enjoy. There is a cost for admission to the pool and splash pad. One thing that is lacking is parking. It is a very well utilized park, so parking can be difficult, especially near the pool and main playground.

We went skating there one evening. The pond is a nice size, pretty good steps to get onto the ice, and there is a large indoor change area with benches to put on your skates. The ice surface had a few cracks and gouges in it, so you need to watch out for those. Pretty lights over most of the surface made for a nice evening skate.

How about people stop walking on the city bike paths, or at the very least not take up the whole path and get angry when I bike goes by. The park has such serious management issues and I'll be using my vote this year to change that

Great floral gardens and fire pits to use on these chilly nights. Although this year the bathrooms were not open nearly early enough forcing people to defecate off the walkways. Really disappointing and disgusting Winnipeg parks groundskeep is an embarrassment.

I think this is one of the nicest parks in Winnipeg. Nestled between the Red River and Kildonan Public Golf course this park has large shady treed areas and open sunny areas. The park offers activities such as playgrounds one for toddlers and one for young kids, an outdoor pool (with waterslides, diving board and splash pad) volleyball courts, lawn bowling court, flower gardens x2, duck pond x2, witches hut (Hansel and Grettle Themed), Rainbow Stage Summer Outdoor Theatre, winter toboggan slides and winter ice skating on the frozen duck ponds. There is a sit down restaurant overlooking the larger duck pond and they also have a takeout window for grab and go meals. Lots of wildlife, and there is a large walking/running track around the outside of the park. In winter the Kildonan golf course has cross country skis trails along the outside of the golf course that also connects to trails in the park also. Maps are available on the city website. On nice days, this park is always busy.

The park is so impeccable with the flowers, and lots of family areas to play and picnic. Stroll by the river is so pretty, and then thereโ€™s Rainbow Stage, outdoor covered theatre. Havenโ€™t missed too many award winning plays, love the ambiance. Walk by the Witch Hut ... itโ€™s so pretty. Walking around the park is very relaxing and youโ€™re in nature, at its very best. A must see and enjoy ...

I walk here and have visited it since a child. I think the city can revamp the park, they did a great job on the pool although the outdoor free kiddies pool was removed and a fantastic play structure was put in that area. I would still like to have seen a free wading pool for the little ones. Overall nice park to walk around.

One of the most beautiful parks in Winnipeg. Some of the trees are hundreds of years old, there is a duck pond where geese also like to land, and lovely flower gardens. Many people seem to enjoy walking, running or cycling around the park on the road or paths. If you haven't been I would highly recommend you go as soon as you get the chance. I little nature getaway in the city.

Kildonan Park is a jewel. Something for everyone. Play structures for the kids, a pool in the summer. Picnic tables all over. Walking trails, biking around the loop, loads of empty space to run around, play soccer, or touch football, frisbee football, BBQ structures and winter slides. There are plenty of ducks and geese in the parks water ways, dogs are allowed, on leash of course. It's a lovely bit of nature in our bustling city.
