clean & well organized store, some of the employee is very nice. personally: some promotions in the store or on flyers is not a real low price offer, just play games on words...

This place has really gone down hill, they seem more interested in selling cheap junk and Christmas garbage and pushing pictures with Santa then actual selling outdoor products. Many items didn't have prices, employees are more interested in socializing then helping. No one helped me while 3 employees stood around the airgun counter talking. Not impressed, better off shopping at smaller businesses.

Best place ever. Ive spent more money here then anywhere and I regret nothing. Spending money on quality gear that gets you outdoors enjoying mother nature is never a waste. The friendly knowledgeable staff is always useful to chat with. If you watch for deals you can get some excellent gear at a great price. My cabelas brand hunting backpack is going on its 7th year and everything is still perfect. As is my ice shack, propane heater, jet sled, ice auger, trail cameras, havalon knife, ground blind, baffin boots, speed freak hunting boots, bear spray, life straw and on and on and on!!! P.S. Don't tell my wife

Came in to purchase a jaw jacker which was on sale and they were out of stock. I was encouraged to order 1 on line, so I did. I was told 7-10 business days. Well that was a farce. Been 13 business days and is only now shipping from Calgary. I’m the meantime I’ve missed 3 weekends of using it. They have them now in stock and wouldn’t help me out at all except to say I could buy another 1(but at full price)and exchange it when mine came in. learned and with no offer of any kind or support from the staff I’ll now take my business elsewhere and NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN. Beyond disgusted and disappointed.Now I get a call to come pick up the item ordered and THEY SHIPPED THE WRONG THING! BE AWARE PEOPLE. don’t deal with them. The FISHING HOLE is a WAY BETTER place to shop!

I’ve only been to Cabela’s a few times. There is plenty of Parking. The parking lot and building entrance areas very clean. Inside the store also clean. I needed to get a game tag/hunting licence. The licences area was busy, but I was served quickly after entering the store. The store associate was polite and friendly. They processed my ordered quickly. This visit was very pleasant.

If you enjoy being followed and stared at by the staff depending on how you dress you’ll love this location, satisfaction guaranteed. Hadn’t been to a Cabela’s in over 8 years and was excited to go back. Then within 30 seconds of entering I was very blatantly being followed down every aisle and stared at by the workers and clerks. Never have I been treated this way in such a blatant manner in any store I’ve ever been to. Not to mention all of the staff I asked for help from were extremely blunt and non conversational.

Recommend this place for all family , we had such a fun there including free photos with Santa.

Store was amazing back in the day. Gun enthusiasts loved to visit the gun libraries who are now empty. ATV enthusiasts shoped for accessories and clothing now maybe hand full of items... Looks like it's turning into a seasonal store...fishing people are defently the target ...back of store is 25% seasonal for ice fishing. I found a certain lack in hiking accessories...no day backpacking gear ... no traveling gear... no warm weather clothing for the snow birds...I think cabelas has more than ample space for a small travel section. And should definitely get many more backpacks. Camo is nice but hickers don't need to blend in. Get more colors. Store is definitely a lot more quiet than it used to be. Market is kinda rough and people have smaller budgets for fun expensive toys. "Maybe why fishing is taking over the store " it's a cheaper sport to invest it !

Beautiful! If you like hunting or fishing or nature, if you are an outdoor cat, this is totally for you. It is an excellent store with lovely decor, yet it is a bit pricy, but you will love it.

Deals to be had! Otherwise expensive! Astecally pleasing! Clean and love the mountainous waterfalls!!! Great for window shopping. Bathrooms are ultra clean. One of kind store. Helpful and friendly staff!!!

Amazing people and help is at all times available. I drive an hour every week to come here. Even just the placement of shelves makes it so easy to move around

I had really great experience here. The guy Ronald who works in the firearm department is awesome. The service he offers is professional, patient and friendly. I got there is kind of late, and it’s not far to close. My English is not very good, But he never rushed me, also he was very nice patiently helping me and answering all my questions. At the end I get the products that I wanted. Thanks Ronald!! And I will definitely recommend to my friends.

This store really is like a candy shop for adults. Lots to see and do. There is something for everyone here. Regardless of your age. Lots of parking and a well organized parking lot. Friendly staff that actually know what they are talking about. Well for the most part. I would say, if they didn't know everything, they atleast read the box to help with some of the info. I honestly like coming here. Lots to see. I don't always buy, and there is no pressure. It's nice. Some products are over priced, a shame that they don't price match. But still other shopping here. They often have sales. My advice, shop at the beginning of the sale. All to often, they run out of product before the sale ends. Very clean store and same goes for the washrooms. Well organized layout and plenty of space within the aisles. I will shop here again.

Love this Cabelas, everyone is super nice that I dealt with. There was one lady in the shoe department, I wish I got her name. She was amazing, so nice and caring, biggest personality on her. I'm sure you'd know who I mean if you met her. She was extremely helpful. And just all the cool stuff in the store also... so many things I want, just wish I was a millionaire.

