😠 So I never leave reviews on Google, but as a store manager myself I feel like something needs to be said. I've been going to this shoppers drug mart location ever since my wife and I bought a house in the area. For the most part I find the pharmacy staff, and the cashier's by the checkouts very frie... People often mention staff, pharmacy, service, location, store, prescription, owner, prescriptions, time, manager,

After 30 plus years with this location I have quit doing business with all Shoppers Drug Marts. Three months in a row the Pharmacy messed up my prescription renewals. They kept telling me that my prescription wasn't filled because my Doctor's office hadn't responded. Turns out Shopper's computer system says it sent a Fax to my Doctor but it didn't send a fax. The last Pharmacist I dealt with said there was a glitch in their computer system and there was nothing they could do about it. You should have seen the look on her face when I asked "why don't you fix the system". If you are using their app and you are renewing a prescription that has no more refills it gives you the option to request the Pharmacy to contact your Doctor - it doesn't sent a fax request to Doctor even though the system says it did. You can see from other reviews that service has really gone down under new ownership. The previous owner knew me and greeted me by name. I have never seen the new owner there. Now it seems to be different staff everytime I come in. Miss you Arnold ? Moved my prescriptions to a new grocery Pharmacy located near the Outlet Mall.

As a former pharmacist I am so utterly disappointed by this pharmacy. I’ve been going there only because of convenience- but numerous bad experiences would make me say- it would be hard to do much worse that what I’ve experienced here. An example- my daughter had croup and high fevers. We’d seen her physician and gotten the usual treatment for non-ER cases (a single dose of a steroid) but she had vomited most of it up. Her physician was kind enough to call in a refill. I called the pharmacy shortly after asking about whether or not they had received anything- I was told not. Called again 15 minutes later and was rudely told that, “they’d just looked”; I mentioned that it would be a voicemail not a fax and was told, “there was nothing”. After 1 hour I called again, desperate, yet again was told they had nothing. Out of desperation and trying to avoid taking my kiddo to ER I begged a friend to call in a script for the medication. Had previously called the prescriber to say the prescription still hadn’t called in (not knowing- maybe they had gotten tied up? Busy with an emergency?). After 2 hours of fretting about my burning up toddler, Tylenol, and Advil, I called a last time and was told by a very irate staff (after they actually went to review their phone messages that they lied to me that they had checked) that yes, “There were five phone calls by two different physicians trying to call in the same medication!” then rudely got told, “it’ll be at least an hour” and then was hung up on.

i visited this Shoppers drug mart this week wanting to have a prescription filled. I was informed that the wait time was 2 hours! I had other errands to do, so i left and came back. When I returned to pick up my prescription, the staff member could not find it. Then they looked in the computer and my information was not on file? Surely within 6 hours, one would expect my prescriptions would be ready. So, i just asked for my prescription to be returned to me, but even that was a task as it was lost? I am disappointed at the lack of care and attention. I'm not alone in noticing the downward spiral of service here. Friends discuss when we're at Rady or synagogue about the "change" in service from this pharmacy. There is not any staff to attend to your needs, they are very rude and condescending. Their superiority attitude may impress some. I can speak for the majority of the community, this store has nothing to be proud of. The pharmacy staff can perch on their pedestal and look down at us. Just realize, there is a long fall ahead. . I and others will absolutely not have any prescriptions filled here in the future. This store was an integral part of the community for many years. Sadly new ownership has changed that. I am sure Safeway pharmacy can more than meet the needs of our community.

Ever since the new ownership has taken over, they have reduced staff by at least 50%. Phone never gets answered. I do not fault the staff. Staff is completely overworked, flustered and overwhelmed with phone calls while trying to fill prescriptions and help customers in the store. The only explanation is the new ownership has cut stuff to increase margin. I have never seen the new owner at the store in the past 3 months since she took over. Past owners used to work the counter just like everybody else. This is by far the most immature business model I have ever seen. We have decided to start looking for a different pharmacy.

This location is not the same anymore. I have been a long time customer at this location, at the least 12 years. I looked forward to the service I used to receive when I came in, but sadly only a few familiar faces remain and the great service and smiles have left as well. Thank you for the past great service and kind staff. I have now transferred my prescriptions to another location, as the privileged new owner doesn’t seem to know what she is doing.

Staff Pharmacist is too busy to even consider going through process of prescribing a T1. He opened with a "Yeah... I don't really prescribe T-1's" hoping I would just go away. Sore throat pain kept me up all night and 600-800 mg of ibuprofen not quite enough. Had to go next door to Safeway where the pharmacist had more support staff and acted like an autonomous professional. She saw that I had not filled any medication the past 6 months, heard my symptoms and prescribed a short days supply. There is still a place for T1's in therapeutics albeit a small one.

