To say that Kim was extremely rude to us at the self checkout on September 24th, 2022 would be an understatement. I arrived at the self checkout only for Kim to start, without our permission, scanning my items (so much for self checkout). I asked what was going on and she started talking loudly. I wasn’t sure what she was scanning and what she wasn’t scanning. I asked what she was scanned. She said she scanned the sugar and flour. I asked, which sugar? As we had multiple types of sugar in the kart (white granulated and powdered). She YELLED, verbatim, “THIS IS ICING SUGAR NOT SUGAR” loudly. Suffering from anxiety this sent me into a panic attack after I left the store. We had to triple check what was scanned. What’s more, Kim demanded to see my credit card. Not once before I have had a clerk at any grocery store ask, never mind demand to see my credit card. This is unacceptable and having recently suffered from credit card theft, a security issue and is very alarming. There is no need for Kim to have seen my credit card. This has to have been the single most worst customer service experience I have ever had, and the whole experience was unsolicited by me, hence why I used the self checkout. I will not be returning and will be taking my business elsewhere, where I won’t be attacked and berated at the self checkout and where I can complete my shopping with dignity and respect.

This Costco is very racist which my experience because I m standing in the line but the lady completely ignore me and ask other person behind me to help. Honestly if they think immigrants are not here to spend money just tell them flat out. You re not welcome here at all. This is not the first time happened with me. Poor service I would give them zero star if I can.

Haven't been to this location in awhile. Was a little crazy. Very busy for the last hour before closing. Found some products not available at my usual store. So maybe I'll come back. Bit of a trip but if I out this way I'll come by.

it was awful!!!! we had an appointment to change the tires. we warned that we would be with a child. we were told that it would take no more than an hour and a half. we waited for three hours!!!!!. we were not able to call a taxi so that my child and I could go home because the car seat was inside the car. this is the worst service I have ever encountered in my life. all the lions had to wait for more than two hours. although with Canadian courtesy they promised to do everything in an hour. we will never use costco tires again.

Costco used to be about bulk discounts but I haven't gone there in quite some time so I decided when I travel down to the city that I was going to do some shopping and buy some bulk items. Would have come to realize his Costco is now for people with big families who just want bigger boxes or bigger portions of items. The prices are highly comparable to other stores especially online and the only real benefit is that you get more or larger items. The redeeming quality to keep a Costco membership is they've always got cheap food $1.50 hot dogs +drink and $5 poutines with real cheese curds which you don't see very often. that are worth 60 bucks a year if you live near a Costco and enjoy quick lunches. But it's getting harder to justify the membership cost unless you strictly shop at Costco and live in a vicinity that's not inconvenient to get there. They don't even have diesel at the fuel stop only gasoline.

Shop with good selection and prices. But the store's policy to search customers' personal belongings violates personal boundaries and people's rights. This is a small wholesale store that provides large packages of goods. Which is simply probably not really stealable. In a word, at the expense of buyers, the store saves on video surveillance and specialized security.

Need the good food products to stay available someway. Also its annoying to have to show you’re Costco Card on the way in when you cannot purchase anything without it on the way out. Put those greeters at the door to work directing customers to the next quickest cashier. These cashier lines need more control. Have a couple lines for 10 items or less. Have a special line for oversized items such as TV, Flooring, Appliances, etc…

I purchased tires from Costco and utilized the tire service warranty, due to the tire leaking air. I made an appointment for 4:30. They didn't bring my truck into the service are until 5:30. I was assured that, even though they were very late withe getting my vehicle in, it wouldn't be much longer. I finally got my tire fixed at 7:00. I didn't even get an apology for the horrible service! Unbelievably unprofessional!!!!

Amazing service from management with helping me on a 3 year old return. Spent lots of time with me during a busy day and they sent me home to call me back figuring it all out themselves instead of me having to wait for them to resolve it. Full refund and everything. Love this effort.

Needs a better parking lot. Always a zoo getting in and out of here. Also wish costco would eliminate the people who receipt check you upon leaving. You already get checked if you have a card before entering and you have to scan it at the cashier, so there is no point in having a THIRD person check to see if I have a membership. It would increase the flow of traffic at this already atrociously busy spot.