Came here just to walk around and browse felt like every corner we turned a worker would pop up and be looking at us but we didnt even get acknowledged until I noticed one of the managers come out of the office and waived him down he was nice and went over product pricing and was right outta there after that

It's so beautiful inside, great representation of the various animals you may come across. Staff is well knowledged and can help you with questions regarding your purchase. One of my favourite things about them is that their hats are very affordable and are really comfortable. Always a great experience here, you can even pick up a fishing license from customer service.

All staff were great. Gave good advice and never sugar coated anything for us novices walking in! Prices were reasonable and there were some sales as well. Definitely recommend for all hunting and survival needs !

I had a awesome experience at this store. BONNIE was very helpful. I had previously bought a Item on sale, and now I wanted to buy more, but the Item was not on sale anymore. But BONNIE mad it happen, I was able to get the same sale price (50% off) THANKS A BUNCH.

Had a somewhat negative visit today . The firearms staff need better training. Pairing the incorrect ammo with a newly purchased firearm, results in a poor experience. Love the store and products. Staff just need some book time.

Cabela's is pretty much the only outdoor based store in Winnipeg so I'm always there buying stuff. The downside is that for the past two months they've barely been restocking the racks, especially in the camping section, clothing and knives. Hopefully they'll stock up soon because I don't want to pay shipping and handling for a place I live 3 blocks from.

Very impressed by the knowledgeable staff, very wide range of products, and customer service was so helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions. They made sure I had everything I needed before I left my first stop in. Friendly cashiers at checkout, too! Really exceeded my expectations!

Great sporting goods store. Interesting taxidermy animals to see. Lots of products. Currently has a photo set up till Dec 24th where you can sign up online to book a session to get a free 4x6 photo with Santa behind you. Also sells fudge and nuts.

Associate at the entrance and in the department were very helpful and friendly. However person at the checkout left me puzzled and uncomfortable with her comment. We (two adults) were buying children shoes for our children. Associate asked if we tried them on. We joked that none of them fit us. Then she checked all the boxes, very thoroughly. Not just checking the sizes but also digging inside of them. I asked why out of curiosity, seemed a bit excessive. Associate said she is checking for memory cards, as that’s how people steal them. And it’s ok, if that’s the part of the job and they have to check the boxes, fine with me. But her comment after was “now you know how we feel when they check our bags”… What does it mean? Was she being vindictive towards me? Or The way I look? Trying to insult me, people of the same origin? No idea… but I think this associate needs to learn to leave her personal issues in the locker room or at home. With how our world is going nowadays, comments like that can be easily taken as discriminative.

Best place to go for outdoor goods! Love their fishing section, they got everything you can ever need! Staff are very helpful and friendly, prices are great and lots of sales throughout the year if you don't mind waiting!

Very friendly staff, we were asked frequently and in a very positive and polite manner if we needed help. The staff even recommended good deals and products that might be of interest. The selection is vast, if you are looking to find anything for the outdoors for anything you are likely to find it here. Prices vary on the wide range of products, you will find entry level, more affordable products all the way up to high quality, expensive, premium products.

Nice place for hunting, camping and sports stuff. I bought cots and used in camping. Cots quality is good and perfect for camping sleep. Price was good. Staff is very welcoming and very helpful if you are looking for something and you couldn't find it.

It's so much fun to just roam around this store. You can find almost everything for your hunting, backpacking and camping trip. They have a nice water fountain back of the store. They're are lots of associates to help you out with any questions.

I went in looking for 00 buckshot and couldn't find it on the shelf although it said it was in stock online. I asked someone at the gun counter and he was quick to tell me that they're not in stock. He didn't check the computer to see if it was available, and when I told him that it showed in stock online he said it must be an error. He went on to tell me how #4 buckshot is actually better even after I told him I needed 00 specifically. Next I went to customer service who was able to check the inventory on the computer and there were 30+ in stock in the warehouse; she had someone bring them up right away. I spent $200 on ammunition which I wouldn't have if I just left after talking to the first employee. Even if it was an error on the online inventory, the first employee didn't make an effort to look for the item or to rectify the error on the website. I gave two stars because the girl at customer service was able to find what I was looking for.

Weekly trips is always on the plan. Store is spacious..friendly staff. Prices are a bit pricey but their deals are amazing. Our family hunts and camps so it's always a bonus coming to this store

The customer service that my brother and I received from Marcus exceeded my expectation. My brother and I are finding a new hobby and we were looking to buy 2 new firearms. Marcus came up to us and asked what he could help with. He then showed us multiple firearms, worked with our price range and showed to be very knowledgeable about the products Cabela's had available. He then showed us all the accessories that he recommended for the maintenance of the firearms. He had no judgment and treated my brother and I with respect.