This pharmacy has poor communication and management. I have encountered rude staff, and lack of accountability for error. I have had medications shorted, medications mixed at an incorrect concentration and time sensitive medications for a child not filled on time.

I have never experienced such terrible post office service than I have at this location. The post office manager Justin is rude, arrogant and the most unhelpful employee I have ever dealt with. He had me in tears when I was trying to pick up one of my packages and refused to give it to me due to address issue. Instead of being kind and speaking nicely to me about how to come to a solution for the situation he was smug and had a very "not my problem" attitude. Its sad because we just moved to the area and this shoppers location will lose all my business that they could have had all because of Justin.

I hope someone sees this, This morning April 3rd around 830 I went there to buy smoothies and meal replacement due to me being sick from the stomach flu. They had expired products on the shelves for over a week. I kid you not I have my reciept and pictures to prove. How can a place that is suppose to be promoting healthy living be doing this ?. I got even worse now since I started to drink the smoothie and noticing that it started to turn green at the bottom. This is very sickening and if I end up at the doctor for something worse I'm holding them responsible. How can you have expired food on your shelves first thing in the morning

The staff here remember me by name, they are kind and helpful. They are always wonderful to me, I’ve never had a bad experience. A lot of customers are impolite and demanding, which is unfair and stressful. You should always treat others as you want to be treated! I thank them routinely for their service, they really go above and beyond. During the pandemic lines were crazy long and wait times long, but that wasn’t the staff’s fault and they shouldn’t be treated poorly because of something not in their control. Seriously wonderful staff. Thank you for all you do!

Do not ever buy electronics from Shopper's Drug Mart! They have a ridiculous no return policy; why they even bother selling them is beyond me. Stick to London Drugs.

Not safe here, thevies can easily walk inside the store and pick whatever they want. There is no security or loss prevention. Staff looks terrified. I was with my family, we don't feel safe at all. Thats horrible. Store has to do something for the safety of employees and customers.

Seriously! The store closes at 10 and at 9 p.m. they say they are very busy and cant take a passport photograph. The services are to be available till the store closes. Asked me to come next morning as if no one has to go on work and free to come by their time. Never coming back to this location ever. Staff was rude and manager directly said NO.

I have been a customer of shoppers tuxedo for the past 7 yrs. My most recent visits have been met with long waits, inaccurate information and a very non caring attitude. I have therefore moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. I noticed the new "owner" photo is non existent on the wall? Is this a sign that there isn t a competent person or just a temporary owner? I have talked to other friends in the community. We are so disappointed with shoppers drug mart. Shame on You!

So I never leave reviews on Google, but as a store manager myself I feel like something needs to be said. I've been going to this shoppers drug mart location ever since my wife and I bought a house in the area. For the most part I find the pharmacy staff, and the cashier's by the checkouts very friendly and helpful. However, I was in the store the other day buying a few things for my wife, and I couldn't help but overhear what appeared to be the store manager gossiping and talking down about her staff with the cosmetics associate. If I were the front store manager at this location, I would be embarrassed. You are a joke of a manager, and your staff deserves to have a better leader. I didn't get her name, but she was a largely built woman with brunette hair who was casually dressed. I understand the frustrations that come with being in retail management, however this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable, and the manager at this location is clearly too incompetent to be in this position. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Cheers!

Some of the pharmacy staff here are awesome, kind and patient people, and I thank them very much. You never really know how something simple as being polite and understanding (or at least trying) can affect someone so deeply, especially if they are already in a bad place. To the staff who don't know me, my medical history, my story, etc. though, please try not to judge patients so harshly. I know it's impossible to know which patients really need their medication and which ones are just abusing them, but at least treat the patient with respect. Even if they ARE just seeking to abuse, they are probably in more emotional, mental and physical pain than you can imagine. And you don't know their story. I slept half my life away before being diagnosed with narcolepsy. I just want to be awake to spend time with my family and do other things that normal people take for granted. I'm still working out dosages and medications with my doctor. It's totally fine to check with doctors to make sure there are no mistakes, but no need to belittle people who are just trying solve legitimate medical issues.

The quality of the service dropped significantly in the past year or so. It is sad that such a reputed pharmacy, does not keep up the quality of the service. We will change pharmacies. I hope that Shoppers will work on improving the service at Tuxedo location.