I tried to make consecutive appointments for my husband and myself to have hearing tests done. We had to have consecutive appointments as I am my husband's caregiver and need to be in his appointment. The woman on the phone said it was not possible to give consecutive appointments. I said we could book the appointment far ahead to make it possible. She said that would not help -- they do not book consecutive appointments. She could not offer an explanation of any kind, other than they just did not do that. I asked to speak to a manager -- not in. She said I could call back to speak to a co-worker of her's. I said no thank you we would look elsewhere. I am appalled at the total lack of customer service this woman showed. There are a number of things she could have done to help: (a) make it her business to understand why that policy exists so that she can explain to customers. (b). send us to another Costco that does offer consecutive appointments, (c) offer to talk to the manager and have him/her call us back, instead of putting the onus on us. We booked consecutive appointments at another Costco, no problem.

Costco has a lot of household items and in wholesale quantities too…..but for members only. Their prices are probably the lowest around too.

Honestly Regent Costco Sucks. Didn't have the items I wanted. I usually go to Kenaston. Decided I'd give Regent a shot since I work near that location. But honestly I'm never going back. I'd rather spend 5 more minutes driving past my home after a 10 hour work day than waste anymore time at Regent being disappointed. Kenaston is just a tighter ship.

Love Costco, Josh and Donel were amazing they helped me load 30 cases of flooring right at closing time. They had a great attitude, I felt bad using them right at close but they didn't mind at all. Were very polite and even made my little girl laugh.

Ok did not like how i was treated at the door going out. They accused me of not paying for 11 pounds of butter. I bought 12 lbs. The teller who checked me out with the rest of my purchases only charged me for 1 lb.not 12. I was not my mistake as i purchased several hundred dollars worth of products .the lady at the door made me out to be a thief .pulling my cart aside and calling for a mgr. I was very imberist. Im 81 yrs. Old i have a black card for years and purchased 20.000 dollars of product. And am very well financially secure. I dont need to steel 11 lbs. Of butter. I deserve a written apoligy or compinsatuon .after all it was your tellers mistake. Mbr.no. 111802652486.please excuse spelling errors .not my best subject.

Went in to purchase fridge and stove. Walked out with only a stove . Tried talking to an costco employee to see if we could purchase the fridge and pick it up the next day and he said no. That was fine, so he got us to speak with another person worked in appliances and we asked him if there were any more of the fridges we were looking at getting and he never bothered in checking or even acknowledging we were there waiting for a response. So we left. Not impressed with his work ethic. Carol Fontaine

Smaller Costco than the one we usually shop at. Layout is also very different. But would go again for smaller shopping. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Optical People are the nicest, most generous people out there. They fixed my glasses, even though I didn't buy them there. Completely free. Amazing customer service, always helpful.

Never knew Costco is that big until I visited. Nice things and good prices. Just that you have to be a member before you can go in, that puts me off....

Many weekly/monthly sale items and unique items. Some items are not regularly stocked so if you see something buy it because it may not be there the next time you go. Return policy is very good.

I don't shop here much as my wife does. I ran into a few unfriendly staff that were not much help. However, I did manage to find one. I bought a fridge, I needed a hand loading it. They told me to wait, after several minutes waiting and someone came, a new customer who had just showed up and they went to them first and said someone else would be with me. It was clear I was there first, when I said I was there first, politely, the staff member and the customer both looked at me with a blank look and just kept walking. After waiting several more minutes, I just decided to load the item by myself. Someone in the parking lot saw me getting ready to lift it and came and gave me a hat thank goodness. There was a gentleman at the propane fill who was extremely unpleasant to deal with. It's about a 40 to 45 minute drive home which is my fault, not Costco's. I got home and the fridge was completely damaged. I drove 40 minutes back to exchange it, there was no management of the return line. People were trying to cut me in line left right and center, but I managed to just tell people I was there first. The exchange went smooth other than the fact that they had to return my money and then I had to go now wait in an extremely long lineup, which was very inconvenient. There were no carts to be found, after several minutes I found one. I made my way back to the truck where I experience the exact same loading problem as before. Except finally I told somebody firmly that I needed a hand to lift this item. I also had an odd interaction with the manager at one point, but I don't need to go into detail about that. I'll just leave it at. It was very strange.

Great Bulk store. Costco has so much under one roof. They sell electronics, clothes, bulk food(of course), have a hearing center and a vision center, bulk prices are cheap and they have a popular food stall that sells their well known affordable hotdogs and some slices of pizza and fries. Also Lots of good food items you can't get anywhere else.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Performance I was at the store yesterday which is Monday, August 2,2022 as we wanted to buy a winter jacket for our granddaughter but her size 7 had been sold out , Danielle was working in that department and she went over and beyond what is expected have a good employee she was very friendly and helpful she went to look at the back and came back with a jacket for us for our granddaughter the colour we wanted, we had travelled from a far distance away to get to the store. Danielle needs to be commended on her performance she was a great help and she really did make my and my wife’s day by finding the jacket that we had been waiting for for our granddaughter thank you Danielle Keep up the great work and your kindness smile and personality is what is needed in retail these days⭐️

Went to the optical department this week to pick up my frames. It usually is a busy area. What I did notice during my visit on multiple occasions, The lady named Cari is very unattentive to the clients that are in line waiting. On the 3 visits, I noticed she will be standing around at the till doing nothing or distracting other colleagues while they are helping customers meanwhile 2-3 people are waiting to be served. Not sure if she's the manager, but help the rest of your team out. People don't like to wait to be helped and when you approach them at least try not to sound like we are inconveniencing you.

I do some of my shopping here. Especially like the meats and breads and sometimes you find hidden gems in the other areas. The hot food is good, too. We like the chicken fingers and fries. Great prices.

Unfriendly greeter on a power trip or something. Went in and immediately told greeters I was going to the pharmacy for my medication. I had a small dollar store bag with not many items in it, that’s all I was holding. I had very obviously just come from one of the 5+ dollar stores in the area/across the street but the woman at the door instructed that my belongings would be searched upon exit. When I left, I held up the prescription bag to the people at the exit and they let me pass but the woman who saw me upon entrance was waiting for me specifically to leave (there were 2 new greeters, 2 people by exit and then her standing around corner waiting). She said “open up” and I showed her my stuff, obviously I had taken nothing, not sure what is small enough to steal from Costco anyways. I’m not sure if she was on some kind of LP team but it seemed inappropriate; I wasn’t even dressed as one would deem “suspicious”. I’ve been coming to this Costco literally all my life, this has never happened before but has definitely tainted my experience.

Same as most Costco's, well stocked, same layout makes it easy to find things. Only gave four stars because they didn't have poutine available 😮 was really disappointed but other than that is clean and well maintained like most other costcos

Went around Sept 29 6:50pm. Girl at the till tried pushing the Costco blackcard on us 3 or 4 times while ringing us up. Had to consistently tell her no, then as I’m paying tries one more time saying we’re spending a lot of money, it’s way more than the average bill and that we should get it. Again tell her no, and my boyfriend whom I live with went to pay, she yelled for management saying he couldn’t pay and I needed to. After trying to pay with his debit (which is on our shared account) I ultimately had to use my personal debit as she wouldn’t let up. Not sure if she was annoyed we didn’t get the black card and she needed to hit a quota. First time at the Regent Costco and it was not a great one. Op # 122 Chelsea V

I get the best finds at the cheapest prices here. I always make sure to check at Costco first before any other store cos low prices guaranteed. Only downside is the long queue on most days. Found this for my new car under $76, haven't seen anything as good less than $100 lately

This Costco wire house is a great shopping outlet in Regent Winnipeg! Traffic here is a bit congested! Rest is good!

Come here if you want some hustle bustle and get some bulk stuff for good deals. Good quality product for the most part but I don't like busy stores. Good gas for best price but line ups can be very long. Come in the morning for shorter line ups.

Costco has the best customer service and they have many products with the best prices. It is always worth the trip. I only wish they had more product selection, single items for things like yogurt, nuts and seeds without oil or olive oil added. It’s not perfect but they do a good job overall.

I am not one to typically complain. However now twice in row I have found my local Costco to be very disappointing. Understandably it is just way too busy and staff does their best to keep up. The little things like cleanliness, lack of items on shelves and something as trivial as ketchup available for my hotdog. Hopefully more staff or some changes will be made to bring this store up to its normal high standards soon.

Amazing experience at Costco on Regent. Purchased a large quantity of flooring and Derek and Jerry came to hand bomb it into our vehicles for us. What fine gentlemen! Thanks again guys!
